This is a nice Northern Italian restaurant from the Fox Restaurant Concepts chain. The space is very large. Service and food can be a bit inconsistent depending on how busy they are. Don't miss the salted caramel budino from the dessert menu.

I never really appreciated how simple and consistent the food at North is. The beet salad, when in season is great, the meatballs are always good, and their Bolognese to their Salmon are enjoyed.

Coming from the East Coast are expectations of Northern Italian food are quite High. It took some time to find high-quality Italian food here in Denver. If you are looking for fresh authentic high-end Cuisine I highly recommend you check out in Northern Italian. They do a fantastic job! If you have Celiac or gluten issues they will take good care of you as well. Well it may be a little bit more expensive than other Italian restaurants in the area I highly recommend it it's worth it.

Great food and amazing service. Chris the tall bartender and waiter was as amazing. He coached us through ordering and we had the most fabulous dinner thanks to him. We had an amazing experience, thank you.

Delicious food and great service. This place is one of my favorite in Denver and the surrounding areas. The Prosciutto Bruschetta and Italian Meatballs are to die for. Staff is very attentive and helpful. All around the 5-star service! My wife and I will be back soon.

Decent food. We ordered the arancini, margarita pizza, kids pasta and kids grilled cheese, then the donuts and tiramisu. Everything was good and the service was good. Perhaps I'm biased from spending a lot of time in Italy but I would say don't come here thinking you're going to eat anything like you would in Italia. This place is Italian only in name.

Terrible service, high prices
We went for New Year's Eve, arrived early for our 9:30 pm reservation. We decided to sit in the bar area, it was less crowded. Big mistake from what others are saying. Anyway, we were a party of 4, with our two kids, 12 and 13 years old. Even though Open Table says a meal there is in the $30 range, each meal was $55.00. Granted, it did include a "starter" dish and a small dessert, but really? There was no kid's menu so we paid over $220 for an average meal. Our first waiter was very nice, but right after taking our order, he had to leave. So we got the bartender who was wearing a pair beat up jeans. I mean really, at an upscale CC restaurant? He looked like he just walked in off the street from bowling or something. He had no interest in waiting on us, that was obvious. It took over an hour for our main dish to arrive, and cold at that. When I could not get the bartender's attention, I flagged another worker down and asked for the manager. She was nicely dressed and helpful. She could tell we were being ignored, so she comped our drinks (a margarita and a soft drink).
I get that it is New Year's Eve and they want to offer a simple menu, but no excuse for slow service and warm, not hot food being served. Or get a real wait person to serve and keep the amateur bartender where he belongs, behind the bar in his beat up jeans. The other thing I don't get is why the waiters deliver the dishes one or two plates at a time? I watched one waiter deliver two plates, one in each hand, with his fingers wrapped around the top of the dish. Talk about unsanitary. I grew up in the restaurant business. We would serve 350 people a night. We used carts that held 15, 20 dishes each, covered up I might add. I even asked the bartender/waiter why the food service was so slow, and he said because they had 40 "covers" (guests) in the main dining room....
I was thinking, 40? That's all? What a lame excuse. I was really hoping that this place would be my new "spot" ~ but it was not to be. Great way to kick off the New Year, with a cold, expensive meal and very sub-par service. My kids were joking that we could get better food at Popeye's Chicken. Sadly, they might be right! Lest you think I am just complaining for the sake of it, I will tell you that the scallops were delicious (but not served hot). Not sure they were worth $55 however. I know, that price included a "starter" dish, and a very small dessert (which was quite good, I might add). But overall, it was not worth the money. The owner needs to get rid of the "managers" and check out what goes on in the bar and dining area. He/she will be surprised. Sorry to say, I won't be back. Go to Piatti Restaurant at 190 St. Paul. I have never had a bad (or even average) meal there and the service is spectacular!

Charcuterie board was mediocre, need a better variety of cheese and meat. I forget what the name of it was, but the most expensive salad was delicious, mixed greens, cucumbers, red onion, tomatoes, olives, and salami with an Italian dressing. We split the short ribs with creamy polenta, amazing. Also had the Salted Caramel Budino for dessert, it was tremendous. Sangria was light and fruity, delicious. Will definitely return.

My family and I were visiting CO and we randomly stopped at this restaurant. We absolutely loved it! The service was amazing and the food was so tasty. Even the kids menu is pretty delish lol! My husband had the Italian meatballs and I had the arancini. Both were soooo good. We had a couple of drinks as well and everything was great. We loved so much that we had to make an extra stop before we were leaving town for another yummy bite. Highly recommend it!

We got take out recently from North Italia and it was amazing! The quality of the food and the care they took to package each meal was superb - exactly what I needed during quarantine time!

The food was simply delicious. The arugula fennel salad was perfect, they made a specialty latte just right, and the mains were similarly wonderful. Everyone was very pleasant. My only complaint is that we ask to be seated in a quiet section of the restaurant, and our server seemed to forget about us. We how to waive down help twice. Fortunately, everyone is super trained to be pleasant and accommodating, and our server was apologetic.

I went to North Italia hoping to find the same North Italia from Irvine. I found the food very similar and delicious. The bolognes is definitely good. Wish it was a bit less salty but which restaurant isn't salty these days?

The chicken parmesan is by far the best I have ever had. The atmosphere is fantastic and has a great blend of patrons that are out for a date night or a casual family night. The only negative in two trips is the service is slow. The food makes up for the lapse in service.

We eat at North every once and a while and typically love it. Tonight's service was disappointing from the moment we walked in the door. We walked in during happy hour and wanted a table in the normal dining area but the hosts said happy hour was only in the bar so we chose to sit outside which was fine. Our server wasn't great either. He didn't give us silverware which I had to grab from an empty table. He never refilled our water glasses or left a pitcher. My boyfriend ordered a beer and didn't ask for wine but ended up with a glass before his beer got to the table (happy hour 1/2 off a selected bottle). The flavor of dinner wasn't there either. Just very disappointed especially since we are "regulars."

I had high expectations because I love Flower Child and True Foods, same owner. We arrived on a weekend for their brunch- lunch menu. They have a covered outdoor front patio area in front, but we opted to be inside. North Italia is a beautiful restaurant, inviting one in.

We were seated in the far corner, which I liked because it gave us a good view of the entire restaurant. However, it took a long time for a server to come to our table. I think the front hostess folks need to have better communication with the wait staff.

Khalid, our server was attentive, informative and gracious. I ordered an ice tea and later my friend and I decided on a glass of prosecco or two!

Food: we shared the Arancini,: crispy mushroom risotto stuffed with scamorza cheese, which look like meatballs, but these are made with risotto, deep fried and presented in a hot iron skillet with a very tasty red sauce. Then we shared the deep fried calamari, crispy fried over arugula in a lemon vinaigrette. This was perfectly cooked and paired. The greens and calamari were so delicious! It could be a nice simple salad, but we ate this as one of our starters. However, my friend thought the calamari was over fried. I thought the calamari was perfect!

Next, the main courses. I ordered the Short Rib Hash. The meat was so tender and flavorful. The Hash was crispy and a bit spicy with the red pepper flakes. If you do not like hot spices, then beware. I loved it. The two fried eggs were perfectly fried over easy with grilled toast with sprinkled parmasan cheese. My friend ordered the fungi pizza. It looked delicious and she told me it was really yummy. She took the rest home and her daughter ate it later and said it was yummy too.

We finished our meal with another glass of prosecco and shared the strawberry tart! This was such a beautiful presentation, we had to photograph it!

Overall, Khalid was an excellent server!

I told my friends to come here and they also had a great time, but they also encountered a lag time between when they were seated and when someone came over to serve them. Their server was Nikki and once Nikki apologized, and the manager came over to their table, the service was great. My friends loved Nikki and loved the food!

Came across this restaurant during our recent stay in Denver. Located right down the street from the Marriott, Cherry Creek. I ordered Spaghetti Bolognese and their garlic bread. Both were really good. Also enjoyed the outdoor seating.

Service was perfect -hostess and server were top shelf. I had the diver scallops with risotto. Meal was one of the best I have ever had. Carlie had pasta and said was cooked to perfection as well. Very busy restaurant in the trendy Cherry Creek area.

We ordered Zucca Chips and Chicken Pesto. The food presentation was mouth-watering. The crispiness and the saltiness of the Zucca chips were just enough. The chicken pesto was cooked to perfection. The flavor of the chicken marinated in pesto along with olive oil, garlic, and basil is bound to be everyone's favorite combination. Great job!

Great place for specialty pasta, pizza, sandwiches and salads. Very unique, cozy atmosphere and staff a cut above the rest for a more upscale restaurant. All pasta orders never made ahead, hand made to order when ordered. Highly recommend the North...Marcia

The pizza was fantastic and the great service made the meal pickup easy. I have allergies and they were able to answer all my questions. I got the mushroom pizza and a Caesar salad, it was so good!! I also had some kind of delicious fancy cocktail. Highly recommend.

We just enjoyed a beautiful ALL GLUTEN FREE meal. We had the Funghi 15 pizza on the delightfully chewy/crispy gluten free crust. We also had the Short Rib Radiatori with gluten free pasta. I absolutely could NOT tell that the pasta or pizza crust was gluten free. For desert we had the amazing Hazelnut Torta! Truthfully I was worried throughout the entire meal. Everything was SO AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS that I was worried it might not really be gluten free. I am delighted to tell you that it was definitely gluten free, as I have had no I ll effects. Jeff our server was fantastic. Professional, attentive, knowledgeable and proud of the food he was serving. I very much look forward to our next visit. Thank you for a lovely evening.
