I visited an exhibition on refugees and another on negotiations with the Colombian FARC and was surprised. My expectations were exceeded: the place is brilliant and spectacular. If I ever return to Oslo, I will certainly visit the new exhibitions.

It was a day of free admission. The voice guide was also free, and there was a Japanese one. It was smaller than I had imagined, but the exhibition about sex crimes on the battlefield became a great study.

Not very big. You can see it in less than an hour. Lots of reading. I'm not a big museum person but thought this would be a bit more interesting and provide some insight on the criteria and selection process of the winners but it didn't.

It is a museum of those that make you think and reflect. Very interactive for children and young people. Its halls are guiding you on the culture of peace towards the great hall with all the Novel de la Paz prizes. Very well explained and very easy to interact.

For those who like to know the history of this famous award it is an important place. Nice construction with some very interesting classrooms.
On the way to the port area, it is a good visit.

A place to know about the Nobel Peace Prize winners. It is also a place where you can know your ignorance.

Many people didn't have the same name as their face, and as a result of visiting here, I realized that I needed to become more familiar with the world.

Super interesting museum. When I visited it there were basically 2 exhibitions and a small permanent spot. I enjoyed all of them a lot. It is all graphic and easy to follow. If you like to read and get details, be ready to spend 3 or 4 hours if you the time.

Exciting exhibition, interactive content to inspire the younger and many good people like Nadia Murad, the effect. Unfortunately, there are also black sheep, which are praised free of criticism, such as the Grameen Bank.
Nevertheless or just because worth a visit! Journalists get free entry here without any problems.

Very impressive. It is made clear in a nice playful way how you can change yourself to be better for the climate.
The exhibition about the Nobel Prize winners of 2018 is very impressive. How 2 people who are in such a situation behave towards the world is amazing. Impressive to watch.

Nice place, interesting. Full of photography and important protrait. Not wonderful or amazing. Just like a simple museum.
Very nice place where you can see many photos of famous people for the Nobel Peace Prize and exciting photos. Inside there is a room where you can see videos regarding the atomic bomb. With the travel all day ticket is free. Inside there is also a bar and a small shop with very nice things.

Spectacular museum! Very good rotating exhibits about world humanitarian issues and an exhibit on the current year's peace prize winner. My favorite part is the dark room where they have tablets which have info about all of the recipients of the prize, and every few minutes the room displays a light show and a speech from a random recipient is played...gave me goosebumps. visit this museum if you are in oslo, it is insightful and inspirational.

I really recommend spending there a couple of hours (4.5 in my case) and reading absolutely everything. Histories behind the pictures in the gallery downstairs are shocking and force a reader to think. The heart of the Center - description of all the Prize winners - is arranged very beautifully.

Walking through the Nobel Peace Center gives you the idea of how much Norwegian value the importance of peace, humanity and democracy. Layout of the exhibition is done well. The auto sensor section is very interesting.

The room with the interactive photos (with explanations) of the Nobel Peace Prize laureates is a very successful installation. There is also an exhibition that honors the two Nobel Prize winners of 2018 and their work.

Great to look at some of our heroes who have worked selflessly for the betterment of mankind. The current theme on wealth is a sad reflection on how wealth and the desire for wealth can destroy people's lives

Well-built museum dedicated to Nobel Peace Laureates.
Very interesting temporary exhibitions.
On the first floor various rooms dedicated to the Nobel Prize winners, one to the last winner, another with the history of the Nobel Peace Laureates represented by a field of illuminated flowers.

Nobel Peace Prize Museum. Curious and necessary is to know that all Nobels except for Peace are given in Stockholm and that of Peace is given in Oslo. There are quotes and biographies of all the winners.

I love the mission of the Nobel Peace Center, so I thought I would be wowed by the center. It was incredibly disappointing. The displays were poorly organized - they could only accommodate 1 person at a time even though thousands of people are pouring through there. The exhibit with the biographies of past Noble prizes was ridiculous - a maze of iPads that sometimes activated and displayed information and sometimes did not. The winners were not organized in chronological order, by geographical region, or by issue - it was a haphazard mess. They should have had a museum expert design a space and experience worthy of Nobel, but alas - they failed miserably. I would skip the Center until they demonstrate some creativity and passion.

Certainly informative if you take the time to read about all the Nobel Prize recipients, but unfortunately it quickly gets boring despite trying to make the tour interactive with iPads. It could be made much more magnificent which it should be.

Nothing much. Just trying to make some money off us common folks. Am exebition like the one displayed should be free to inspire people like me. Otherwise well displayed. Most of the merchandise in the centre shop is easily forgettable.

Ok to visit for completeness sake and to have a feel for Noble Peace prize etc.. was very crowded when I visited, Its worth spending about 30 mins here. Perhaps as one of the last things to do for completeness sake :-)

I would have liked to get an introduction of the beginning/ background of the Nobel prize, Albert Nobel himself, etc. Also, it could be a bit more interactive; I loved the exhibition with the tablets on the 2 floor and the section for the refugees, but I felt that the whole museum was about Carl von Ossietzky, who won the prize in 1935, the Tunisian quartet in 2016 and the situation with the refugees, which I found very interesting but for 100 NOK I can read in depth about it at home. It could also be bigger!
