Best premium holiday in the Maldives. Beaches without algae and fish. A wonderful feeling of confidence and relaxation when no one touches you on the stomach. Therefore, snorkeling taken out on a boat for the reefs. For this 5+ because Fans of swimming in the thick of algae and fish should go first to Mauritius. And do not see the situation with the beach running in the Four Seasons or One & Only Maldives. The food is wonderful, a lot of sports including surfing. For children, a bunch of programs and nannies.

This is our sixth time in Maldives. The first five were in six senses resort, we decided to change this time and I m glad to see other resort that is beautiful and wonderful as this one. Our butler Sham was superior, and the quality of food was great although expensive. The Spa was amazing especially AO the massucer. although I missed a relaxation area after finishing message. It will be perfect if there will be a relaxing area that is sea view, to have your drink there. Other than that everything is absolutely amazing. Tribal restaurant is amazing, The Edge restaurant also is very nice.
One note is that there were alot of small children
We felt little annoyed since we were aiming relaxation.

Excellent resort (for anyone who loves the sea) ...
And a 5-day leave .. The resort is really of a very high standard and their staff treat the guests in a sophisticated way to the point of excellence and make you feel that you are a crowned king ..
This is without exaggeration, especially mentioning Hossam Al-Tunisi and the two Egyptian men - at the Blue Restaurant - all of them have high morals with Arab visitors..but for information, there is no commercial activity in it outside the hotel's services ..
And in the evening after 12 o'clock there is no movement throughout the resort ....
And that means the only available option is Wi-Fi and a sleeping bed .. and waking up to the ocean waves .. I wish everyone a happy journey..and I acknowledge the Maldives, the tourist has great respect and does not face problems ..
I mean airports and resorts, and I do not know about other aspects ...

I have no words to explain what is being lived as much as you are in the Maldives . It's our 7th time at Maldivian Paradise and we've always changed from Hotel. Niyama Private Islands is the best of the 7 we've been to. The Island, the service, the staff is a level . Highly recommended for both couples and children. Tea 2 connected islands, Chill and Play. Our 6 year old son enchanted with the Explores Kids Club 5 , they do all kinds of activities and excursions. Half a day they take you to lunch (Complimentary - Free of charge) And If your child gets tired they will take you with a buggy in your Villa.
An attached photos so you can rate. There are many Maldives of Resorts of different prices and dimensions. This Niyama is Top Premium for customers who value luxury and obviously this has to be paid. There are new resorts (New Openings) with all inclusive Islands and no vegetation and with 2-storey buildings. That's not the same Maldives. Niyama is a recomensible resort for premium traveler profile.
Best regards and enjoy Maldives

The island is very beautiful, the staff are very friendly and attentive, the rooms are superb and the food great; but attention, with rain / bad weather, the resort has few alternatives; The scheduling of the sea activities (diving, visiting the coral, etc.) is rigid, not flexible, activities do not happen frequently during the week and being a canceled one is very.provide there is no other opportunity to do the activity (unless which made our stay more than a week long). In this aspect that I think important I believe that the resort has to improve and being very expensive is something that ends up being regretted. For those who are looking for fun, fun and activity maybe the resort is not the best option! Anyway it was worth it! Thank you Fairooz!

I did not succeed in my experience in this resort and for the honesty I tried the Four Seasons Resort Koda Hora previously, much better than Niyama Resort, the material cost is similar, but the service in Niyama is very poor

My wife and I are avid travelers and this includes bringing our young toddlers with us. Even though our daughter is 4-1/2 she's already been to 12 countries. My wife has been to over 60 countries. The Maldives is like nothing you've ever seen - it's a dream come true. I feel blessed to have been able to visit and even better given my experience at Niyama. This is an incredible resort and one of the best I've ever stayed at. It is a combination of a luxury resort and a relaxed beach environment all located in the most beautiful archipelago in the world. The 2 islands (Chill and Play) are rather large and incredibly well maintained with lots of beautiful beaches, snorkeling spots, a surf break and amazing villas connected through winding paths that you can bike everywhere to. You can bike from one end of Play to Chill in about 10 leisurely minutes. Even though the islands and resort are rather big, you would never know it. It doesn't seem large because you don't see many people except at the buffet meals - and even then it still has a good feel and is not overwhelming.
The staff and operations of Niyama was impressive to say the least. The entire experience was cultivated through attention to detail, incredible service, engagement, lots of smiles and taking care of the entire family, especially our children.
The Kids Club was a huge hit with the kids - they barely wanted to go to the beach. I can't say enough about the Kids Club facility and staff. There's so much for the kids to do and they develop a lot of activities for them and are incredibly attentive and engaging with the children. Sarah and Olivia were absolutely incredible. The children still talk about it and their time there.
The entire experience was great and it was a combination of nature, beauty, relaxation, a beautiful resort, great landscaping and a bunch of little things like the name tags on the bikes, special things for the kids, they even threw a birthday party for my boy, etc. Not to mention the great conversations with Hassan (our Thakaru) and everyone else who seem genuinely happy and eager to be of service.
Honestly, I wish we had extended our stay (we were there 6 days) and could spend more time there. It would be incredible if we get the opportunity to go again. Part of traveling is to see travel to a number of different countries to see other cultures and places - the beauty and experience here was so great, I'd love to go back!

Amazing. The staff are fantastic. I've been to a couple of Maldives resorts and they are all beautiful but there is no place more perfect than Niyama and the reason is the staff. From Didi down they are experts in making you feel special. You have to put this resort on your bucket list.

We stayed at the Niyama during December 2018. We a...

We stayed at the Niyama during December 2018. We are a family of 5 (3 kids). I will be relaying a very unpleasant experience during the stay and also after the stay. Shortly after our arrival, my son had a gastroenteritis with strong diarrhea, stomach and abdominal cramps, dizziness, vomiting, rashes all over his body and fever. We gave him over the counter medication, but that didn t help, only we found out later that it was a serious condition. Since he didn t get better, we called the doctor in the resort who prescribed antibiotics. The vomiting continued even after leaving the resort at the airport. Although this ruined our stay, we accepted our tough luck and tried to enjoy our stay as much as we could.

That was not the end of it. We came back home and 2 weeks later, we noticed that our son had difficulties to walk, and his lower muscles started getting weak and not functioning. He also started feeling some numbness on his fingers. We were advised to take him to a neurologist. The neurologists were alarmed by his condition and prescribed to conduct immediate medical exams: MRI, NCS and EMG suspecting that his condition could be a dystrophy or multi sclerosis or something similar. After a nightmare that lasted almost 5 days, the doctors came up to the conclusion that it was Guillan-Barre Syndrome (GBS) (an acute inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy syndrome). This is a rare serious neurological condition that damaged our son nervous system and disrupted the communication between his brain and voluntary muscles.

How do you get this? This is a direct consequence of a gastroenteritis caused by a bacterium called a campylobacter. His recovery path was unclear at that time and they prescribed intense physiotherapy for about 10 weeks. Thanks god he got better, and he is recovering now. The timing was bad since he was taking his GCSE mock exams and he could not do any sport. He still cannot practice any sport.

We reported the matter to Niyama resorts and provided all medical proofs that our son condition was triggered following an infection that happened at the resort. They forwarded the matter to their insurance and legal advisors that handled the case in a very poor way. They were not responding in timely manner, missing deadlines, buying time and after waiting for 2 months, they closed the case denying that our son infection has nothing to do with our stay. Somehow, they went back in time and pulled hygiene reports during our stay saying that there is nothing abnormal. What shocked us, they went and asked the staff and maybe pulled CCTV recording and claimed that our son had fun during his stay . That was very insulting and disrespectful towards a family that lived an outrageous fear for more than 2 months. We dealt with them in a very professional way and the least I can stay is that they were amateurs.

Yes, the resort is amazing, but your luck could be like ours. What really bothered us is how such a resort handled the case.

Even though the name Anantara, don't expect it to be a 5 star. A bit of a hassle initially with them on email confirmation. However, The reception was very good from the airport to the hotel giving you a perfect vibe of the hotel. The flight was 45 min from MLE airport with the seaplane. Your own butler will take you to the room with introduction, (mahi) our butler gave a good introduction and he set our dinner plan for our stay. The shock of our stay giving it a 3 was the food quality of the hotel. For the first 2 days, we have found hair in our food. The first time we bought it to their attention, the respond was not professional as if it's not their problem. Next day morning, we saw a staff not using gloves using is bear hand taking salmon and putting to the customers in the buffet area. I have requested the manager (Steave ) and bought it to his attention. the second time after discovering hair deep inside the biscuit the Cheif came and apologised sincerely. The Cheif (Kamlesh) did invite us again on dinner and did an amazing dinner, which honestly the food taste and experience was heaven. I was so disappointed that such an amazing experience could have been from the start without any issues. Even though the island is beautiful and staff manner are very well, it's those small things that makes the experience either good or bad. I am sorry to say that the higher Managment did not bother to send an apology letter or a confirmation that this behaviour is not acceptable and they will look into it as a serous matter. I made it clear as a member of Anantara hotel, that all what I wanted is the standard expectations of what I have paid for. However, the impression I got that they thought I wanted things for free. Which sadly was not, as this beautiful and amazing place do deserve a 5 star if not that experience.

I have spent countless hours at unique luxury 5 star resorts all around the globe but Per Aquum Niyama is above and beyond most and truly lives up to its tag line "Daring to be different". Butler Milo is the best butler I have ever had the pleasure to work with. If you are considering the Maldives, you Have to stay at Niyama. This resorts redefines the word hotel and hospitality.

Having just returned from a fabulous week at Niyam...

Having just returned from a fabulous week at Niyama - I literally cannot say enough good things about the place! It is more than a resort it s a life experience.
The twin island concept, food, accommodation and the service were simply exceptional. The resort caters to every type of person the honeymooner, the active type, the solo traveller and families without it feeling biased towards any one kind of clientele. There isn t time to articulate all the good things about the service at Niyama. The attention to detail is fantastic and this really comes from the top down Didi the GM has to really be applauded for his management of the resort, so much time has clearly been invested in giving each and everyone a personalised and bespoke experience - from the way everyone at the resort knew my name and preferences but also the extra mile that the staff went to to make this an experience of a lifetime for me. My Thakuru made such an effort to take me snorkelling for the first time (it was almost like having a good friend go with you!). These are memories I will never forget. Special thanks go to Didi (GM), Shahula (my thakuru simply amazing), Adam Smith ( great expert on marine life) & Romzee/Ranjith for the Yoga!
The facilities were great and varied I don t think you could ever be bored! The menu of watersports and activities on offer were great! And if you are looking for a relaxing trip well the Lime Spa with those fabulous blue views breathtaking! The food options were fantastic, so many different cuisines and concepts from the Asian treehouse (Nest) to the more fine dining Edge.
The rooms were simply the best I have stayed in, each room category has something different to offer and you really cannot wrong. The Beach Studio with pool was absolutely stunning (it had the most amazing bathroom!) whilst the Water Studio had the quintessential Maldives View and access to the Lagoon.
This review probably does not do the resort justice, but as someone who enjoys luxury travel, Niyama has set the bar very high and I cannot imagine staying anywhere else on my return to the Maldives
Thankyou Didi and all the great staff at Niyama for making my stay so special, I hope to be back very soon!!

Very exclusive resort with two connecting islands that you can bike on powder sand covered trail. The service is top notch and the butler caters to your every need. The beach has pristine white sand and is nearly deserted despite over 250 guests on the island. The restaurants serve very delicious food ranging from African Cousine to Mediterranean buffet. Breakfast buffet even includes champagne. For those with kids you can drop them off at daycare with very professional staff that arranges dull activities for kids from 9am to 6pm, including free lunch. All at no extra cost for kid 3 years and up.

Niyama was the best cleanest resorts in Maldives s...

Niyama was the best cleanest resorts in Maldives so far from all the islands we visit , there is a lot of activity s to do but limited to a certain time table

Food taste was OK Not Bad-Not Perfect with a lot of choices.. If you enjoy Asian food you will like it a lot.

*Unfortunately the service was very bad in all ways possible*.. which is weird because ( there is a personal assistant assigned to each room that loves to help you make it an Unforgettable trip ) Don t get excited,, you will only see that mentioned on a paper in your room.

1) Activities you will find in a paper at your room.. I advise you to book as soon as you arrive to your room because it took us half a day to organize by our self because the assistant was busy with other guests around the Island while the best activities have a certain timetable upon availability.

3) Also we had a romantic Sunset Cruise booked for our last night.. we received 4 hours prior to the timing of the cruise that it was cancelled because there was only 1 couple who booked for today meaning us so they had to cancel it, but if we still want to go they can change our cruise to a private cruise & take us then but it will cost us around double the price that we paid !! When at the same paper at the Diving center activities form you will find a Note: (Kindly notify our team.. All excursions need to be canceled 24 hours before to avoid cancellation charges).

4)Every time we Request a buggy ride it s always late.. one time I finished with my SPA appointment & waited more than 30min till someone took me to my room & he said to my wife I m not supposed to take you because I have my own guests to serve !!!

We stayed for 4 nights only.. a big thank you to the diving center staff very helpful expensive compared to other resorts in Maldive but worth every dollar, The Spa ladies specially joy & Rebica big best 4 Spa days ever I will miss you all, if it wasn t for them we will never enjoyed our stay at Niyama.. Big thank you from the .

As with all the resorts in the Maldives, this place is heaven. It has around 6 unbelievable restaurants, of which my favourite was Nest and its teppanyaki station. Our suite, the Beach-Pool Pavilion, was incredible and featured a large bathroom, outdoor shower, 'hot' tub, pool, kitchen, sound system, and access to a secluded part of the beach. Whilst the water villas may seem fun, I believe this to be far superior. There're a lot of activities so you absolutely won't be bored.

I would absolutely return, next time with many more friends/family!

A very beautiful and very large island that I have with children I strongly recommend the children's section is fun and safe for the rooms are clean, but I don t want to divide them and the windows are nothing but stairs and if they come, you cannot sleep a disturbance. We spent a quarter of the day repairing and tying to the curtains
The restaurant is varied, but not once I recommend the island, and an important point is that the villas on the sea are unfortunately all coral. You cannot swim in your comfort.

Very very nice place to just relax urself, the private romantic dinner was amazing, spending your time in both rooms on the beach and water. Nothing to complain, but comes think about it, it s not necessary to go all special restaurant there, the underwater one and the Africa one are good and one more for private dinner will be great! Bye, if do not go those special restaurants, you can just go the all-day dining area, and the food is amazing too.

If you're looking for luxury, look no further! The strongest element of this resort is, for me, its culinary offerings! Their restaurants will blow you away! The underwater restaurant is not to be missed - and neither is the pan-African restaurant. I would recommend going half-board - there's a great 'starbucks' style cafe to pick up a delicious sandwich or salad, and then go crazy at dinner! We stayed in the larger beach villa with a pool and it's so worth it. The staff are perfection too!
