What's not to love about music at the beach ?? Its beautiful!
Great venue to attend a concert. Parking can be a challenge, especially when exiting.
Went to go see Jon Bellion in concert and loved the show! Parking was decent, VIP gets direct access out of the parking lot to the highway which helped get out quickly after the concert was over. Plenty of food options, kinda pricey but I guess that's expected at a concert. The little booth in parking field 5 (before you enter the concert vacinity) has beer, candy, food for much cheaper. All in all it was a great location, great seats and great experience!
we were told that if we wanted to drink something beyond a regular beverage, we had to "upgrade our tickets" to VIP. cost: $50 (that is on top of the amount i had already paid for my ticket) so basically, we had to pay $50 for the right to drink their $13.50 can of beer and $13.50 glass of wine in an area where you can't even see the stage except in severe profile. you can't even sit down in this area. biggest rip off ever. i feel like i was exploited. i wish i could prevent any future concerts from ever happening here to teach this theater a lesson about scamming their consumers but i can't. however, i can definitely try to dissuade everyone to not patronize them. if you like to have a few drinks while listening to a concert, it could result in being the most expensive concert you've ever attended. all in all, i spent a total of almost $200 to attend this concert and sip cheap wine....and the sound quality was poor at best.
The parking area was chill and fun. The lines through security were long but moved quickly. Bathrooms were horrific.
Great concert venue, clean, lots of parking, great time
Great concert venue not too large so every seat is perfect
Best concert venue I've been to the staff is friendly and helpful here
Always a great time when going to concerts here! Highly recommend!
Amazing show. THE WORST SEATS EVER MAID!!! it took me 5 days to feel better. The prices are insane!!! The place was nice and clean. The food was poor. You have no choice but to deal with it if you want to see a show. Its a shame such a nice place needs so much help. Its bad enough that the food is bad and the drinks are $$, can they at least put more people behind the counters...
It's the best venue for concerts!! Being by the water is amazing!
Beautiful view. It's a perfect place for concerts during summer.
Sound is always awful, parking is herendous, expect to walk 1/8 mile in VIP parking and 1 mile roundtrip for normal parking. bathrooms are super disgusting. Last two times I went the floor was literally covered in human excrement. And im not talking about #1.
See concerts there in summers for years. Great atmosphere around water with fantastic backdrop and awesome tunes
A truly beautiful venue for summertime concerts. Convenient parking and not a bad seat in the house.
Very friendly staff this no ..no issues..no hassles..perfect day..perfect Jimmy Buffett concert..will go again next year..Thank you Jones Beach for a terrific day of tailgating and a easy ride out!
I've always concerts at Jones beach. The sound is great and being outside keeps things interesting. Lol
Jones Beach Theater is one of my favorite places to watch a show
Great setting for live music (Heart & Joan Jett this time) by the water in an open air amphitheatre. Minus a star for the chaos that is the car park and the ridiculously expensive concessions
Enjoyed KTUphoria... free parking for this event was a good touch.
Great venue to see a concert in summer but awful (and UNSAFE) parking conditions
Went to see Joan Jett and The Blackhearts and #Boston last night. Great performances by both groups. We ran into a representative from #LiveNation and upgraded us to great seats in section 1. We ate at the Gorilla Grilled Cheese food truck. Amazing!! Pulled pork on a grilled cheese??? Yes and It was delicious.
Waited 3 hours in a storm for them to cancel the show, and extremely overpriced! Tshirts $45. A cheap can of beer was 16.50.
I've been here for many concerts, but most recently the Shinedown/Godsmack show. It's always a good time. We tailgated in the parking lot before the show started. I like that the parking lot isn't a far walk from the theatre. The staff is always nice and helpful. The facilities are always clean, and we discovered the party place/bar with DJ set all the way toward the back, which was really cool! It's never a nightmare to get out of, so I generally enjoy coming to concerts here. Also, food and drinks aren't ridiculously priced (even though they're still kind of expensive); it's doable.
Saw Deep Purple with Alice Cooper. The show was excellent and the venue was well kemped
Awesome place to see a concert. Loved even though it rained.
Concerts are always fun never a bad seat.... With that being said when the event is over your like herded cattle walking out the need to re-evaluate the exiting procedure such as removing the portable gates etc
Very nice venue, but a lot of people smoke marijuana at most concerts there, which can get pretty bad. The food is good though, and the stage is easily viewable even if the seats are very far back
Jay's. can you say best Venue around saying it's on the water and they now sell alcohol.
One of my favorite places to see a concert at. Sight lines are wonderful at all the seats, sound system is great and nothing beats a cool summer night at the beach to see live music!
How cool is this? Great music, great sound and what a view! No bad seat.
Wow. What. Great place for concerts. Especially in the summer If it does not rain. Really recommend.
The overall of the Arena was good though, the seats were uncomfortable to sit in. They were narrow, outdated and painful to seat in after a while. From the outside, it seems like it is only the Arena but there is a food court, small restaurant, bathrooms, and other small food stands.
A perfect venue for summer concerts! Open air, view of the bay and ocean. NO BAD SEATS!!
Beautiful views. Terrible acoustics. No cover when it rains. I've never walked out of here happy with my experience.
Great venue to see a show, but the prices for food and drinks has gotten out of control
Ten dollars for parking you get a day at the beach and a rock concert and the traffic was not bad after the concert.
Expensive. No alcohol. Also, a metal detector entrance
I have seen many concerts at this venue for years. The concessions are a little pricey, but that is to be expected.
Loved this place! Location was great with plenty of parking great food choices too. Even though I m the water and open the sound was great. Only thing I didn t like was you weren t allowed to bring alcohol back to your seats, there was an area that they sold alcohol that you had to stay. Also, you showed your ID, they give you a wristband but had to show your ID each time you ordered the drink...talked to a few people and they said it s the first they ever saw this at the venue. Not sure why it was done but it was inconvienant.
Great place for a concert, weather permitting. Usual ridiculous prices for water etc..
I went to a Kendrick Lamar concert. I didn't even know the artist or any of his songs but I had a good ass time
They've gradually improved the seating and food choices though security is much tighter.
We like this place. We might even go so far as to say that we love this place---*but*...it's just NOT an easy slog from our homeland: Downtown New York City. So, for such gigs as, say, Bob Dylan, Wilco and Beck (our lats show there), we'll slog away...otherwise, it's a rough road to get there.
This is a pretty nice venue, its completely outdoors and right on the water so you get a nice view of the bay while your watching your concert. The only downside is if it rains then your screwed because it is an outdoor venue. A personal recommendation because i learned the hard way, if its a rainy day and your umbrella has a point on the top, security WILL NOT let you bring it in.
Great no matter what seat no matter what weather. There is no better place to see a concert.
Great venue for a show under the stars. The 1st time I saw Prince live was here...good times
I just love it here! Very clean and organized. The Staff are very Friendly, the Security are awesome! They don't like it when you smoke of any kind, so watch out! They Warn you first, then you get kicked out of the Show if you misbehave. This is a Very Family oriented place, and l love it that way...Just like any other places, The food and drinks are pricey. And there's lots of Parking space, the lot is "Tailgaters Paradise", which I think is the best part of the Venue...
This place has changed they serve great food now and many alcohol choices on the inside of the venue . Can't wait to come back again .
Great venue to enjoy a show by the beach. Because it is open air, your ears are spared.
this theater is really cool. Its right on the water, with a beautiful sunset.
Not a summer goes by without at LEAST once trip to Jones Beach for a concert!
Pentatonix were great and the venue us really nice.
Only visit ever was for OZZY! Perfect venue even in the rain.
One of the greatest venues in the region, but they seriously need to fix the parking situation
