It's a reasonable price--$23--to fill a 5gal CO2 tank, but I was very upset with my experience at this store. All of the men I interacted with were blatantly misogynous and made degrading comments about me to my partner, who is a man. If you're a woman, I suggest finding a different place to fill a tank. I personally will not be returning as I cannot support a business with these ethics.

Filled my first tank of CO2 with NFC today, and there's a reason why NFC has such a solid reputation. I arrived at closing time, but had called ahead. Dorothy assured me the'd wait for me. After chatting with Dorothy and Norb, it's quite obvious they know their stuff. But now I can also report that they have your back when you're cutting it close. :-)

I visited these guys on a Saturday and was greeted by Bill the moment I walked through the door. I explained that I wanted to make sparkling water at the house and that I needed a 10 lbs aluminum CO2 tank to go under the sink. The prices were fair and Bill went above and beyond helping me piece together what I needed and even assembling what could be assembled. If you're looking for the pieces to make your own home brew beers, sparkling sodas, build a kegorator, or you just need to refill a CO2 tank then I strongly suggest you give these guys a shot.

12$ to fill any size paintball bottle guy took and filled bottles before I could ask price. I ended up paying 24$ for 2 12 oz bottles usually pay around 4$ each. Can t speak on other prices but if your going for paintball co2 go elsewhere

Great place to purchase & refill CO2 tanks. Got a great price on the CO2 tank for my kegerator and they were really helpful when I went to upgrade the kit. Love that they offer cheap refills....no need to swap tanks here!

Thankful to be so close in the neighborhood. Only use it to fill the soda stream. Friendly and quick. Great price.

Don't expect customer service. I have been bringing my business to this place for over 5 years (multiple 5 lb CO2 tanks at a time) and when I brought back a tank that had been underfilled they refused to take responsibility for it and then refused to do business with me because the manager said he didn't like my attitude.

This is clearly not a place where the customer is always right. The customer is probably wrong here and if the customer doesn't agree then the customer is disposable. They literally told me that they wouldn't serve me. The only resolution they offered before that was - just pay for another fill.

This is a great family run business that's been operating for 40 years. I called ahead because I was running late and they agreed to stay open a few extra minutes so I could get a CO2 refill. I highly recommend this establishment for refills as well as new purchases of tanks and a variety of home brewing and serving equipment.

It looks like an auto repair shop or something from the outside, but look for the "open" sign on the door. I didn't have any trouble finding street parking right out front on a weekday. Friendly staff. Filling a small paintball tank cost $10 plus tax, so $10.93 total. I'm using the tank for carbonation, so I prefer to get my CO2 from here than from a paintball or home repair place. This is also the only place I could find in urban Chicago that offers this. The customer part of the store was small, but the walls were packed with stuff, and it looked lie they could get and/or build whatever you need. They had a few sample kegerators set up inside, so it seemed like they knew what they were doing. This will be my go-to for CO2, and I'd recommend them for any beverage equipment needs.

Purchased a 10 lb tank for my home soda system, and they were super friendly, and gave great service. They took the time to go over the testing date for the cylinder I bought, as well as went through what each of the markings on the cylinder meant.

I went there to purchase some kegorator tubing for my kegorator. I viewed their prices and was astounded at the affordability. They were super helpful and practically came to me house to build it for me.... ( because they explained how to do it so well). If I need any gas or keg related parts this is going to be my stop!

Soda stream refill, no problems. They run a tight ship and I like them. I always bring my son and he marvels at all the different valves and adaptors and stuff they have for their commercial clients. I think that's their main business but they are completely courteous to a small retail customer like me.

I stop here to quickly get homebrew CO2 tanks filled. Always fast and friendly.
