Great place. Nice people. Love what they do to help the community

I don't know how they can legally call this a "solution" when they just give you like a 20 dollar gas card and say good luck. They don't even allow safe parking in that gigantic parking area they have. They at LEAST don't have to put up a piercing alarm that goes off at 10 PM every night to deter people from parking there to sleep. Treating DV victims like rats! California is good about driving people crazy with sleep deprivation!
Pathetic excuse for help. I've had to escape my husband multiple times with my kids (if they'd stop asking him for flocking child support maybe ... just maybe ... he'd leave us alone!! ). But, I digress...and this place was by far the least helpful and out of ANY state I've had to hide in with my kids, California has been the worst.
They were worse than even the South AND the Midwest. Sad. So so sad. Those people are broke. But at least they show compassion. I've not even seen compassion since stepping foot in this state!
There have been some cold, ruthless people here. Makes me feel like I'm always dealing with my ex. Should say something about Californians, and a domestic violence center if I'm comparing their attitudes, their approach, and their lack of empathy to a psychopath.

I like it because it helps us feel better every day with his way of guiding us

Great place to help those in need, especially women with children.

It is a group of people who care about your precious life, and try to help you regardless of your nationality ... on the contrary, they are interested in you and your children being well and they try to regain that confidence in yourself that God Keep giving them that wisdom to keep helping people in need .....

All women should be able to feel safe at all times if they don't they should know where to go to acquire that peace of mind

When no one else would listen, no one there was Nextdoor. 15-20 yrs have past and they have a new and immproved facility and supportive services and Im amazed. Patricia Cardenas

Why people help when they need it and the staff is very friendly

Next Door Solutions was part of the success formula of support... FINALLY. The memories through the process of leaving a very bad situation are more about the community family I found with their resources. Most certainly anyone who needs to get away from abuse, this is a solution based organisation and worth the precious seconds you find in between your shift, to put your life back together.

I emailed them that i need help and information for restraining ordered that issued by my gf( i explained in email)
They reapond me back i can walk in , someone will help me
I came, after hours , the representative told me we cannot help you at all because your not legal victim! Even your in bad depression!!!

Nohemi Nogueda Is amazing I had know idea she was able to help me the way she did I came to her seeking emotional help and she has help me in so many ways from helping me to find a new place to live to helping me build a better relationship with my son she is so resourceful. I defiantly appreciate and am very thankful for next door and Nohemi Thank you guys!!

My intake experience was disturbing, the advocate just kept repeating she had been through what I had so she understood but yet couldn't answer questions about where someone would seek assistance if their organization could offer none. Obviously she hasn't had the victims similar experience if she doesn't know the resources to solve their specific problem. Proceeded to cite what I should have done in past reference rather than focus on a current solution which is aggravating when you're attempting to find actual solutions. Not the best person to work with crisis victims if they're going to show frustration and a lack of empathy. No matter how I communicated my concerns about my physical disabilities putting me in dangerous positions she proceeds to tell me to handle restraining orders and protecting myself from a harassing landlord. She thinks it's fine for people with seizures to solely go alone to all this stuff. Apparently they only help domestic violence survivors but if your domestic abuser brought you across state lines, now you're not their problem anymore because you're human trafficking instead. You're just your case label. All she wanted to offer was phone numbers I've already contacted. They use victims who still need counseling themselves to counsel other victims. This kind of learned helplessness is ineffective and dangerous to victims psychology.

Don't donate your dollars where they don't do anything but pay administrators to turn people away. You can waste time here trying to find help but I wouldn't make it your only hope.

Everyone I interacted with was warm and helpful during a difficult time in my life. Next Door Solutions changed my life for the better and I am very grateful for their help

They were informative of the knowledge we needed. It's fantastic that these domestic issue can be addressed in a safe place.

The best thing about this place is the daycare. The teacher for my daughter is so loving towards her. My little girl asks how soon till I get to see her that very same day. This has opened my daughter socially very much.

They are helpful and I am grateful for places like this because of all the resources they have especially when your in need, it really counts. I have had some not so great experience here when you dont have an appointment set up, but when it counts the most you will get some type of help even if you have to wait 5 hours.

I went in today to get a copy of a form that I needed and the receptionist was on her phone texting asking me if I needed anything (never made eye contact with me she continued to text) never greeted me I greeted her. Horrible customer service!!!! Very rude very blank hopefully I won't have to deal with her again.

Staff is always supportive, kept me safe in my time of need. This is an awesome program, i am grateful.

Came too next door back the 1987 they help me with couseling an I volunteer in the clothes closet ...they really helped me and what I was going through and drew closer to God
