Nice atmosphere, but sometimes the service is quite poor. You wait forever to be served

The wait for for is depressing for place with less than 10 patrons

Peaceful set-up after a long day at construction sites.

Waitresses were not friendly & food & drinks were lacking.

The drinks were great, but that was about it. Our server gave us sticky menus, and then forgot about us. I had to order from the bar - and the drinks took long to make. I would've understood if it was packed, but there 2 occupied tables besides us. It has definitely been better.

Standard News Cafe, however parking can be an issue. Ensure you arrive early if you want parking on location

It is one of those overlooked spaces but boy oh boy did i not have a fantastic lunch meeting there. The food was so much better than i had expected. This is one of the better kitchens that i have encountered from the franchise. I think the only let down is the staff. They are a little hard to pin down but my waitress today was better than the other times i had been there. Also today i ventured past the drink menu and i dont regret that

The service is always great and they're pretty strict with the social distancing so I was comfortable. Seven Deadly Sins is the only drink that matters on the menu

Contemporary cafe/bar chain with an upbeat soundtrack, for cocktails, coffee and all-day breakfast.

Nice place to chill and hangout at night,however there is no good service.The food is ok nothing special.

If you drink from the bar they dont give you attantion

This is a fantastic place owned by Mr Malumo, a very welcoming and wonderful host.
It is in upscale Randburg and caters for mostly middle class revellers getting on in years.
The service is fast and food overly delicious. You are never kept waiting.
I would recommend it highly for a safe and relaxed night out.

Noisy and had to wait 50min for my take aways when they told me it would be ready in 20min. And they messed up my order by giving me the same topping on both meals. This place is going downhill

Thanks for been open the Sunday night/Monday morning we needed a bar to be open in Randburg after 12am....had a good "deep" discussion with the owner, enjoyed the drinks, and managed to get back home by 3am!.... STAFF @ this NEWS CAFE are.... Simply..... FAN-FRIGIN-TASTIC!... FRIENDLY, WELCOMING, CURTIOUS & take PRIDE in their respective positions! WELL DONE!!

Extremely disappointing and a waste of R400. 00! Portions are small for the price, short rib was 60%fat! Harrisa chicken skewers were tasteless! No peri in the peri livers! Bathrooms filthy! Won't be going back!
