So polite and extremely helpful. Very gentle with my elderly Dachshund

Good place to take your pet.But unfortunately my dog was very sick it got into the garbage and past away over night.Not there Fault I sure miss my Bailey girl.

The Staff were very kind & knowledgeable. The Dr. explained all we nedded to know to raise our pup in a healthly way. Dr. answered al our questions. The Staff and Techs went beyond the normal visits to ensure a happy pup durning our visit. Highly recommended!

The staff here was very friendly and accommodating when I had an emergency with my dog, the doctor was very sweet. He ended up not making it but thank you for working us in and trying. A little pricey IMO, but what can you do?

This place is great! The vets and support staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Very knowledgeable and calming for pets that are a extremely stressed out. Prices are fair and I can't say enough good about them. Stop in you won't regret it.

They are very attentive to our pets and have many doctors who specialize in different areas.

They used to be good on prices but since new owners took over about 5 yrs ago they got outrageously expensive. They are awesome with pets.

This is a very high rating for me to give. Newaygo Vet has cared for my four-legged family and relatives for the last sixteen years. In the past we have had concerns and differences over medication and treatment for a rare breed (Tibetan Mastiffs), but overall I have been pleased with their service. They have been able to handle a large,.challenging, and difficult dog that other vets refused to see.

I am especially impressed by their prompt and informative responses to telephone calls with questions. They are not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

They been operating in accordance w the law so we just pulled into the parking lot and they did the rest. Very friendly, helpful. I just moved from Florida so this was a hard choice but we got lucky. He's a happy boy!

It was a long wait, but worth it when your pet is in pain. They make sure your pet is made comfortable for the wait to be seen. Very friendly and they take the time to really explain and answer questions. I would definitely recommend!

Caring, passionate crew of people here. The vets are very good at going over your pets progress, or condition even if its just a routing check-up, in person or via phone. Great office.

Friendly helpful staff and knowledgeable doctors have made me very comfortable bringing my dog here.

I can not tell you how disappointed I am in this office. My dog has been a patient here since we moved to Newaygo 5 years ago. Never have I had an office with 5 vets that have winter hours and close at 5pm every day. Nor have I ever had a vet that when an emergency arrises I am told to drive an hour to get services from a stranger. This is NOT a caring office and they are thinking only of themselves. I worked at a vets office with three vets and they took turns being on call to care for there patients and families at their most vulnerable moments. This was in between there equine and farm services. Sad you could only be there for just vaccines. You will never get my services again. Your hours speak for themselves. I would HIGHLY recommend Cedar Springs for anyone looking for an office willing to help when an emergency arrises. They were able to fit me in to there schedule when my 18 year old dog needed it most and they are open several evenings.

Very friendly staff. I knew my pup would be well taken care of before during and after his surgery. They explain everything very well, and have the best prices for services.

They are a awesome staff that is very educated and they explain things in a way you will understand. The do a great job taking care of your animal and whatever concerns you have and they will explain anything they found and go over treatments or concerns they have about your animal!!!

They have done so much for me it's unbelievable I can't thank them enough for everything they've done for my cats.

Always been kind and very humane with all my cats. My older cats that were very ill they took great care making me and my cats feel at ease before and after not rushing anything which I appreciated. My new cats were treated with the same warmth and care love these people!

They definitely care a LOT about the animals. That's the most important thing, of course -- definitely worth 5 stars for that.
However, I was disappointed that when my dog had diarrhea, it cost a lot of money because they overdid the caution and concern. The extensive testing and interventions caused 2 trips and many treatments before it was resolved. All my dog actually needed was one simple test and an antibiotic. When I tried to suggest that during the first trip, I was overruled by the veterinarian, who said he had colitis, not a bacterial infection (without running a fecal test, which I requested, but was told it wouldn't give the needed information).
The 2nd trip (36 hours later), they insisted it was necessary to perform more extensive fecal testing to determine if he had parasites rather than a bacterial infection. When I asked about starting with the cheaper fecal test, they pushed to do both, saying it would be better to know if there was more going on.
Definitely plan to lay down some sterner boundaries next time...
Also, I just find the whole process more challenging now than it used to be. All the back and forth with prescriptions to try to get a decent price online, etc.

Good place. Cheaper then our normal vet. Lady was straight forward with us and saved us from spending unnecessary money.

We have taken all of our dogs there forever. They're on the pricey side but the way they love our pets is truly priceless. When we lost our 20 year old dog, they mourned with us. When our pup was killed, they handled ALL of it with such tenderness. We received a condolence card with personally written notes from each staff member with our pup's ashes and memorialized paw print. Our latest pup got a paw crushed and they got us in immediately and got her pain under control before we even started talking about numbers. It isn't always about the cost. Sometimes you make choices for your fur babies based on the actual care they receive and NVS goes above and beyond.

The first time was a wonderful time for my puppy BLUE he had bad experience with Sparta Animal Clinic

Always a pleasent experience, the staff is super nice and always does what they can to help and treats your family (pets) with care comfort and respect.

It has been a couple years since I have visited this vet clinic, yet today while talking to my wife I remembered how amazing Dr. Mudie was with our dog and felt a review was necessary. Dr Mudie worked at Town and Country Animal Clinic for years, this is where visited and met Kristina. While there she took amazing care of Max and went above and beyond every visit. Her care for animals was clear by anyone, and was fully exhausted on the care of our deeply loved pet. When we heard she was "drafted" by Newaygo vet services, we obviously blindly followed. Her love and attention for Max was no different, and he had the best possible treatment till he passed. This message if more for Kristina than other reviewers, I just want to thank you. You are everything people wish for when they visit a vet clinic, in a desperate time of need. Max loved you as much as we did, and we can not explain enough of our gratitude for all you have done!

Staff is kind and gentle with animals, but they missed my dogs ear infection and finally diagnosed it a few weeks later.

I made an appointment as a new client. They were able to get my boy in right away to be seen for some spots has grown rapidly in the last couple weeks he also has been having some allergy issues which they gave him medication for.
He has a recheck on the 31st.
I tried getting him into his vet to have Zeppelin seen. and instead of
scheduling, i was told that because he is a boxer and 11 1/2 they could
get him in right away for euthanasia.

I had been bringing my dogs there for over 20 years. We will not be back. They were so quick to write off him off due to age.
Nvs that was informative was compassionate caring and kind to my boy and I am thankful they were able to see him.

Been going here with my dog Mr. Super Neil for about a year and a half. Always friendly, very reasonable pricing. Very flexible. Great staff. They understand that your pets are family and they treat you that way. Love this place.

Sugary sweet overpriced service. Without the service. Never will go there again. Done with them after 10 years of hassles. Only went there because it was close. I'll drive to sparta where they care more about animals than money.

Newaygo veterinary services have been wonderful. They are also very helpful over the phone. I really appreciate this. The vet we had before would always make us bring the animal in. No matter how minor the question/issue. That can get very expensive with office calls!

I'm not sure if it's because I came to this place as a new customer with my 3 small dogs at the onset of the pandemic or not. But I'm not extremely impressed. They often have to be reminded to check records, the immunized my old senior when I asked them not to and they wouldn't do a follow-up with my young girl who had been spayed days before the shut down when there was issue with her stitches. There have been some positives though. They helped me with some nutrition issues, have been able to keep my senior on his heart meds throughout the pandemic, and always follow up. I'm hoping to give them a little more time now that the shut downs are over.

Great staff. Very knowledgeable. They treated both myself and my pet with care and respect.
