New Tardebigge, Restaurant & Bar Review

Lunch today was excellent. Beautiful refurb, clean and tidy toilets. Service was great, very friendly staff, no waiting around. The food was to die for; very, very tasty, dirty fries, best fries I have ever eaten, vegan pitta was superb and nice and hot. Savoured every bite, well done to Rebbeca the chef, you certainly know how to cook girl. I'm even coming back... Tomorrow so my sister can experience how a good pub lunch is served.

Great new look happy helpful staff and the meals and deserts were delicious also toilets are nice and clean will definitely go again !

Its had an amazing refurbishment and the food is excellent the staff are very polite and helpful what more could you ask for!

Enjoyed a delicious meal here. The staff were helpful and friendly with a good menu. I would have liked there to be a pasta choice, but settled for the chicken & ham pie which was tasty. Loving the new decor, beautiful high ceilings made the room feel airy. Government guidelines were adhered to without it feeling uncomfortable. Will definitely visit again.

This has just been done up the food is pricey for what you get the fish was very greasy and the chips were very hard my other half had the burger he said it was ok but wasnt the best for the price he paid. I have been going her for nearly 17 years and they have re done the whole place it's good they have brought it back to it's original but I personally think that he decor is far to much a lil less busy would have been so much better. Mist table and chairs have been kept so aren't in the best condition even thou they have tried to cover the chairs with lists of different pieces of fabric. I wouldn't fo again as the food wasnt upto a standard for the price I paid

Probably one of the tastiest burgers I've had, lamb hotpot my wife had looked nice and she commented on how good it was. Will definitely return on a Tuesday for the 2 4 1 specials.

The car parks are not well signposted. There are separate car parks for ordinary car parking on one side and disabled and family parking on the other. The place itself is lovely, clean and tidy. We intended to have our evening meal there but were told by the young girl who received us (she was dressed rather scruffily in a plucked jumper dress) there were no tables available but we could eat from the bar menu in the bar area. We went into the bar side which was again clean and tidy and had a look at the menu. It was very limited and the prices were EXTORTIONATE! The lady who had received us came to us while we were looking at the menu and told us there was in fact room in the restaurant. After having seen the prices for bar snacks we decided against eating in the restaurant and left.

Fabulous makeover, love the decor, and the ladies room was divine.

The food and customer service is as terrible as the decor...

The food was nice when we got it as it took a while to get it, the waitresses and manager were also nice and aplogetic about the long wait. It just needs a few tweaks to improve the experience.

I was there for Sunday lunch to celebrate the in-laws 50th Wedding Anniversary. Of course, it had to be a Sunday Roast. Just had to be.

From the moment we walked in, we were treated like friends. The waitresses were very friendly and very professional, couldn't do enough for you.

And the food... I had tomato, basil & black olive bruschetta with balsamic syrup to start. Well presented and it tasted so good, even my very picky 10 year old liked it when he had a taste.

I followed that with a garlic and rosemary marinated chicken with the usual Sunday roast accompaniments. The serving size was spot on but it was so good I could have eaten it again.

I finished with a red Berry sorbet which was absolutely gorgeous.

They had a fully stocked bar with craft ales from a variety of places including the relatively local brewery, Purity. Unfortunately, I was driving so couldn't enjoy them, but the beers I saw others have suggested The Tardebigge know how to keep such beers at their best.

All in all, an excellent Sunday lunch and I definitely go back... when it's the wife's turn to drive!

If you're in the area, try it. We'll recommended.

Went there a week ago for a birthday and had a bottomless brunch for the two of us. The staff were very friendly and attentive and went over and above to make the birthday extra special.

Excellent Bar/Restaurant it has been refurbished to a very high standard. This place is much needed as nothing between Redditch and Bromsgrove. We've used it a few times now and wish them every success

Spacious and attractive building within. Staff will take your temperature on arrival, and the NHS app QR code is on display to sign in with. Reduced menu for Covid. Good service and food.

Beautiful decor and atmosphere, a party of 3 , we were not overly impressed with food. Ladies Toilets are very pink and sparkly but no toilet roll at 7pm in the evening.
Good selections for vegans and vegetarians though.
Great place for a drink.
Would i return? For drinks yes...for food... maybe to get another viewpoint

Nicely done out after reopening, the food was ok but surprisingly took a long time to come even though not very busy. Staff were friendly. Go give them a try for yourself and support.

A lovely meal at the Tardebigge last night with great company. Food fantastic, very friendly and approachable staff with great attitude. A huge thank you to Patrick and Francesca for all your hard work in making the tardebigge a huge success.

Refreshing decor and great Staff our server was very attentive and pleasant. Now the food, the menu promised more but the result was disappointing. I had sirloin steak and probably the worst I have ever attempted to eat, it would of been easier to eat my shoe.
If you are hungry then this is not the place for you as the portions are small and not in line with the prices.

Again Staff very very nice bright and friendly. We won t return which is a shame because it s a nice atmosphere.

1st visit since being changed. Good covid measures. Friendly staff and good service. Menu is back from what it was, but a good choice and really tasty. Good drinks choice too. Will visit again.

Decor is wonderful BUT
the food is what you would find in every other pub
They have spent a lot of mo ey on doing it out but nothing on the menu and a few more veggies on the plate would be welcome
Hubby ordered the sausages which he said were nice I had thr duck but the vanilla mash looked like it had stood for a whe and the small portion of Asian slaw was not right for the dish my daughter had the chicken and again more veg would have been good
The choice of puddings were standard and the coffee was small for the price

I will forgive the long wait time, it is eat out time still and covid restrictions do not help speedy service. Staff were lovely though and were clearly under pressure.

The food was not great. The chicken ramen was cold and was not well made. The kofte was dry and the dirty fries were just horrid.

On the plus, the chicken pie was good and my son loved his chicken goujons.

All in all it was mediocre food wise. I may try again when they are not busy and try the burgers which did look very tasty.

This was my first visit since it has re-opened and on arrival I was really impressed with the new fresh decor.

Pretty good food for not too awful prices but the waiters and waitresses weren't smart or professional at all and they didn't seem to have much idea who was covering which table, and also forgot a few orders.

A great venue to spend an hour or two. We had a lovely meal which was well prepared and beautifully presented. The staff were well trained and attentive without imposing. The building had been tastefully refurbished, it needed to be! I hope "The Tardebigge" maintains the level of business it needs, it deserves to be viable.
