I live in a retirement high-rise building in N.R. I have discovered that a visit to this library is beneficial to my complete outlook on life. I am able to utilize all levels and services on all the floors. As I do not have a printer at home, I am glad that I can use the computers and others machines here. The only concern I have is that sometimes when the tables on teen floor are full with teenagers, they get loud and seem to be more about having a loud get-together than applying themselves to a study group. The talking and laughing carries all the way to the top level. This makes it difficult to concentrate on a project while sitting at a table upstairs. It would be nice if staff were to monitor the groups to maintain more decorum. Regardless, I truly enjoy the building assets, free programs, the courtyard out front, and of course, the BOOKS.

There's limited browsing opportunities and computer access. Borrow books using the website, put on hold and then come for curbside pickup. Always call ahead to make sure they're open, especially with the midday closure for deep cleaning. I thank them for the great job they're doing!

This library is truly the hub of the community and should be a model for all other libraries. (I'm raising my eyebrows at you NYPL). Curated art exhibits, Zimbabwe and yoga classes, learn needlepoint, take computer lessons, get tax help, go see live music and dance. This library is so much more than the extensive book collection. There is a teen center complete with couch. The children's area is a beacon for young imaginations. The Library Friends operate a used bookstore that is open Tuesday and Thursday 10 to 4. Saturday 10 to 2. There is a great Farmers Market in the attached park. Spring through fall. There is so much to experience here and I'm always excited to see how busy it is.

Very noisy, it seem like it's everyone's hangout(the homeless, mothers with children...) and the parking is a paying parking which make it a lot more complicated. The staff is pretty good at maintaining order beside the noise.

I lived in downtown New Ro right across from the library for years when I was little. Some of my earliest memories come from playing on the Library Green or checking out a book from its immense collection. Whenever I go back, I see the emergence of a new generation of children, technology, and learning. Highly recommend!!

This is a terrific library, with knowledgeable and helpful staff, and wonderful art exhibits in the gallery. They offer many services to the community as well as performances in their lovely theater.

This is a library I am happy to recommend. Why? Since today you don't see libraries like this like you used to. I know today libraries are not as popular as they used to be, and this is even a better reason to recommend and support.

Its a big library with lots of book collections. Its has huge park right outside. Childrens' section is also big. For adults there is a separate second floor to read. They organize many events like story telling, dance performances. I like the art section where you will find different art collection every month. Recently they have installed self check out kiosks. The only thing I don't like about this library is that book returning window is very outdated. There is a a drop box without scanner. I once dropped a book and they said they haven't received it and I had no proof that I returned and I end up paying the cost of that book. So you should always return to the library person rather than thr drop box.

It's a great library. People are really friendly and there is huge collection of books and DVDs. I love spending my evenings and weekends there. But the only thing is that it's not a quiet milieu. Even the quiet sections are not so quiet..kids are screaming n nobody stops them.
