Nice little authentic barn converted into a playhouse. Run only in the Summer. RSVP is a must.

We go there once a summer with friends. The shows are very well done. Great small town ambience.

I go with my friend once a year for our Birthdays and have throughly enjoyed every play and musical. The actors have all be amazing. Cant wait till next year!

To small. The person who was directly in front of me would not stay still and because the seats are on 1 level it really was annoying. I don't think I would ever go back.

A true New London institution. They do such a great job in the most intimate of settings. It's the way theater should be. A great family activity!

We saw the Junior Interns production of Beauty and the Beast and it was fantastic! So well done. Definitely buy your tickets ahead of time, our seats were not very good because I waited too long. We missed a few things happening at the back of the stage since we were seated way to the side.

Great play 'Murder for Two'. Huge laughs. Highly recommend.

Be careful about the seat you purchase. We have paid full price two different times only to see partial stage. Also, the last show Above the Pub, my 84 year old mother fell through an 18" deep spacing between the riser and the level in front of us. The patrons sitting near the spacing, did not make any attempt to allow her to go to her seat until she dropped into the space all the way up to her knee or better. There was no indication the dead space was there, nor warnings from the ushers. So beware a $34 ticket doesn't mean a good seat or safe journey to one.

What a special place! A small, intimate venue with some of the most talented actors I've ever seen. A true gem in the community, and a fantastic way to spend an evening!

Have been going here for years; quality of performances is quite high and it's amazing what they can fit onto a relatively small stage.

Quaint old barn where for 87 consecutive summer seasons they have had fabulous shows including 2019's Beauty and the Beast.

Great experiences every time we come! NLBT enjoys very advanced casts and production resources for such a small community theatre. I come from Salisbury, NC where I used to be the manager at their Black Box Theatre (now Lee St. Theatre). The highly-rated theatre arts program at our local Catawba College gives our community a very rich pool of talent to draw from, but I know what sorts of challenges are involved with successfully delivering a consistently solid performance, even if you have access to some of the industry's best and brightest. It shows a highly adept management and staff that can wield limited resources effectively, as well as solve problems and meet challenges creatively. It also highlights how special the people and businesses are who support and attend the performances at the New London Barn Theatre, generously investing both their time and money in this wonderful place. Thanks for everything you do!

Don't take any pictures of the set before the show starts! I think one of the ladies wanted to murder me for taking a picture of the set. The show was amazing. This is totally worth going to if your visiting.

New London Barn Playhouse has built a reputation for selecting only top notch talent to be an apprentice in this summer theater.

A great place to catch a show, although there is always heavy traffic when shows start and end.

We had a summer night ball and there is ample air conditioning.

The biggest little stage I've ever seen! Everything about the play was spot on, the choreography, the vocals, the sets and the casting. 5 stars are not really enough. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
