It's a great place that provides a variety of services to the guests and the community.

OFF THE BEATEN PATH... WORTH THE TRIP TO THE THRIFT STORE.. PICK UP ONE OF THEIR EVENT CALENDARS.. SPECIALS EVERYDAY OF THE WEEK.. ESPECIALLY THE $10 FILL UP BAG.. YOU GET A BIGG BAG TO FILL.

I love the food there and people are nice . My boyfriend stay there and he seems to like it. But you have to pay them to stay there and it is $7.00 a day

Great place.. always willing to help if you're willing to accept.. some aren't quite ready to accept yet... but give it a chance you might like to results.....

Very kind and loving. You don't have to be homeless to eat there. I was just tight on money and ate there. If you feel bad then donate a few hours of your time.

Close to a bus stop and thrift store. But if you want to see american dysfunction at its best come here people coughing constantly I think there is a problem with TB. They have educated grown men sitting unemployed in chairs while little girls sit in in the offices. The ones at the front desk are rude and racist too. Its good that they get people out of the cold but I don't think the $800,000 they raised this winter will be put to good use.

Got a good sense equality for all in the first few minutes. That rapidly vanished as i experienced harsh judgments in the name if "trying to portray a forgiving, loving, unbiased Christian workplace" that in actuality and in plain sight it was only saying that, but not acting it. Also was told by the thrift store coordinator that I'd recieve a call in 2 days...which i never did get. I will NOT shop there again. Ever.

1pm till 3pm is Happy hour. Means 50 percent off everything. Awesome staff. Very helpful.

I stayed here for a year and it is probably the very best I have ever stayed in the staff are dedicated to help you with your troubles, very LOVING , very clean and my God the food is fantastic !!!! If I could give more I would...

I'm extremely disappointed in New Life staffs ability to display professionalism. Especially by a staff member that goes by the name of Ben. He carries himself and speaks in a way that is not benefitting of his position as a first impression of the establishment that you are running. He should be tucked away somewhere he would not be able to interact with possible residents. He was extremely rude, did not seem to care, disorganized, and it almost seemed as though he was joking around about the situation my friend was in. It was a mistake to try and help my friend get a bed at this establishment. If you are looking for a temporary residence, look elsewhere. This place was ridiculous.

Retracting all my stars this place only helps those who have money to spend here . And if your not working you have to work for them at least 2 hours a day . Their staff makes their own rules that have nothing to do with the policy of the shelter . Most of the residents here have been here for years and working full time or temp jobs. I have been sleeping outside in the cold in my car for the last past week . Tried to get a shower tonight but i got to have a bed here in order to use the facilitys if you can get a bed but if you got a sleeping bag maybe . When their open 24 hours a day to the public . This place really does nothing but wast peoples time especially those who just recently been on the street. I have seen them turn people down just by their appearance.

There should absolutely be no reason to not give a place that helps people in need, anything less than a five star rating! I have a family member that has used the services of this shelter and I would like to say thank you for the help that you do and have given everyone and for anyone who has something negative to say they obviously don't understand the meaning of generosity and community! So whether you're a volunteer or have been hired on as an employee to work here , Hold your head up high be proud of the job that you have. Because helping transform another person's life should leave you feeling nothing less than humble!

Really not much help a little but some of staff act like they don't care

Its clean, 3 meals a day a place to sleep and bathe.

The only downside is it is NOT free to stay here. This is one of its best qualities and CAN be its worst.

Charging money weeds out the leeches who WANT to be homeless and sap off of valuable resources.

It cost $7 per day to stay here. They won't refuse you if you are broke, you can either work a chore, or place it on your tab.

Warning:
If your tab exceeds $35 they will ask you to leave until you pay it down.

Nowhere should be free to stay.

Love the heart of this mission. Been fun to work with them to continue to try to serve the dental needs of our community.

Here I sit listening to people in the front lobby a man was just kicked out cause he fell behind in rent they charge 7 dollars a day which is cheap but there are people that can't afford that even though this place is Christian based it's a dirty shame if Christs people are willing to turn a tired and weary man I don't want nothing to do with that what about compassion then they have the odacity to ask for donations hmmmmmmmmmmm......I think most of these people that give good ratings are currently staff or we're staff.....

Was an awesome place, and I was grateful because I didn't have to spend Thanksgiving alone

Was able to take a tour of this past the other day. It is a homeless shelter and is very nice way nicer that the salvation army
