New Kensington Sanitary Authority Review

I have been a customer for the last year. Upon ending my lease and moving to the same area I had no choice but to get services with this water company again. Upon transferring Services they made me submit a new application and pay a whole new security deposit they would not return my old security deposit to me as they explained it goes towards your last month's bill. Upon paying the security deposit and submitting all paperwork required they still did not turn on my service so upon moving into our new home myself my boyfriend and my children have no water service I am not from New Kensington and I'm highly disappointed in everything in this area especially this water company.

I am trying to get my water turned on and they are asking a 310 deposit. I told them sure I can do that, do you take partial payments? Wouldn't let me speak to her superior and being on disability due to a stroke they won't even work with me.

Closing on a house and tried to get water switched into my name. Had to go and do everything in person. Had the signed sellers agreement on my phone. Refused to look at it unless it was emailed to them. So I went to email it and the email that was given to me was invalid. They couldn't even give me a valid email address! Then I was told I would have to return after I closed with the signed papers! Extremely inflexible and not at all helpful!

Never called in did not receive a bad attitude on the other end

Same problem the other person is complaining about. After billing and disconnection date I was owed $150+ deposit. They refused to honor my deposit refund claiming billing that didn't exist, changing there story numerous times with people that work there. This company is openly committing fraud and theft.You will not get your water deposit back from these people they will do whatever they can to keep it even if it means lieing about payments etc.

Thieves. Very unprofessional and not upfront. We paid over $300 to get services activated. Then requested service to be disconnected by 12-3-18. After we had moved out, they said the deposit would pay what's left of our bill, if there was additional then we would get the final owed. We now get a letter saying we owe a whole bill period, and they're trying to get us for $300+ now saying the deposit only covered ONE bill. Leaving half the deposit not being used or sent back.
