Simple, unpretentious atmosphere. Friendly service. They bring a basket of cornbread to the table when you're served - nice alternative to rolls. Specials' prices are very reasonable. My sister and I ate there recently, and had the clam chowder as an appetizer - pretty good. We were allowed to split a chicken nuggets lunch platter, which we love at this restaurant. We got 10-12 large crispy-coated nuggets, nothing like they serve at fast food restaurants. You get a choice of two sides, so we got fries and onion rings. So sharing one lunch plate was plenty of food for the two of us. We really like this place, and definitely will go back to try the seafood, if we can force ourselves to order something other than the chicken nuggets!
