Coming from a sports background and not having that much experience, I was a little nervous even applying for the position. Being new on the job market I knew that I had to be a little open minded, and I'm glad that I was. I came into New Acquisitions and was taught everything I needed to know in what seemed like a 2 week training process. Don't get me wrong, I still learn from those over me every single day and soak up all of the advice/knowledge that they can provide me with. But New Acquisitions has thoroughly taught and trained on me on entry level sales, marketing, advertising, and even how to provide exceptional customer service skills. It's a very team driven company and they like to keep the atmosphere very upbeat to match their success rate. I've seen 2 promotions since I started and it drives me to get to the same place.

Job posting advertised a salary between 35,000-50,000 + commission. Also said that they offered full benefits. Went in for the interview and there was a pay range from $9-10 an hour + commission and no benefits. No transparency at all and looks as if they are just trying to get people in the door. I would advise to be 100% honest from the get go versus what y all got going on right now. Cool people just 100% lack of transparency.

I worked for New Acquisitions for a few months. Great people, I've made great connections from here as well. The training in the mornings is really good especially the support that you get as a team. Everyday you're learning. Thanks to these guys I AM A BEAST at sales now. The hours were extremely long for me and I had other inspirations, that's why I moved on.

Amazing company it seems. Website was easy to understand. The business looks young and energetic and from what I read seems to focus a lot on personal and professional growth which many companies do not do. I was pleased to see that on display from the beginning

I'm soooo glad I read these reviews before attending even my first interview with them, which is scheduled for tomorrow. The reason I decided to Google them is because I attended two interviews just yesterday who are pretty much in the same line of business. Why do these types of companies do this? Why do they intentionally mislead people in applying for a specific position but pull something completely different once you arrive? There are people who work in sales and don't mind doing it. There are people who have no experience and are looking for an opportunity to make some money. I, however, am a real professional who is looking for a real job with a real salary. I found this job on Zip Recruiter. Based on my experience with recruiting on Zip Recruiter when i was in business for myself, they are not cheap at all. Packages, at least at the time i was in business, start at $500!!! Why pay all of that money to false advertise positions and attract people who aren't even interested in working for you? Why spend time trying to lure people into your company who are completely uninterested? It's a waste of time, money and company resources. Also, if you have a product or service you're not proud to properly represent in any way, why be in business? Seriously, what are you doing?! It's simply not logical!!! Cancel my interview for tomorrow because you will not see me. Good luck going forward.

Blown away by the support I was given when I started here. My trainer took me out to lunch the first day an laid out a game plan for getting me promoted. I wasn't great when I started out but I have been here for about 3 months and now I am a leader in the office and training others!!

Love working here! I had never had any experience in marketing when I first started this job but the training program is so comprehensive I was well taken care of. I wouldn't recommend this position if you are shy and not looking to take charge. I have made working for New acquisitions my career, not just a 9-5 job to pay the bills.

Transparent, genuine, and professional marketing firm in Atlanta. They go above and beyond to make you feel at home...supportive, uplifting, and motivated group of young people. With a goal in sight, expectations are clear. Working hard comes naturally with such an example from management. Also being involved in giving back to the community, they keep an interactive and fun company culture. Their open door policy shows their care for their employees and strength in development. So glad that I found New Acquisitions.

My experience at New Acquisitions has been nothing short of amazing. I know that the sky is the limit for me to grow, and I've never experienced that anywhere else. I started about 6 months ago on the entry level side of marketing and sales, until I was offered a position that I never thought I'd be doing on the Human Resources team. I was a little nervous stepping foot into a position that I'd never experienced- but everyone was/has been so helpful to guide the way. I'll never stop learning from this group, and I cannot wait to see what the future holds with my career.

I pretty much came into the interview with little to no management or marketing experience. They were willing to train me and give me all the necessary tools to be successful. On my interview they laid out exactly what I needed to be responsible for and couldn't have been more accurate and helpful in working with me to get there. I appreciate all the time the management team has given to me and I am excited to see my personal growth within the next few months/years.

An amazing corporate culture based on work ethic and innovation. My opinion has always been valued and I've learned a ton about marketing and advertising. They understand that learning things in a classroom is much different than implementing it in real life, so they give tons of hands-on training and they push you to go outside of your comfort zone on a daily basis.

This company is an off shoot of parent company Smart Circle International which in the past has gone by other names such as DS Max and Innovage. New Acquistions is in a network of hundreds of other offices that all basically do the same thing. You start off entry level sales at or slightly above minimum wage and as you recruit and build a team you can eventually become an owner of your own office, except most people never make it to that point. It's a classic Multi Level marketing scheme. If youre thinking about working here I highly recommend doing research on Smart Circle first.

*Update*: I realize this company doesn't meet the technical definition of an MLM because employees are paid hourly and dont have to purchase the products or services they're selling. However everything else including the buisness model is the exact same.

Went for an interview, person I met with was sweet and kind but not punctual at all. I waited over 40 minutes from my interview time. The interview was mainly talking about the company s tier system of promotion and we didn t touch on any questions I had specifically. Instead he stated he would want to see me for a second interview to further discuss that. The interview lasted about twenty minutes, and although he was enthusiastic about me coming back for a second interview I have not heard from them.. the location was in a nice area in office suites rented out by a company at The Battery which I liked because there s restaurants nearby and shops at walking distance. Overall the my first impression was that the company was not very organized or professional although kind and pleasant to talk with.

I originally chose this because of the positive vibes and inspiration I felt during the interview process. It requires a strong work ethic and dedication, if you are ready to build your career, start here!

I recently left New Acquisitions to pursue my dream in acting, and have nothing but good things to say. They were more than willing to write a recommendation letter and Morgan even spoke with my current employer as a reference. I honestly believe that one of my best experiences in the work place was with New Acquisitions. Friendly environment, fast paced, and pretty laid back. Being in an atmosphere with folks around my age, all learning to grow and develop themselves really gave me the confidence that I needed to excel at New Acquisitions. I received my first promotion after only a month and a half and it was all due to what I was taught and my drive to apply it everyday. "Sales" wasn't my cup of tea and I was terrified to fail, but I'm so happy to be carrying the experience with me into my next position.

They told me I would start at Costco or Direct TV making about 10 a hour selling to people then I would be promoted to another level within the company. The company did not seem that horrible, I just could not take a pay cut that low starting off. The hierarchy seems reasonable depending on how much work you put in yourself. I was told that weekends are mandatory as well.

Wish I could have stayed here longer. My internship is about to end but I am glad I put work in here this past summer. I just recently got promoted to a role where I get to train and was put more into a leadership role. So my biggest take away in a few months was the sales experience and little bit of leadership training. After school is over I would love to come back and pursue management because all I was able to experience was the entry level side! Thanks

Our medical practice would appreciate it if your employees would wear a mask when in the Palisade building C. Management has signs posted throughout the building to wear a mask but your employees don't. Large groups of twenty year old's congregate in the building lobby area on a daily basis without masks. By not wearing masks, your employees are endangering our patients, many of which are older than sixty years old. I don't know if you guys are making a political statement but it is irresponsible to put others at risk of getting Covid -19.

Been here for a few weeks now. One of the reasons I accepted this positions is due to the training that I was told on the interview that I would receive, with that being said, the management and training team have held true on that statement. After college I was looking for a position that I could grow in, not just "work in", and with the advancement opportunities offered here I have found that. My favorite part about the company is that the management team will actually lay out what is expected and required in order to advance to the next position within the company. As far as negatives, hard work is a requirement here but as a 23yr old coming out of college I would rather it this way.

Let me be very clear and honest so hopefully peopl...

Let me be very clear and honest so hopefully people seeking to join New Acquisitions are not confused on what to expect when coming to check reviews on the company. I recently stopped working with New Acquisitions as of 12/27/2017. Let me be clear as to why. Not because they scammed me, not because they lied to me, not because they gave me false expectations. I left solely due to the long periods of time i was away from my family.

This company is more so geared towards someone who does not have a lot of things to hold them back meaning you are able to drop anything you are doing at the drop of a hat or extremely flexible. That being said....New Acquisitions has been NOTHING BUT GOOD to me. When they tell you that there is opportunity to grow and own your own business and open up your own office in the time frame of 6-8 months, it is COMPLETELY TRUE. I started with New Acquisitions in May. At first i was not too fond of the idea of having to sell cable, home improvement materials or a variety of different things, but with learning this business you have to be expected to do the grunt work if you want to be put in a position of leadership.

Why would you take orders or be lead by someone who has not been or done what they are asking of you? I wouldn't and you probably wouldn't either unless your are just a sheep who's only purpose is to be directed. This 6-8 month time frame is to train, mold and test you for being in the position to lead others and successfully run your own office/business. If you cant then you aren't cut out for it. Now to explain what New Acquisitions gave me.

Not only within about 1-3 months did I get promoted, but I received a opportunity to build a program from the ground up. There were several other people that had been there longer than I had, performed better than me as far as sales, and honestly could relate better to Zach and Adam than I could (and for those of you who hadn't noticed..i'm black so it wasn't because I was white if you were thinking that). Not only was I the only person there in that office that had multiple children and married, but I also am a Veteran with PTSD and they could've easily chose someone more flexible and easier to manage, but they didn't. I was sent to several different states and met a lot of great people and received a lot of great training. I was automatically in a position of opening my own office and starting my own business.

There were ups and downs with starting a new program but if you know the business then you know that is to be expected. Not only did they guarantee me pay weekly of $800+ regardless of weather or not we made any sales or not, they often met with me in person when i had issues or doubts or anything. I was one of their top salesmen and was an important part of the program. Even when I left the company, they welcomed me back and offered me another position in the company rather than just let me go. I LEFT THE COMPANY specifically because they gave me a opportunity to open my own office and build my own company but i couldn't handle being away from my family as I had already done that enough while i was deployed in the army for nearly 10 years.

So to wrap this up..New Acquisitions isn't lying to you, deceiving you or just trying to use you for their own "evil agenda" as others would have you believe. Unless you actually work with the company for a time, you honestly have no right to say anything about them. As to my experience with New Acquistions..I wish i had met them earlier in my life where i would have had no one to worry about but myself and my fiance at the time. Yet to see how far I had gotten with 10+ years of marriage and 3 very young children in a business such as this, I'd say I did damn well and I couldn't have been able to say that If Zack or Adam hadn't taken that chance on me. So if you are thinking about working for New Acquisitions and wondering if this is all "too good to be true", then I hope this review helps clear some of these negative comments ups. I wish you guys the best and hope to see you in the future!

Very Sweet and uplifting people.. I worked there for only a month but the warmth you feel from them is not fake at all. The training sessions are cool & makes you feel as your an "adult" because your made to dress absolutely professional and teacher others what you've learned. When my child care situation came up they were very understanding and even through me a small bonus until I was able to find work again. I would def recommend them especially if you are sales professional ..

I've been with New Acquisitions for a few months and have really enjoyed the challenge and opportunity of progressing as an MIT. My background and experience previously is in culinary arts and that initially made me question how successful, or how quickly I could be successful with New Acquisitions, but the team has helped me learn the necessary skills. I appreciate the team and the training structure at the company for how professional and friendly it is. It was hard to see myself in this line of work starting out, but I find satisfaction in being able to teach and train new representatives how to manage our client's accounts. After a lot of hard, but gratifying work, I have the opportunity to manage my own team. I am very excited to see how much more success I can find with this company.

My entire experience at New Acquisitions was prett...

My entire experience at New Acquisitions was pretty over the top I would say. After I spoke with Morgan on the phone, I wanted to dig a little deeper into what this company was all about. Having read some of the reviews online, I was a little skeptical walking into my first interview.

When I walked in, Morgan referred me to check in with Makaela. As I waited to be called back for my interivew, I was able to chat with Makaela and her own experience at New Acquisitions. It definitely eased the "pre-interview nerves" and gave me a really good idea of how the interview would go as well. After sitting down with Drake, I was eager for 3:00 when Morgan would call me back for a second interview.

To my luck I was called back for a second interview where I met with a "corporate trainer" and was able to shadow what my typical day would look like. The third interview is right after the second and it's pretty much just to sum things up and ask any last minute questions.

Let me finish by saying that New Acquisitions was the most smooth sailing and laid back interview process that I've been apart of, and I can say that just mirrors their company as well. I was offered the position and have been here for about 3 weeks. From the start, Adam and the team made me feel at home and I've really been able to be myself. My first day wasn't nerve racking and stomach turning, I was almost overly excited to get started. I've learned so much in the last 3 weeks and every day is more motivation to push me to management. I cannot wait to hopefully be in Adam's position one day and pass down the opportunity that they have given me.

SCAM! Do not work here.

SCAM! Do not work here.
Do not bother interviewing.

They are preying on young, inexperienced, fresh-from-college individuals who think this is a legitimate, entry-level marketing job.

Look into the reviews on Glassdoor, and be aware of the clusters of timeframes they were completed in.

If you want to set up tables at Walmart and try to sell people floor cleaner, carry on, but do not be fooled.

ETA: If you would truly like a look,in to how they respond to these kinds of complaints, read some of their responses to thoughtful reviews on here.

Further ETA: I interviewed with this company many months ago, and I am honestly unsure of what location I was in -- the second interview was in a major retail chain, and part of the interview was in the Subway (I truly do believe it was Walmart).
This company is based on lies.
Also, a part of the demonstration WAS selling a floor-cleaning stain removing spray.

Of course I am biased, but as one of the local managers and directors of operation here at New Acquisitions, I have enjoyed taking on more responsibility moving from a smaller market into the Atlanta, GA territory. Beginning my career with our 50 location test market in Northern California, it has been rewarding seeing the projects national expansion, which now includes 400+ locations. I can already see our local and national clientele are more than excited with our work. We are now looking for continued growth not only with our portfolio but more importantly our employees.

New Acquisitions has given me more experience and opened my eyes more than I believe I would've gotten anywhere else. Right out of college, with little to no experience I was really looking for a company to get my foot in the door. The only marketing knowledge that I'd acquired was just from my college courses. I wanted something with a laid back environment but high expectations, team atmosphere, and of course to learn as much as I possible could. I've been with New Acquisitions for a few months and still learn something new every day and held to a certain standard. I've participated in team nights, charity events, and even sports/dinners with coworkers. The cross training that I've received has helped me grow not only professionally, but personally as well. I cannot thank the company enough for the opportunity and really hope to be paying it forward one day.

This is a strategy to retain and hire highly qualified people at a very low paying salary. This is simply a job to stand in the middle of a grocery store and sell cable. This is not something that an adult college graduate with a family and real bills can't afford to do. This is a position that they can actually give to a kid fresh out of high school or a summer job type deal not as an actual career.

PROS:

PROS:
- This is definitely an opportunity business. There are not many companies that you can start as entry-level and in less than a year be upper-level management.
- Quite the comprehensive training program. You're given all the tools to succeed on every level of the business.
- Unlimited earning potential and resources to continually move further in the business.
- The only business I've been a part of that upper-level management is at your disposal when you may need guidance. (Open door policy).
- Incredible growth opportunity. It is hard work and requires your time, but if you're willing to sacrifice for your career, this is the opportunity you're looking for.

CONS:
- It demands a lot of your time; however, if you are willing to sacrifice for the sake of building a sustainable career, this is a golden opportunity.

ADVISE TO MANAGEMENT:
- Continue to prioritize the people in the office. It is the genuine care to understand who your people are and what's important to them that motivates me to give my all to a company that has my best interests in mind.

"Interned" at New Acquisitions, Summer of 2019

"Interned" at New Acquisitions, Summer of 2019

Pros: Nice front office staff and good location if you live around the North Atlanta area.

Cons: If you are a college student looking for an ACTUAL marketing, communications, or PR internship or apprenticeship, STAY AWAY. The way that they market their jobs/ internships opportunities will say something along the lines of "marketing coordinator, customer relations, [insert industry related job title here] internship," tell you there is opportunity for growth to managerial positions and that you will be working in the office with a bit of travel thrown in. Sounds great right? Well, what they don't tell you, is that the "bit of travel" is going to a Sam's Club, a Costco, or another superstore and selling Direct TV or AT&T at a booth. This is exactly what happened to me last summer, and was a complete waste of time. I quit after a week and a half along with half of the other "interns" that they conned into this type of position.

To job searchers and fellow college students: Don't go this route. They are nice people trying to make a living, I'll say that. However, the living they are making is far from honest. DO NOT GO HERE FOR AN INTERNSHIP, you will waste your precious, limited time that you have in college.

To New Acquisitions: Please be honest about your job advertising. I get that it is hard to bring in talent to do this type of work, but please do not waste the time of college students looking to go into an actual marketing, communication, or PR field. I'm sure you will respond to this with a "we are sorry to hear that! But, here is how you are wrong..." type of response. I'm not wrong, and I hope that whoever reads this won't have the same lies and false reasoning to try and convince your possible applicants and yourselves that what you are doing is right and reasonable.

Also, I left a Glassdoor review, saying I was promised professional marketing and digital media internship experience from you that I never got and never would have gotten if I worked there that whole summer. You replied with "digital media internships don't exist, as far as we know." Feel free to check my resume for the actual digital media experience I got after leaving your company, and it goes to show how much your management lies to young professionals.
