Very difficult to get in and out because of the traffic. Parking area is inconveniently located since shop proximity is very far from parking lot. Challenging to find what you're looking for. A lot of the folks here are just strolling cramming the mall.

It is one of the top 10 famous & largest shopping malls in the world. It has everything you need. I'd been to Dubai Mall a couple of times, but the SM Mall of Asia (commonly called as MOA) is quite different in terms of ambience because MOA is located in the Philippines which has a tropical climate. Just like in other malls, MOA has a huge grocery store, boutiques, lots of restaurants & coffee shops, fitness gyms, convention center, entertainment places, banks, movie houses, etc.. Also the Conrad Hotel is located within MOA's premises. If you're going to MOA & youre not taking you own car, public transportation is readily available (taxi, grab, jeepneys, angkas, bus & mini vans)

Love this huge and sprawling sea side mall. It has everything! Groceries, restaurants, coffeeshops, bookstores, fashion outlets, pet stores, movies, a skating rink..... and you can bring your dogs - they are allowed to be walked in the open areas of the mall. The only thing is on weekends there are SO MANY PEOPLE so if you don't like crowds, it's best to go there

A biggest mall of all Asia. You can't say any words about "SM Mall of Asia" untill you visited this place by yourself.

A sprawling seaside mall with lots of shops and a variety of good eating places. It can get really crowded though, especially on weekends and holidays. And with always ongoing additions and renovations, looking for shops can get confusing.

I would not recommend heels on this mall. It's huge place and therefore expect alot of walking. Better have comfortable footwear on.

Everything is here. Korean stores? Department store? Supermarket? Cinema? Park? A place to drink. Anything you can think for is accessible plus the beach view is nice.

A very big area and connected by many small malls. There is security check when you walk in and out the malls. Many people in this mall and many local restaurants. Can stay here for one whole day ! Many taxi waiting. If you call grab, make sure your location as there are many exits here!

It's a large, REALLY LARGE mall. Vast number of restaurants and cafes. Just don't come here when its hot and humid. Unless you wanna lose 2 pounds from sweating profusely while shopping inside shops with poor HVAC.

great

SM Mall of Asia, also abbreviated as SM MoA or sim...

SM Mall of Asia, also abbreviated as SM MoA or simply MoA, is a large shopping mall in Bay City, Pasay, Philippines, near the SM Central Business Park, the Manila Bay, and the southern end of Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA).

Owned and developed by SM Prime Holdings, the largest mall chain owner and developer in the Philippines, it has a land area of 67 hectares (170 acres), a gross floor area of approximately 432,891 m2 (4,659,600 sq ft), and offers 46,647 m2 (502,100 sq ft) for conventions and social functions. The area attracts a daily average foot traffic of about 200,000 people.

It is currently the fourth largest shopping mall in the Philippines and the fourteenth in the world. When it opened in 2006 it was the largest shopping mall in the Philippines until SM City North EDSA was redeveloped in 2008, and was relegated to third place by the expansion of SM Megamall from 2011 to 2015 when SM Seaside City Cebu opened to the public before returning to this spot in 2017.

Following the mall's opening in 2006, it caused several smaller shopping malls nearby to close, such as Pearl Plaza and Uniwide Coastal Mall both in Paranaque.

The mall is the centerpiece project of SM Prime at the SM Central Business Park, where five one-story buildings serve as the company's corporate offices (the sixth building being occupied by TeleTech Holdings, Inc. as their flagship site in the country).

The SM Mall of Asia's design team includes Arquitectonica, design architect; Architect Robert Carag Ong, Architect of Record, GHT Services, project manager, and Hilmarc's Construction Corp. (for the South Parking Building, Main Mall, and Entertainment Mall), and Monolith Construction Development Corp. (for the North Parking Building), general contractors.[citation needed]

The mall would have opened before Christmas Day of 2005 but had been delayed due to hitches in the delivery of construction materials. Frequent rains in the last quarter of 2005 also delayed the turnover of mall space to tenants. SM Prime decided to move the opening date to March 3, 2006.[citation needed]

On February 27, 2006, local newspaper Manila Standard Today, reported that a team of Pasay City engineers found huge cracks underneath the structure, which was causing the structure to vibrate. When questioned about the inspection, the Pasay City Engineering Department denied making any statement regarding defects in the Mall of Asia. Engineer Edwin Javaluyas, Pasay City engineering officer, in his letter to SM Prime Holdings Inc., said he never stated that the city hall's engineering department inspected the Mall of Asia on February 23, 2006.

SM Prime, however, decided to move the opening to May 21 of that year. Jeffrey Lim, corporate information officer of SM Prime Holdings, emphasized that a rescheduling of the mall's opening was made to give the company an opportunity to allow more tenants to open shops and denied that the change was due to structural defects.

The mall was officially inaugurated by President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo with a special screening of Everest in the San Miguel Coca-Cola IMAX Theater. The movie was shown three days after Philippine tri-athlete Leo Oracion reached the treacherous mountain's summit.

Huge shopping mall but for parents with kids its such a hassle. They dont offer a place where you can change diapers or breastfeed. Yes there's a breasfeeding station but there's only one for the entire mall to think that the mall is divided into 3 huge wings. I hope they could also offer a breastfeeding and diaper changing station for each wing.

Huge mall, thousands of shops both inside & out. Lots of decorations. Lots of food. Although there is a bus be prepared to walk a lot. Even has an amusement park. Currently there are 3 cinemas (4-6) that are out for renovation so fewer movies than usual.

Poorly designed -- mix of indoor and outdoor shops, which would have been great if it were not hot and humid in the country.

This mall is half indoor and half outdoor. Everytime you want to go inside, you have to go through security checks. You have to go outside to go to a different part of the mall. Very confusing, like a maze. But I like the food and shops at this mall!
