When I was here they gave me improper care for my type one diabetes they did not give me my triceba (long lasting insulin) at all and just gave me fast acting which the long lasting is what gives full affect for the fast acting and my blood sugar ran high the whole time here they would not let my father or mother bring me what I have at home I had originally sought out help for drugs and it turned I to staying there and getting a pink slip and have tendencies to harm others or myself the staff is crazier than the people in there absolutely would not recommend they are also rude as can be there is no time for outside and they treat all who come in as a complete looney this place is for the homeless to get a quick roof over their head NOT FOR YOUR HELP

This place is horrible! Do not come here if your looking to seek mental health treatment for a love one. The social worker was no help after I explained the issues my relative was having. The social worker stated she is not getting in the middle of this a walked away. And the kicker is she didn't even want to speak to me at first. All that social worker care about is her paycheck! No compassion at all! I wish I could give them no stars.

If you want to feel safe, don't go here. I was there from the evening of 5/13/18 to afternoon 5/15/18.
They have no guards, no locks, and not enough rooms. People waiting for rooms have to sit in chairs in the hallway. This all matters because of 2 instances I had within hours of each other on Monday, May 14th.
2 gentlemen, separate occasions, did not want to be at NetCare and sure as Hell weren't going to a hospital. Walls and doors were being punched. Random items were being thrown. Both gentlemen made threats against the staff's lives and everyone else in the facility. 1 even went as far as to tell the staff to call the cops because he would stab all the nurses to death, then kill the cops. With no guard on duty and only 911 to rely on, what would've stopped these guys if they actually followed through? I was in a room at the time but I can only imagine how much more in danger I would've been if I were sitting in one of the chairs, waiting for a room, next to either of these guys. They need to step up security before anyone should ever trust themselves or a member of their family to go there.

I was taken to Netcare in search of a link to outpatient services. The staff lied to me and attempted to admit me to their facility against my will. They withheld my belongings and refused to return them to me when I left. They had an employee with no credentials write a pink-slip based on hearsay and sent the police after me! Needless to say, I intend to seek legal action for the way I was treated. I didn't even have insurance (which is why I went there) so they must be desperate for funding to mug me of my property, deny me access to services and forge documents to have me committed!

Honestly I love netcare. I was nervous at first but if I needed anything all I needed was to ask. It s not a glorious place but the truth is they are trying to help as many people as possible with a wide range of issues. There our two sides of intake those that are very unstable will be put in a side with almost constant security, those whom are more stable will be put on the other side. They will also have an unidentified security person on that side. They aren t just there for your money, take it from one who has zero form of insurance and they charged me nothing and put me in there crisis stabilization unit where I could stay for up to 10 days. I was giving an outpatient counselor, case worker and psychologist to get the meds I needed.
The people in the crisis stabilization unit are wonderful people whom genuinely care about you and your well being.
If you need help this is a great place to go. It will not be a joy ride or a fun vacation because let s get real mental health is not a fun thing to deal with, it s scary, dark and hard. But I believe these people help very much, because honestly I did nothing to deserve there help but they gave it. At times they seemed uptight but I would be too if I never knew what kind of patient I was working with one whom was chill or one who was gonna try and hurt me. So be patient with them, and they will with you.

I wouldnt even give a star.i had to call netcare for my mother in law for trying to stab my husband and stabing holes in the walls being a danger to self and others twice today.second time she torn up her face ans threatened to blame husband doing it.the cops came and only the cops came and they didn't do anything.no evaluation, nothing. Didnt even see the damage or holes in the wall she had done or even listen to the people who witness the manic behavior. Definitely wont call again for any risk. Better to just handle it without them.

this place is a human drug deal they pride on the weak for a paycheck. i was lied to, i felt the red headed young therapist took advantage of my weakness and manipulated. she told me i was not a risk to myself that i just had a lot of trauma that was held inside and she calmed me down when the evaluation was done i was happy to get all that out my chest next thing i know a another girl came and told me that they wanted to me to stay the night so i can speak to the doctor they had on site so i agreed and signed the paper. I was settled in and said good bye to my boyfriend and they told him that he can come visit at 11pm that same night and pick me up at 8am the next day. that was later a BIG LIE the same red headed therapist came to me and told me that my insurance did not wanna cover my stay so that they have to send me to OHP i told her no thats not what was promised to me that they cant just promise an on site care that they can not help me at their office which was a lie. so i broke down more i asked them to give me my bf number which they gave me the wrong number on purpose so i couldn't tell him what was happening cause he was going to drop off dinner for me to eat at 11pm. I wanted to leave they told me that they can not let me leave that i signed the paper and if i leave they will call the cops to come get pick me up and bring me back to send me to OHP....mind you i was a wreck i felt trapped i was crying my eyes out begging them not to do this to me but she said sorry its done the ambulance will get you in a hr. i felt so trapped and scared i couldn't get in touch with my BF cause she gave me the wrong number so i felt more alone then i did b4. the ambulance came and the brought me to OHP to the ITU unit which is the mental crisis unit. i was (Pinked slipped) and no one told me til the next morning where i begged a nurse to get me someone to talk to, after battling and seeking for someone to talk to me a social worker spoke to me at 6am in the morning mind you i was admitted their since 11pm the night b4 she told me that NETCARE has a bad reputation of doing this to people . I was set up by netcare. after 3 days fight for myself with people that did not know what or why they just followed the "PINK SLIP" 72 hold i had to argue with so many people and prove that im not mentally sick that i was dealing with trauma on why i should not be the ITU unit that they need to transfer me to another unit asap if i had to be held for 72hr that change my unit!!! netcare i wish i never went to you for help everyone that workers at this building are all human dealers. evil people

The staff took good care of me. Food was great! I was struggling with mental health issues back in 2019 and got pink slipped to Netcare. Now that I got the help I needed and am doing better than I ever have before I did want to shed light on what happened before I was admitted. The case worker that came to my house repeatedly tried to trick me into admitting I had done methamphetamine, which I have never done, they said if I admitted to doing meth that I would not be admitted to the phych ward, which I refused. I ended up being liable for the cost of ER visit for drug test which came back negative for meth. The officer with her stated that it did not matter if people were following me cause that doesn't mean anything. Now that I got the help I need and am doing better I at least wanted to bring this to the attention of someone who actually cares in hopes that in the future other people in need of help will be assessed properly, and not stigmatized or abused because of their mental health issues and/or disabilities.

Horrible place. It deserve to be shut down because they take advantage by lying to and disenfranchising patients for money. This place is nothing but a hustle to take advantage of people for insurance dollars. Most of the staff are ignorant incompetent, shiftless, ghetto, and are not qualified enough to be health care professionals.
They staff (Burley demon as Beth, and Susan O Brien the wigger manipulator) target and are prejudice towards minority clients especially African American patients/clients.
The staff will lie by manipulating you to come there for referrals they don't have the licensure to give so they can get you illegally locked up there, for insurance dollars and will threatened you with illegal probation, targeting by the cops, and threatened to do inappropriate things to your belongings, if you try to escape from being brought there under false pretenses by the netcare intake associate..

This is a suicide crisis center, and nothing but a suicide crisis center. If you feel like you are on the ledge and need a service that will literally keep you trapped in a room without your belongings and unable to leave at will, this is the place for you. Pink slip is their hammer and every patient is another nail to them.

Update: I find it disturbing I got the same type of form response from Netcare as the individual whose diabetic medication was botched while being held captive here. Clearly the hammer & nail approach applies to the online reviews, too.

Ten years ago, I came here for a med check when unable to get a fast appointment and they were able to help me, so I went back to them recently. Now I am told since then there is a "pink slip law", things are different, this law apparently makes it too easy for them to have the power detain me because I am depressed. I don't know if this place can handle any person going through a crisis that is not literally about to die, if it is possible, that person would have to be guarded and not express any of their struggle with suicidal thoughts which seems like a real shame.

Its okay for a place for emergency help. You go there sign in etc. They then take you back take your phone shoes belts anything. Then of course they ask you questions on why you are there etc. Then you dont get help for the rest of the night, you are in a room alone with your thoughts on a cot in the middle of a room. All throughout the night the workers kept running in and out slamming the super loud door and being really loud. Didnt sleep at all. Then at 5am workers came in with a hospital bed and strapped me to it and wheeled me into a ambulance where they took me to a place called "OHP" I was already pink slipped so i had to spend a mandatory 3 days at that place & i wasnt allowed to see my son and only see my husband for 1 hour a day. I would only suggest to go here if you are REALLY wanting to commit suicide cause they strip you of everything and you get put in a room where you cannot leave and if you try to run out them doors the cops get called.

They shut down their facility on the east side and will make you go all the way to the west side and sleep on a mattress on the floor because they take in more patients than they have reasonable space for.

This is just a revenue farm in order to make a private corporation wealthy.

They provide almost zero continued care for their patients or treatment options. They will assign you to a hospital, who will bill medicaid $20k for a one week stay and then force you to go to the first outpatient treatment provider that has openings, even if that provider doesn't actually provide the care they are billing medicaid for.

They have plenty of housing for drunks and drug users, but not one red cent for housing for the mentally ill, especially if you're Jewish and need housing near to a synagogue. I have been cycling through this system since 2014 trying to find a good place to get treatment, trying to find suitable housing so I can practice my religion, and all I get is the runaround. Now, with the closure of Columbus Area, they expect me to go to another service provider who isn't actually trying to get me the help and services I need.

After other experiences I was skeptical. If you are going here for anything but mental health needs, like food then yes, you won't be happy here.
For me I was a mess a couple months back. I naturally isolate and dislike people interaction. So what helped me was the one on one interaction I got with multiple staff members in their crisis management hospital. At first there was an issue with medication but since the staff worked with me individually help resolve it really fast! All the staff is amazing and empathetic with me and on days I wanted to forget the world around me, management tried to do stuff to cheer me up.
I know my healing will be a long process for me, but Netcare, thank you for helping me find my better feelings again!

I have always had a positive experience with this place. I have suffered with mental health problems all of my life and these people have been nothing but kind to me. They know what they are doing and in my opinion offer more than most of the area hospitals that provide psychiatric care. I feel alot better because they got me the help I needed.

Netcare on central ave in Ohio is so terrible. My Grandmother and I went to see my mother tonight waited about 20 to get checked in then when we went back they were so rude. Then my grandma left the visiting area to go to the restroom and they wouldn't let her back in so while me and my mom were visiting my grandma waited for me. During mine and my mother's visit she went to go ask for some water and they screamed at her to get back in her room and right before she came back the "supervisor" who was even wearing a badge can into the room with my personal things and said "you need to go" didn't give me a chance to say goodbye and kept yelling at my mother to get in her room. I drove 45 minutes to get there to see my mother and only got to see her for about 15 to 20 minutes.I also was told that I could not come back and see her and no info about her medication or where she was going to be transferred. I was treated so poorly and disrespected that I will fill a complaint and a lawsuit against this so called rehab center. Do let yourself or loved ones be treated the way my family has been. Take yourself or loved one any place else but here for treatment. #nomorenetcare
