They shut down their facility on the east side and will make you go all the way to the west side and sleep on a mattress on the floor because they take in more patients than they have reasonable space for.

This is just a revenue farm in order to make a private corporation wealthy.

They provide almost zero continued care for their patients or treatment options. They will assign you to a hospital, who will bill medicaid $20k for a one week stay and then force you to go to the first outpatient treatment provider that has openings, even if that provider doesn't actually provide the care they are billing medicaid for.

They have plenty of housing for drunks and drug users, but not one red cent for housing for the mentally ill, especially if you're Jewish and need housing near to a synagogue. I have been cycling through this system since 2014 trying to find a good place to get treatment, trying to find suitable housing so I can practice my religion, and all I get is the runaround. Now, with the closure of Columbus Area, they expect me to go to another service provider who isn't actually trying to get me the help and services I need.
