MPEA is very unorganized and hires unqualified restarted people. I'm a taxi driver and the employees that work at the airport are so rude you cant imagine. I bought some stamps one day and went back 5 minutes later to buy some more. Th lady that sells these stamps is like you cant because I just sold you some. Its not like they are short on stamps because they keep the money and booklets of stamps in the open behind the bulletproof glass and they had stock for a week. I asked her numerous times to sell me the stamps but she wouldn't. Then I gave her an example. I said this is like going to a grocery store to buy some fruits and then going back 5 minutes later to buy some more and the clerk telling me you cant because you already bought some. She didn't care what I was saying. I wanted to buy as many as I can so wouldn't have to see her ugly ignorant face for a month!

Also, when drivers go down to pick up their customers you have to put this stamp in a form that mpea provides and give it to an MPEA EMPLOYEE. All their employee seem like they have mental issues. When you give this stamp to them its like your killing them because they scream for nothing, they mumble to them self, they grab the stamp so hard and take it so fast like you did something wrong. You are simply giving them a filled out form with a stamp on it. Thats it! There is no need to be mad retards.

They hire garbage people because all they have to do is sell the stamps and then collect them again. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE!!!! They are collecting $4 a stamp every time a driver goes down to the airport to pick up one customer. How many customers are picked up every day with taxi and limo? 10,000, 20,000 or more? They are making so much money and they are making this money from every taxi and limo driver!!!! In return these driver should be treated fairly in a humane way.

Another problem is the road that leads the drivers to arrival terminals to pick up their customers is so messed up that it need re pavement. We pay so much taxes to mpea and the city and we get stuck with garbage customer service and bad roads conditions.

MPEA NEEDS TO HIRE QUALIFIED WORKERS, PROVIDE BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE AND LOWER THE COST PER STAMP. FOR NOW MPEA SHOULD CHANGE THEIR NAME TO "METROPOLITAN PIER & EXTORTIONISTS"

By the way they raised the stamp fee from $2 to double $4. Goes to show its never enough.

City of Chicago is CORRUPT for allowing uber to op...

City of Chicago is CORRUPT for allowing uber to operate without properly licensing their drivers, allowing uber to use commercial insurance only during the time a customer is in the car and they are allowed to charge what ever they want. Uber drivers DO NOT have chauffeur license and are not required by the city of chicago. They do not have any special plate for commercial use. Taxis and limos do and it costs about $500 to maintain yearly. Imagine who your driver could be. Uber does not have commercial insurance 24/7 like taxis and limos do. They only provide commercial insurance from the time a customer gets in the car to the time the customer is dropped off. If the driver gets into an accident going to pick up the customer or after he/she has dropped off the customer, they are on their own. THATS NOT FAIR! This is the majority of the reason why uber has such cheap rates. Lastly, city of chicago has a cap on taxi meters as to what their minimum charge should be. Where as uber doesn't have such cap. City of chicago allows about 7000 taxis and 2-3000 limos. There is approximately 50,000 uber cars in chicago now. They do not have a cap by the city of chicago. To me it seems uber is government controlled. It has been most like created to destabilize the taxi industry because the taxi industry is mostly controlled by middle eastern which USA hates. The government created taxi medallion to put rules for taxi service and now a new company enters the market and rules do not apply to them. HOW IN THE **** CAN THE GOVERNMENT ALLOW THIS SCAM? Ubers reason is that they are a technology company? ok so what? You are providing the same service as taxis and limos. You are taking people from point A to point B. The end result is this government is making hell lot of money from this technologies companies and they do not care to put rules on them. MAKE THE RULES FAIR FOR ALL SIDES. UNTIL THEN SHAME ON YOU CORRUPT USA!!!!!!!
