We braved the freezing elements to trek down to Navy Pier. Well worth the trek, plenty to see and do, numerous shops and food outlets. Lovely tropical garden area in the conservatory to walk round and take shelter from the freezing elements. Great place to visit.

We are here for some business and wanted to add some pleasure but with covid19 the Navy pier experience wasn't the best. No ferris wheel and not a lot of shops are open. Still there are plenty of things to see and do outdoors in The Windy City. I would plan on seeing the outdoor amenitiesl. Sculptures, Architecture, outdoor dining, water stuff( sightseeing boats, swimmimg in lake michigan, etc etc etc.)

I ve been here numerous times. It s nothing special. But it is fun when you are with friends. The intricacies of its facilities are undoubtedly the foundation for which we strived for as Chicagoans. I can t recommend going to a better place to get closer to the lake. Also, it makes for killer selfies lol

We stopped at the Navy Pier during our bus tour. When we ordered our bus tickets they had a discount offer for the Ferris wheel tickets. I'm glad we took the bus there because the traffic was crazy. We really enjoyed the Ferris wheel. We had great views of the lake and city and overall a good time. The best part was a little 5 year old boy with his mother who were in our car. His running commentary of the ride was hilarious and cute. Great time and great people.

Visited the Pier on a weekday. As a result... The place was not very crowded and the rides... Easy to get into. A very nice view and best place you stay any cruise.. The river or the architectural cruise. A must see for every first visit to the city of Chicago.

Some things just get better with age, or in this case, SIGNIFICANT thoughtful and modern renovations! Navy pier has been totally revitalized and now has a sense of class along with amazing food and recreational options. I also love how dog friendly it is. Keep up the good work!

Nice tourist trap, with good views of Lake Michigan! The wheel gives you the best view of all, just mind your head and DUCK when getting in the car. They tell you about the gap, so I was looking down and whacked my nose and I'm 5'9". Tall people watch yourself!

So much to do here! We went for pizza, and then realized there was a lobster-fest going on at the end of the pier. For Labor Day, they had fireworks which were a real treat. A great place to walk around, and relax.

It's a tourist trap. It looks cool, lots of development but just not our jam. Definitely worth checking out but don't get your hopes up unless you like to spend a lot of money for a ferris wheel ride. Good place to find a lake tour of the city though.

Amazing view to the city and ocean, lots of option to eat but given its size should invest in better information signs and kiosks. The walking distance between the buildings are huge and one will spend a lot of time to find what she was wants.

Wonderful and beautiful place to spend an evening with your loved ones or your friends. This place is always crowded in the summer evenings, so try to be here on time if you want to take rides because the ticket lines are huge. The Chicago skyline is just amazing from the top of the Ferris wheel. The cafeteria and restrooms are just on the first floor under the rides. They have boat rides at Navi Pier starting from $10 and dinner/cocktail cruises as well.

Wish they had public transportation more conveniently connected to this place. It's always challenging to visit them without a car.
They have greenhouse with lots of trees and water fountains and it's nice with kids. Food courts are nice too.

Super tourist trap. All the shops are inside and there were no signs to tell us so we wandered outside forever. The views of Lake Michigan are beautiful and the candy shop inside has delicious gummy bears and pina colada gummy slices. Also the magnet kiosk is very reasonable with a great selection.

We spent a rainy morning at Navy Pier while in Chicago. It was perfect since there was so much to do indoors! Lots of shops, restaurants/bars, and activities. We enjoyed the tropical garden with the cool water features! Make sure you take the time to walk through it! There were lots of options for dining, including some fast food options in a food court to nice restaurants. We chose Harry Caray's Tavern, which we greatly enjoyed! After lunch, the rain had cleared and we enjoyed walking around outside to take in the view! We did not do the ferris wheel, though it looked like it would provide great views of the city. I was just too cheap to spend $18 per person on it!

It's so beautiful at night, just wish the ferris wheel would've been in operation so we could go on it. Still, had no idea there would be boat tours you could take or all the places to eat and drink.

I haven't visited Navy Pier in a couple of years for me it was only a touristy place. however when I took family from out of town to see Navy Pier I realize that they changed a lot and renovated the place from within.
It is full of shops, restaurants, small takeaway food and bars.
not a bad place to spend your evening if you just want to relax and have a couple of drinks.

Not the best I have visited. The ride on the giant circle was just okay but expensive. It's better to go to skydeck of 360 Chicago if you are interested in the views. The circle makes two rounds and lacks any significant thrill. The surrounding area is only sparsely populated with attractions. However you can easily if you plan to walk along the beach.
