Fantastic day at the Asheville Zip. We were there with three generations ranging from age 10 to 71 and everyone had a great time. Caitlin and Molly were both wonderful and entertained us with their knowledge of the area. They made the entire experience fun for all of us. My husband and I live in Asheville and have been to Navitat before. It s an ideal place to take our many out of town visitors.

It was an amazing experience!!! Highly recommend! If you're on the fence, I am telling you DO IT!!!

The ride up to the Welcome Center was a little scary but thats because I am not used to the curvy non pavement roads. Just drive slow & you'll be fine. More than enough parking so no worries there. I arrived 40 mins early for my experience & I'm glad I did because the GoPros were going fast! I haven't viewed my footage yet but the lady told me I got some great stuff so it was worth the $40. You have to give them your ID to rent one fyi.

Check in was a breeze. They stamp your hand, tell you about what to bring & what to leave in your car. They hold your car keys behind the desk. They do weigh you so be prepared for that. They put you in the harness & show you everything you need to know. Super easy.

2 guides took us on our tour. I did the blue ridge experience which I highly recommend. Ethan & Bettina (not sure if I spelled that right) were amazing! 3 lines to sip with hikes in between all. The hike after the first line almost killed me lol. All uphill but only .5 miles. So be prepared to sweat. They allow for small breaks during but seriously...prepare yourself. I hike fairly often & I might have still been tired from the previous days activities but I was so winded. But it was worth it.

Excellent views on the 2nd line. So peaceful & majestic!!! And I know some say it doesnt really feel like you're going that fast, but I felt like I was flying. And it was so nice that I had to do nothing to brake. It all did it for me. I knew that from the website but was still nervous. But you literally just sit back, relax, zip down the line, it stops you & they pull you in.

I wore my glasses the entire time & had no problem. Also if it rains, even just a little, when you are zipping down, it will hurt against your face. Nothing too painful but it surprised me with how light the rain was.

If I could give this place 1000 stars I would!!! Simply amazing! Great experience!

We had a fantastic afternoon in the tree tops! The staff let us join in the last group of the day. Our boys enjoyed being able race each other on the double lines. Devon and Sam R. were wonderful guides. This is the best setup that we've been on in a few years, even compared to a recent zip line experience near the Grand Canyon. We can't wait to try the one in Knoxville.

This was the best experience of my life! I did the tree top tour and my guides(Jordan and Luke)and it was incredible! I am definitely going again next year, and the next year, and so on. They made me and my family feel so safe and we had a blast!

My kids had THE BEST time ziplining yesterday at Navitat! And honestly, my youngest daughter, who is only 6 and doesn't meet minimum weight requirements, and I had a great time waiting for them. There are a lot of games to play and a pretty picnic area. Whether you're going ziplining or waiting for those who are, it's really a great place. Check it out!

Staff was amazing. Our guides were Sam and Aimee and they made it comfortable for first timers as well as experienced zippers. Really enjoyed the forest lessons as we walked from zip to zip.

We had a group of 5, and we were paired with another group of 3. Super nice people, and a true pleasure to spend some time with.

Staff had plenty of forest knowledge and funny (but corny) jokes that really made the day fun.

I can't recommend Navitat enough! I recently went on their Mountain Top tour. We had two guides, Alexis and Nick. They were both amazing! The tour had three zip lines, one of which is the longest zip east of the Mississippi! On the hikes between zips Nick and Alexis stopped to give information about local plants. They had lots of knowledge and were great about answering questions. I had never been zip lining before and they made everything feel safe and fun. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This place is fantastic. Our guides were amazingly helpful and accommodating to us as first time zipliners. The views are beautiful and everything about our visit made us feel safe and have a blast. The negative reviews are from bitter people who clearly did not plan or bother to even peruse the website.

We will be back! My husband and I took a mini-vacation to Asheville recently, and this was one of our stops. Neither of us had been zip-lining before, so we chose Navitat to be our first experience. Since we were beginners, we opted for the Moody Cove Adventure to get better acclimated. There were five other people in our small group with us and two guides, which was great because it made the whole experience much more personal and less-intimidating. It lasted about four hours, and I think there were 8-10 different zips, so I left feeling that I had gotten my money's worth.

Our guides were awesome as well! They were very fun and knowledgeable, and they also had some great local food recommendations for us. Our female guide (Rachel, I think?), recommended Foggy Mountain Brew Pub downtown when she learned that we hailed from Wisconsin, as the owners are from there as well. Our other guide (Peter...? Sorry, I'm bad with names!) told us to stop at Soba Sushi and Noodles in nearby Weaverville for lunch, and now thanks to him, no Chinese food will ever compare.

The next time we are in Asheville, we will absolutely be returning to venture along the other course. Now that we've experienced it, we want to ride the longest, fastest zip courses we can find.

WOW! What an incredibly fun day! The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable, they truly made the whole experience just so much better. My boyfriend and I did the Blue Ridge Mountain Top tour and it was so cool! I have been on canopy tours around the world and I have to say this tour is my favorite because not only are you zipping through some of the most beautiful mountains, you are also given great information about the regions plants and history. I love that our guide, Aimee, was personable and funny (clever zip lining/wilderness jokes-- I LOVED IT). Aimee, Daniel, Caitlin, and Allee did everything possible to make sure our group felt safe and had fun, which of course we had a BLAST! There is an option to rent a Go Pro, which we did and has some really great video come out and I am so excited to share with my family because they also gave my a Micro SD card to take home! Overall, I highly recommend doing Navitat Canopy Tours, even if you are just in town to visit just for a day, it is WELL WORTH IT. Thanks again to Aimee, Daniel, Caitlin, and Allee for making an unforgettable experience ever better than I expected. Cheers!

Navitat is a professional, fun and and amazing time. They have two options, the tree top and mountain top. Both are different, unique experiences and worth every penny. Whether you're a local or visiting from out of town, it's an adventure for everyone.

As a tourist remember to tip your guide!

Shannon and Scott were awesome today! Scott was very knowledgeable about the influence that the sarsaparilla plant had on root beer in the 1950's. Shannon was in her wheel house talking about all the plants in the Blue Ridge mountains and pointing out the mountain ranges. It was a great trip for our family. We look forward to zip lining again next year...see y'all in the Fall 2020 Shannon and Scott! Did I mention that Shannon and Scott were outstanding guides!?!

What an amazing time we had!!! If you are on the fence about doing this, it is well worth the money! Our guide Daniel was the BEST! The love he has for his job is apparent! I really enjoyed him sharing his knowledge of the surrounding mountains and flora! Thanks for such an unforgettable experience!

My husband and I were thrilled with Navitat ziplines. It was my first zip experience and I'm ready to go again. My husband has been before and I was a little afraid of going, but not now. We are both in our 60's, if we can do it, anyone can. Our guides, Gus and Jackson, were fantastic. They were excellent at their jobs and between their sense of humor and my husband's, it was a great time. We were on vacation from Florida, we will be back! Go try it, we don't think you'll be disappointed!

Amazing experience, no matter the level, no matter the age!!! They could easily call this "spa ziplining." You literally do NOTHING. The guides (our primary guide was J.C.) are outstanding, super friendly, amiable, knowledgeable and funny, and make you feel in great hands from the first minute. The facilities and equipment are top-notch. At no moment did I feel fear or even nervousness. (Next year I am bringing my 80-year-old parents!) My teens and l had all been ziplining before, but this would be ideal for first-timers -- I felt much safer and less nervous than ziplining in the mom-and-pop outfits of Costa Rica. Before you know it, you have done the fastest zipline in the U.S. and second-longest in the world. Amazing!

We did the mountaintop tour. I would rate the hiking as "easy." (The treetop tour definitely sounds more strenuous.) The trails in between ziplines are brief, neatly mulched, and well-maintained. There are some stairs, but not many, and the guides stop to point out cool things in the forest so there are opportunities to catch your breath if you need it.

The ziplining itself is beautiful and fun. You don't touch anything -- your harness, trolley, carabiner clips -- nothing. They handle all of it. Best of all, you don't have to worry about braking! There is no glove involved, or need to support your own body weight. (On manual-brake lines, you run the risk of braking too soon, and having to pull yourself in, hand over hand, along the cable. Not here.) Much like a gondola, there is a brake catch on the cable that automatically slows you when you reach it, and then a magnetic pull shoots along the cable and connects to your trolley and pulls you in.

There is plenty of time to enjoy the view as you zip along, since you don't have to think about anything else or worry about slowing yourself down!

As long as you meet the weight and health restrictions, I wouldn't hesitate for one second. Book it. All ages. All experience levels. We can't wait to go back!

Best zip line hands down- the guides have been very like able each time I had the pleasure to go on a zip line tour - we did mountain top tour and I recommend it 100%!!!! Amazing space to zip line and experience the natural wonders of WNC.

We had a so much fun there!!! Our guides Jesse and Anna, M are great facilitators. I was so scared to do it first but they encourageded me and I loved zipline. They even taught us the geography and nature. The mountain view was so pretty and I would love to zipline at navitat again!!

Amazing experience. Definitely give you a difference view of the mountains on the zip line. Would be even more perfect if we could have stopped mid way on the zip line to take in the breath taking view. The feelings of being suspended is just amazing. Great for first timers. The Navitat guides definitely added to the experience. Very friendly and humorous. Would recommend this to everyone.

My brother and I had so much fun on the treetop tour with Jesse and Sam L!!! We had done it about 6 years ago, but it was even better this time around, especially doing it during a different time of year. Jesse and Sam were both so knowledgeable about the area, and made the whole trip really enjoyable for our group, even giving great recommendations for us to do after zipping. They also take really great pictures. Thanks so much for a fun trip!!

We had a blast on the treetop canopy tour! I have ziplined once before and this experience was far superior. The zips were longer, higher and faster. The most important piece of our great experience was our guide, Jesse, who was fun, clever and knowledgeable. I would just recommend wearing pants or shorts with buttoned pockets so you can bring your phone and take some pics:)

The Navitat mountaintop Adventure was awesome! I took my three kids who are 13, 15 and 17 years old, the oldest of which has Down syndrome. I chose Navitat specifically based on the description online. The website was very informational and easy to navigate. The tour had several things I was looking for: zip lines that did not require canopy bridges between the zip lines that are too challenging for my son, a five point, over the shoulder harness, and enough excitement that the whole family would have a blast. In addition to that, they could provide ATV transportation back to the bottom if any one of us were unable to do the Zipline. The descriptions on the website are very accurate. We arrived and were greeted by no less than four smiling faces. The modern, clean facility had cornhole, giant Jenga and Hammock chairs to use while waiting to get suited up. Once we were called, our two guides, Scott and JC told us what to expect. As we were getting our harnesses on, two more helpers popped out of the woodwork to help and we were suited up and in the van, ready to go in no time. The van ride up to the top, was nearly as exciting as any four wheel drive jeep tour I ve been on. Steep, rugged, curvy roads made for a wild ride. Once at the top there were four segments of trail total. While the hiking was challenging for my son with Down syndrome, the trails were moderate at their most difficult. Scott and JC were more than accommodating. They were patient and kind and had something to point out of interest every time we needed a break to catch our breath. Their ease and mastery of the system put us all at ease and the zips themselves were spectacular! The second one in particular was quite other-worldly. The hoots and hollers echo back at you and time stands still for just a few seconds while you are mid-air on the fastest zip line in the country. Getting to zip alongside someone was an added bonus as well. So fun to see your loved ones having so much fun! I can t thank of Scott and JC enough! They were phenomenal and made the whole experience well worth the expense! This was definitely the highlight of our spring break trip to Asheville. Thank you!

GREAT experience on the Mountaintop Tour! Even at 350 feet up in the air, we were perfectly safe in the care of our knowledgeable tour guide, Becca, who gave us a beautiful tour of the Blue Ridge Mountains from above. Thanks for such a fun day.

I went on the Mountain Top tour with a couple of friends on Oct 13. The zips were great fun and the views were spectacular. Our guide Aimee was funny and informative. I will definitely come back.

The mountaintop zipline was thrilling! The guides had informative stories during the walks to each zip regarding the vegetation and also had a few good jokes. We felt safe zipping with them and the views are wonderful!

Navitat is a great place to go for a thrilling vacation experience, especially in the Fall. All the guides are very knowledgeable and entertaining and management is great, as well.

I was able to do this in the July of 2020. It definitely isn t something that normal would be up my alley, but I am so completely glad that I made the exception. I really believe it s an experience everyone should have at least once in their lives. Alexis was a fabulous instructor, with such a kind and gentle touch. Would do it a thousand times over.

It was our first time zip-lining and Navitat made it an amazing experience. Aimee and Dori were awesome tour guides who went above and beyond informing us of all the safety guidelines, they had the whole group entertained. They even kept the hikes between zip-lines super interesting with their knowledge of the local flora of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the frost grape vines were so cool! The zips themselves are nothing short of breathtaking with 360 views of the mountains flying by and each line seems faster than the last. Even the initial van-ride to the top left us all exhilarated.. I highly recommend this experience!

We did the Mountain Top Tour and it was great!! Incredible scenery. First class facility. Long, high and exciting zips were the best we have ever done. Our guides - Hayden and Casey made the trip even better. They were not only professional, but they were also funny and knowledgeable about all the beauty around us. They made sure we got more out of it than just a thrilling zip line.

Went for our 2nd time. It is so much fun and the staff is awesome. I'm afraid of heights but had no issues on the lines. Entire family (kids 16 and 12) both really enjoyed.

I absolutely loved it! Our guide Dory was so much fun and so knowledge about the area and the plant life and gave such a feel of confidence to those who arrived nervous. I could tell that everyone in our group was eager to go again. We learned some fun facts and had an easy smile the whole day. After months of being cooped up inside with the stress and uncertainty of this COVID-19 pandemic, I was especially grateful for the grounding effect and for a safe way to experience the feeling of freedom that came from soaring through the trees like an eagle! Did the mountaintop tour with Nina and Molly as our guides and had a great time! The guides were fantastic and made the experience really great! The tandem zips were a blast and the mountain scenery was gorgeous. Definitely worth it!

Definitely would recommend this place. I have ziplined before and this experience blew that out of the water. My husband has never been so I chose this based on reviews. He loved it! The views were amazing. Breath taking adventure across the mountains. Sam S and Devin were great tour guides. It is so worth the money to have guides who know the area and help you have a great time. This was a great anniversary gift to ourselves!

This is a must do activity while in Asheville! The company is amazing and really makes their ziplining tours enjoyable and fun.
-There are 2 tours, Mountain Top and Tree Top. Mountain Top is better for first timers in my opinion or people with extreme fear of heights.
- Mountain Top has 3 long zips, you can zip side-by-side so great if you have a partner with you, there is a little hiking in the beginning but the most of the tour is easy.
-Tree Top involves 2 bridge crosses, a spiral tree staircase and rappeling to the ground. So you really have to be comfortable with heights.
-The guides are great and really knowledgeable about the mountains and experts a zipping.
-You get great pictures and photo ops throughout the tour. The picture packages are great also. 1 pic for $15, 5 pics for $25 and all pictures for $35. We got all of the pictures even though they included pics of our group because we couldn't decided on only 5 pics. GoPros are also available to rent.
This was a great activity to do, the views are amazing and even in the midst of summer there was plenty of shade throughout the tour. Be sure to leave all items like bookbags, snacks, water bottles, etc in the car. You can't take it with you

Our kids had a great time. Tour lasted about 2 hrs, with 3 long ziplines. Would recommend for older kids and adults.

I like this venue very much. It has a very special air. The kitcen is tasty. the service is efficient and the team is professional. The cost is fair. very much recommend.

This place is amazing... I loved it so much over the years I have done the same tree top tour with different people visiting, and loved every zip. We were guided this last trip by Sam R. And Grant, both GREAT guides... they even answered every stupid question I had about the trees around us. Loved the entire trip... if my husband ever lets me go back again I m doing the Mountain Top Tour. Keep up the great work guys I love all the improvements over the years too. For anyone who is deathly afraid of heights... YOU CAN DO THIS... AND LOVE EVERY MINUTE. I fall into that category and never once felt frightened ... one little hint, you really don t need to watch the break system you won t splat into the tree like Wiley Coyote I promise...

Our guides we're Derek and Daniel M.. they were fantastic. Super informative and super fun guides. This was my first time ever Zip lining and they made it amazing. The hike was just as fun because on the way we learned about medicinal plants, how to survive it needed and much more. Thank you!!

This was the 2nd time I've gone in the Mountain Top tour. In 2015 to this day for a girls adventure day and today with my husband. Both times was a blast. I've been on several zip lines I like thier sit down and hold on to a bar harness style the best. They are very informative of the native plant and animal life along the walk between platforms. Very professional yet funny each time. This time we Had Alexis and Anna, we loved them. All of the staff was great. We will hopefully go back next year maybe in the spring to do both trips all day long. We only live 90 minutes away so just making the time to do it.

Fun just isn t enough to describe this experience. It went by way too fast. We truly enjoyed ourselves. The views had me literally speechless, the mountain air was perfect, the adrenaline rush was out of this world. I appreciate our guides for being so full of life. Super thankful my husband brought me here. I could have stayed all day!

First time to zipline and it was exhilarating!! After the intense van ride up to the first zipline I knew I could handle anything. All of the staff, starting with those that answered my initial phone call, to our driver Josh who s confidence and skill assured me I wouldn t die on the way to the top, to our guides Nick and Ansel, was great. Though the group I was part of had no sense of humor, Ansel continued to try to get some laughs. He was punny and did an excellent job and Nick was great too. Both were confident and skilled keeping us all assured of our safely. They taught us lots of neat things and you could tell they love nature and their jobs. You would never know Nick had only been on the job for 3 weeks. I would have thought he d been at it for years. The only thing missing was a taco truck at the end of the trip!

The zip lines were fun and exhilarating. The tour guides, Josh and Danielle, were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and the flora and fauna. Josh s jokes were some of the best I ve ever heard. Thank you so much for the fun time Josh and Danielle. Keep zipping!!!

We had a fabulous experience on the Mountain Top tour. Kayla is a terrific guide. She made it fun and exciting and was quite knowledgeable. The whole outfit was top notch and extremely safety conscious as well.

We had a wonderful time ziplining at Navitat. Stephanie guided our group on the Mountaintop Tour with energy and enthusiasm. Not only did we get to experience an amazing zipline tour, but she also gave us some cool survival tips while hiking between the different courses. Everything about the Navitat experience was top notch. From the well-thought out activities available (Jenga, cornhole, sidewalk chalk, etc) to kill time prior to the tour starting, to the clear dedication to safety, we were impressed with it all. Highly recommend!

What an amazing experience! We went when the leaves where changing, and zipping through the trees and 60+ mph was an absolute thrill. We will be going back again and again. Highly recommended!!

We visited on Wednesday, July 31 and had a fabulous time. Nina and Ally were our guides and couldn't have been better. Two of us were experienced, but my 9year old daughter was up for her first adventure and was very nervous. Both Nina and Ally paid attention to her needs and were so helpful throught the entire experience. Amazing. A++. Superb. Thank you so much.

We had a great time on the mountain top tour with our AMAZING guides Jaime, Dory and Casey! The "Beast in the East" is always my favorite zip. Great 360 views of the mountains and the forest hundreds of feet below!!

Lots of fun and our guide, Allee, was great. She was also super knowledgable about the local ecology and the history of the zipline tours themselves. Great way to spend part of a day. 10/10 would recommend.

We took the Mountaintop Tour with Alexis last weekend and it was amazing! She was so easy to talk to and knew so much about the history of the mountains/nature during our hike, it was so interesting to learn along the way! I can't describe how much fun this was, we had amazing guides Devan and Ansel, they made the trip both educational and a blast at the same time. The views from the mountain top ziplines are breath taking!

This was our first time zip lining and I recommend everyone have an opportunity for this adventure. Even though we are "seniors" this zip line felt comfortable and safe the whole time. There were three zips on the mountaintop tour, with a small, but beautiful hike between each one. Our wonderful guides, Caitlyn and Anika entertained us with stories about the land, plants and history. All I can say is that I can't wait until I can go again!!
