Good for a short walk and some animal exposure u wouldn't normally see.

Nice zoo a little pricey, not much shade on a hot day, and the track wasn't very stroller friendly. Not a bad visit though.

I had an awesome time with my family and it was really great to have it be $10 a person

We always enjoy this Zoo. Everytime we go i see someone out feeding the animals and spending time with them. We try to go at least twice a month. These animals are gorgeous and seem happy. They have good clean wide open spaces also. I highly recommend visiting this medium size zoo and i go to other Zoos all over the country!

NEGLECTED ANIMALS....THEY NEED TO BE FINED AND SUED AND CLOSED DOWN. ASHA NEEDS TO BE MOVED AND TO GET THE PROPER CARE. HER FEET ARE CRACKED AND THEY ARE REFUSING THE PROPER MEDICAL ATTENTION THAT SHE NEEDS. THERE IS A PETITION THAT I HOPE GETS PASSED TO GET HER MOVED. ALOT MORE ANIMALS ARE WITHOUT THERE PROPER SURROUNDINGS, WHAT A PATHETIC PLACE.

Friendly staff. Animals seemed well taken care of. The bird area was fantastic. Only down fall was some other guest wasn't following the posted signs and trying to annoy the animals

Awesome place. Smaller than expected. My daughter enjoyed the elephant ride. Cost $10 plus 10 more for a 4x6 picture. Staff was friendly. Easy to find although not slot of parking unless I missed some somewhere

I took my grandson to the zoo today. He asked me last night to "Please, Nana, take me to the zoo... PLEASE!" I am so happy that there is a zoo within driving distance for me. I used to take my children to this zoo when they were young, and it was so much fun pairing it with a visit to the Bridge, just as I did today. I also took many of my kindergarten classes on field trips here.
I read all the recent negative reviews on this site last night, but vowed I was going with an open mind. What I saw today was the same, small zoo I remembered. It isn't a San Diego Wild Animal Park, by no means, but I saw a zoo doing the best they can with the funds they have. The animals looked fed and were even playing. My grandson was thrilled to see giraffes and the elephant, and all the other exhibits. I saw workers feeding and interacting with the animals. Yes, some of the grass needed mowing, but I can certainly look past that when there are other more important factors to consider. With all the negative reviews, I'm certain that attendance is low. We were there one hour and I saw no one else visiting. I'm certain that more staff could be hired if the zoo had more support.
I taught school for thirty-one years. During those years I actually visited the homes of my students. I found more deplorable living conditions in some of those homes than I did at this zoo. And those homes had government assistance!
I had a lovely day with my grandson at the Natural Bridge Zoo. Perhaps local civic groups, Boy Scouts , etc would like to approach the zoo about volunteering to help get the place spruced up a bit. I say instead of complaining, offer to help. I, for one, would like to see them stay open.

These cages are far too small for the animals here. Every animal looks so sad, and it breaks my heart to think about the lonesome lives they keep. Having a lone elephant is like keeping it in solitary confinement day after day. I honestly don t know how these people sleep at night.

They look all nice when visitors come, but come on, face the reality! Do you know how terrible the zoo animals' lives have been? No! They abuse the animals if the animals don't do something correct. Even infants! If there was a 0 star option I would rate it 0 stars.

We really enjoyed the zoo. The big cats were snoozing, but that was expected. Our 3yr old had fun feeding the bear and giraffes carrots. The camels and llamas like the dry food. The parakeets were cool too. A lot easier and interactive then bigger zoos

This dump needs to be shut down. Their staff is abusive, rude and crude. They care nothing for the animals. And that poor, poor elephant....treating her like a child's toy. It's sickening.

It was fun with the family. Elephant ride was short but the picture was awesome.

The Natural Bridge Zoo was an over-the-top experience for me and my family. I spent my 52nd birthday here with my family and my grandchildren. We rode the elephant and the elephant attendant was extremely nice and told us about the elephants life history. Feeding the animals was an extraordinary experience for my grandchildren they all appreciated and loved it very much. I highly recommend everyone going to the birdcage and feeding the birds. That's fun experience with all the birds Landing on your shoulders arms and head.

I realy enjoyed this zoo.the staff were great tim the tour guide was great and the elephant handlers were great.the anamals all looked well fed n enclosures were clean .a bit small but very clean and anamals looked content.the e)ephant ride was great n she was very sweet n exceptionaly well trained n behaved...the only down fall i saw was the gift shop prices were extreamly high ...i think they would sell more if prices were at much lower ..i know i woulda bought lots more of souvaneres if were lower.i only could afford couple post cards after paying the price of entry.....other than that i totaly enjoyed the day there n was totaly ok with the conditions of habatats n anamaks.

keeping an innocent animal in captivity and positively depraved, unthinkable conditions is so wrong. not to mention offering "elephant rides". this place is the epitome of greed and human unkindness.

Beautiful zoo with very clean and nice enclosures. Friendly animals that you can get really close to and the zoo isn t overcrowded.

This zoo is not held to the standards of the National zoos and aquariums. Please do not give these people your money! These animals need a voice. They are living in deplorable conditions and winter is coming. This is just sad. I hope something touches their hearts and they transport these poor animals to Tennessee or California where they can receive proper care.

This zoo was dirty and not well kept. The rest room was full of dead bugs and the toilet looked like it had not been cleaned in weeks. Staff were not friendly. If you have young children please be careful when seeing the rhea. I could have easily touched this bird and a child would thing nothing of trying to pet it. I would think this should be some sort of safety violation.The animals do not have enough space. The white tiger and the Bengal tiger especially need more room. I am not sure how they get away with not having a bigger enclosure for those big cats. Maybe because they are private they are not monitored as closely. I feel really bad for the animals. I have been to many zoos around the united states and this was really sad to see. I would not recommend this zoo.

It seems as if the workers really do take care of the animals here. The conditions always seem clean, and the animals dont seem skinny and poorly taken care of as you see in other zoo's. The staff is friendly and helpful and the Zoo all together is clean. Will be returning

Great place. Definitely family oriented. Nice gift shop and friendly staff.

All the animals were well cared for, staff was informative. Animals were healthy. Make sure you stop and see the camel. She is so friendly. Would definitely come back

Despite the bad reviews this place has gotten it seems like they are improving things. Animal enclosures were clean, plenty of food and water for all the animals. Fun day for the family
