hope this finds you well?
I just have to say that you Sir must be just about the most patient and courteous gentleman I have ever had the pleasure of conversing with. The issue you are facing with regard to the terrible reviews you are constantly receiving in the place of what appears to be the most unprofessional vehicle hire company ever to have existed must now surely be a huge drain on your good nature? Surely Google can do something for you? Although it would be just good manners for the authors to remove their reviews once they have been informed of your unfortunate situation. It not an onerous procedure, you just delete it. It can t be made any easier.

Anyway the reviews didn t put me off using your excellent company as you were recommended to me by a friend and colleague who s opinion I value greatly.

From start to finish my expectations were exceeded. Customer service of such a high standard is unfortunately becoming increasingly rare in this day and age and it gives me great pleasure to be telling you of my positive experience with your staff. I m sure you are very proud to be the employer of staff with such a positive attitude to their work both and towards your customer base.

When the need arises I will not hesitate to use your services again. Truly your staff were very professional and a pleasure to deal with.

Hope your difficulties can be rectified swiftly.

Would give 0 stars if I could. I hired a put on tail lift van on the 2nd of Oct (reading previous reviews I seem to be 1 of the lucky ones who actually got a van) it arrived late and damaged! That was why it was late, it was being repaired. The top of the van had been bodged but it looked ok. The van was loaded and we set off. Got no more than 25 miles down the road and had to stop on the motorway services as the tyre had gone flat. We stopped to put some air in and as we were pumping it up we could hear the air escaping from the back if it. We had to call the aa out to change the wheel as the van was fully loaded. When he arrived and took the wheel.of I was horrified to see the state of it. There was bare wire exposed all round the tyre. It had clearly been like this for some time. The weather this day was awful, constant rain. If the tyre had burst while going full speed on the motorway I dread to think what would have happened. We continued on our journey and arrived late at night so decided to unload the van the following day. This was when we discovered there was no key to lock the back door. A restless night was spent worrying someone might get into the van and take our stuff. The next day we unloaded the van to find that the previous damage caused to the roof wasn't fixed properly and had let water in all over our sofa cushions and carpets. I contacted nationwide hire and was told I needed to put it all in an email. Which I did. I recieved an automated response telling me they aim to reply within 28 days. 28 days came and went so I contacted them again. Was told to resend original email. I did then recieve a reply telling me they had contacted the relevant branch and were waiting a reply. Several calls later, several emails sent to customer services chasing them and I am STILL waiting for an answer or even a call back. Over 2 months after the original hire. Absolute shambles of a company. AVOID AVOID AVOID. Use at your own peril.

A very well run business. And very helpful staff. They can hire just about any thing you can think of tools, safety equipment, transport, event equipment, training and more. Great company.

Booked and payed for a Luton van on Friday afterno...

Booked and payed for a Luton van on Friday afternoon to be delivered Saturday morning, website gives the impression it will be delivered at 10.30AM. No confirmation received so Saturday morning about 9.10 I call them and am told they're looking for one and it'll be with me a bit later. No problem I say then at 10.15 I get a call from Deb asking if I'll accept a Sprinter? Not ideal but I accept and ask what time it'll be dropped. Deb doesn't know as they haven't yet sourced one! 10.42 Deb calls again, not with a delivery time but to tell me they haven't been able to get a van. I'm clearly not happy and ask for my money back as I need it to hire a van from elsewhere but she says I have to wait 3 days! Quick to take your money and then happy leave you stranded. Would strongly advise against using Nationwide Hire.Why, in this day and age do customers have to wait 3 days to get monies reimbursed when companies like Nationwide Hire wait about two seconds.

BUYER BEWARE
Nationwide Hire kept my card information and then charged my card 4 weeks after the hire was completed - without any warning.
They will tell you it is for a parking fine, speeding ticket or fuel charge but never send any proof.

Please check the reviews on there sister company Nationwide Hire 4 U Ltd. Scamming people is their business model.

Do not use this company , the are dreadful , they have bad customer service when you give you card details they will charge you whatever they feel they are owed with out getting authorisation from the card user
