I have NEP through my apartment complex. I only get my Water/Sewer through them. I also then have community fees. My bill for a 712sqft apartment is consistently 75 dollars a month. I feel this is rather high for the space and the amount of water I know I am using. I am very clearly paying for the irrigation system where I live (which is not on them and more on the complex). The Bills are very easy to ready and easy to pay. I have never had to deal with their customer service so I have no comments on that. I feel their fees are too much for my usage. I do not have a choice in my service provider. If I did, I am not sure I would continue with this company.
Over priced third party electric company. How they are in business i have no clue. If you are moving to a community that uses NEP run for the hills they will overcharge you over and over and over. I love my current apartment complex but sadly must move due to this company. Also, we have had 3 power outages in 1 year and 2 times it was calm outside. terrible customer service as well.

This is 100% the worst company to deal with. They told my husband he had to set up auto pay for no reason, and then told us no one said that when we went to change it. They locked me out of the login on my account, and when I tried to reset it they said it couldn t be done for my account from online. Then every time I tried to call and get it handled I waited forever on hold to be met with rude customer service. I usually don t complain about companies but they ve been so unreasonable towards us. Our bill has always been paid. We ve never missed or had the card get denied. We just can t do auto pay because my husband doesn t get paid bi-weekly, he s paid every 15-16 business days, so it can be the 3rd or the 7th, or the 18th, or the 21st. So the same day every month just isn t an option. I will avoid leasing at apartments just to avoid dealing with this company.
I ve never had any issues with this company and enjoy having their services. Easy online portal and payments options.
My husband and I literally turned off our heat several times in December, we work from 6:30am to 6:30-7pm Monday through Friday no one is home yet our bill doubled in one month???? If this keep us we will do what we have to. It's a bad excuse to say the heat is working overtime in the cold when the month we were billed for we rarely used it or any electricity for that matter. It's no wonder this company has crappy reviews. Get it right or ur going to lose alot of customers, you can't gain business by ripping people off
Very easy company to work with. They answer when you call and they make the billing and payment process simple.
I personally want to say that nationwide might not be the cheapest electric company. However there customer service is great and they work with you if need be. :)
Very good & Easy to pay bills online with auto payment. It also helps to see the meter units and energy utilized for that month. No issues so far. !
Never in my life have I paid so much for water and undefined "fees."
They gave me a water bill for over $400 one month. Said I must have had a leak. There was no leak. I was out of town two weeks on that billing cycle. I had to pay that entire bill. I wish I didn't have to deal with these people.
I had a great experience speaking to the NEP representative on the phone. I called confused and she was patient with me and helped me to understand the charges on my bill. Great customer service NEP!

Engages in practice of submetering which allows them to upcharge utilities far beyond what is typically charged by purely public utility. For a 600 SQ ft. apartment I pay >$200/month in the winter to keep my apartment at a livable temperature. Also offers little to no transparency with costs, has terrible customer service that doesn't clarify charges at all. Avoid living in an apartment that uses NEP!!
This place is a scam! The public has spoken on this operation and that 1 star is very accurate!!. Google needs to add the option for negative stars or else I would give to this business. Here is why, They buy energy from the public utilities and mark it up with no regulation. Its about time the politicians stop lining their pockets from the lobbyists that Nationwide/ "should be named "Columbus Energy Partners" fronts. FYI there are other states that do not allow this practice! Nationwide only provides services in the Columbus area so why do they try to portray an image of a large national utility provider? Expect very high price and Poor customer service. Always find out who is the energy partner where you are moving to and stay away Energy Partners.
Stay away if you can. Unethical. They re essentially a middle man company to charge you more. I had to deal with $175 electric bill per month for a 1 bedroom apartment off Stelzer Rd. You can t get any other service but NEP so you get screwed.
Easy to use platform and I like that I can use my credit card for payment without being penilized by fees. I like the autopay function as well so that I do not have to worry about paying on time. I also like how my due date never changes. I have had no issues.
I never had any customer service issues with Nationwide but their fees must be outrageous...At peak in the winter our electric bill was $400+ for a small 3 bedroom apartment...
This company is all about making money. They will nickel and dime you for last drop. So in the mist of a pandemic, people loosing their lives, unemployment rate is sky high, parents can barely feed their kids because of loss of employment and this company adds late fee if you don t pay your bill. My fellow Americans take a deep look at who is there for you during this pandemic and let me be the first to say it s NOT This company.

Nationwide Energy has been easy to work with, they locally answer calls and questions and it has just been an overall great experience. And, it has been great having my electric, water and apartment fee all in one bill.
There website shows them not having any 1 star reviews, but this place frequently overcharges for most utilities.
What. a. Scam!! The worst company to go through.. And the crazy part is that they make you go through this company depending on what development you live in i.e Lifestyle community. Overpriced and 'unreal' charges. I wish I could give it negative stars... Good luck.
I've been under NEP's umbrella for a few years now and haven't had a single issue with them. Support has assisted me with late payments and any questions beyond that regarding my account without any push back since day 1.
Automatic bill pay is convenient and I like how they send me a notification email before my account is charged. The breakdown of my energy usage is also helpful for me to see where I should be more conscientious.

The representatives have always been very knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful whenever I've called in, which I greatly appreciate.
I was advised that notification was to come from my complex, I had already set up auto pay. Everyone was cluess, no I have no options to get me heat on except pay 1700.00. If this was a legit billing, it would not be 1700.00 in 5 months, let alone if my payment failed, why was I not notified. Gonna move just because of NEP.
Every time I've had to contact Nationwide Energy the advisor has been friendly, professional and very helpful, plus they speak perfect English which is a huge benefit these days.

I am a new customer to Nationwide Energy Partners and had a few issues with my initial billing. I spoke with Al & Jonna (I had to call in a couple times) and both were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. What a nice change for once! NEP does a great job of combining both water and electric bills into one! The automatic payments each month also make the process super easy! I d recommend NEP to anyone who has this utility option at their residence!

Absolutely do not live in a place that uses this service, they price gouge pretty hard in comparison to other energy companies, you will need to calculate quite a bit on top of your rent to acommidate for their rates. So if rent seems cheaper it could end up costing you more overall.
I like the auto-pay and it was easy to set up. However, I feel like the cost is more than I d expect even though I try to be energy-conscious as much as possible.
Charged less for a 4 bedroom house by AEP than a 1 bedroom apartment. This company is ridiculous and needs to be investigated!
The website and user account provides an excellent customer experience. I liked the online payment submission process which is kind of one click and very jazzy... At times I wish to submit payment weekly, rather than monthly :-). Keep up the good work Nationwide Energy Partners team!

Careful if you're moving somewhere with these clowns as your energy provider. I live in an 850sq ft apartment and work 60 hours a week. I'm never home. Bill is at least 200$ a month. Its insanity. Moving shortly to a bigger place that will cost less overall because I checked the utilities average and provider (obviously not NEP)
Can't really say horrible but they are on the edge of the cliff. Between my Apt complex and NEP , customer service and the way things are done...NOPE. Getting a new place soon and will make sure NEP is NOT associated with them.
I have a great relationship with Nationwide Energy Partners - esp the enrollment, they were able to remove my $150 intro fee for signing up for auto pay each month. The billing has been very reasonable the past year using their services. If you foresee a financial issue within the time-frame then the due date can be extended typically. I've never had an issues or complaints about the company. Very easy to pay my bill each month. Would recommend as a reliable residential electric energy supplier.

She is quick to answer all of my questions, no matter how small or how big- she s always on top of it. She makes us feel like we are the only client she deals with. I always feel important and know she is dedicated to helping with whatever we need, and never drops the ball.
I am very impressed and cannot say thank you enough for all of her hard work- from pulling reports, researching past move outs, submitting changes to billing, name changes, scheduling light pole maintenance, continuous updates on power outages (even after hours) and more.
