28 years ago they saved my son life ..without great doctors he would be died..yes they had some good Dr .and few bad apples . I that is everywhere..

Hopefully someone from the hospital reads this comment because I am unaware on who to contact to make sure that my point is heard. We have experienced one major problem which is the lack of baby cribs in the ER. Isnt this a children's hospital? We have an 8 month old and have been to Nationwide's Childrens Hospital twice and its very annoying that you have to hold your child or whatever it takes to keep them from falling off of a normal size hospital bed. They need to make this a priority to change or at least make available cribs in the ER. From the outside this is an awesome looking building but there are some opportunities to get better.

I was in a coma last year and they saved my life while I was in the ICU. I m giving one star bc I m suicidal

Love everyone been going for 9 years. We live in Kentucky and I been to 2 other children hospital and they couldn't find out what was wrong with him for 2 years.. Till we got to Nationwide Children Hospital.

The staff including the janitors, patient care associates, etc. Have always been very courteous and respectful. I wish we and other families didn't have to be here, but since we do, all of the staff make it as easy going as possible.

I'm absolutely DISGUSTED with Nationwide Children's Hospital at this point.... They almost KILLED my niece, have lied to my sister about the care provided and the issues the baby was having, and REFUSE to let the baby come home even though she shows no signs of medical issues. The care team even said the baby is perfectly healthy, but won't let her come home. Now they're threatening to call CPS because my sister wants the baby in better care.

Awful service, worse staff and even worse billing Dept. This has been a nightmare experience for us from to start go dinusy

So I walk in 10 mins after my son and my girl take the elevator up ask to have access to our room and I get told that they are never checked in even though they were in the room waiting. So after 5 minutes it finally gets figured out. Our appointment was at 10 and it is now 1137 and the dr just walked in. Think we are gonna change doctors already.

Horrible place. If your child is suicidal and you bring them into children's, they make you stay there 6 hours asking questions. Then tell you there is nothing they can do unless they actually try to kill themselves. Then when they do try to kill themselves, they keep them 3 days and say there is nothing else they can do!

Doctors do everything from a chair. A doctor determined my son wasn't disabled without even meeting him. It's all paperwork has nothing to do with the person. Avoid this hospital, it's just gotten too big and doesn't care about the children anymore.

Terrible, Terrible place to take youe sick child!! They dont even deserve a F. Got there around 1:30 am and took 3 to just take us tona room and waited 3.5 more hours to be seeing by a Doctor. They are really prompt to take your insurance information but no Service at all! It s ridiculous!!! Almost 7 hours waiting and no Doctor!!!

Great hospital. Caring and friendly staff. Very thorough care.

Staff was really nice but every 2 hours, we'd get a new nurse and have to tell them the same thing we told the previous. Also saw about 5 different doctors within a 7 hour span so had to tell them the same thing we told the previous one, also. Told us we had to feed out baby the food they provide and couldn't use the one her pediatricians suggested. Kept waking my baby up to check her vitals in the middle of the night.

Staff is nice but wait times are horrible. Registration line is understaffed...They have 4 stations but only check in at one? Been in the emergency room for 4 hours now. It's not that busy and we have accomplished nothing...Ended up spending 9 hours there, ended up getting some OTC medicine for my son and a $900 bill after insurance!

If I could keep the one star provided I would. Little one came in with a fever, went to urgent care. I truly think their googling symptoms and informing us this is what are kids have. No confidence in the details their providing us. After me repeatedly saying she has a fever because they never checked it. She was finally checked and the nurses response was I believe you, I can tell from her heart rate. Was told she would be provided something that will help with her cold/cough and fever. Told me Motrin, but once I reached CVS it was a different medication called in. Just a fever/pain reliever ibuprofen. Don t provide any details on the shots or medication provided. Such as side effects or symptoms to look for. Just if it s a steroid or the name.

Are you kidding me 5-6 hours to see a doctor at 11 o'clock at night..my sick baby has to suffer because unfortunately I can't miss work and have to walk out

I would give no stars if possible. They advertise their new behavioral health for children and don t do anything once a child comes in threatening to commit suicide. Apparently the on-call psychiatrist doesn t think admitting should be done for a 10 year old because during the assessment my son tells them he is no longer considering it. And this is exactly what is wrong with mental health today.

Stay Away from them!!!! One of the most expensive hospital in Columbus Ohio. Simple ultrasound for my 1 year old costed me $475!!!! Other places charges $100 - $200 for the same service. I did not know that before or else I would never go there. I am writing the review just to save other patient $$$.

When I was in the hospital they took care of me really well I loved my room and they are so nice.

I have nothing but good things to say about the Children's Hospital. My son has been going there since he was born. He spent the 1st 2 weeks of his life in the NICU who were absolutely amazing. That was almost 9 yrs ago. We have to go there multiple times a year for several doctors all of which are awesome. No complaints whatsoever. They all listen to my concerns that I have and are completely thorough with my son's care. If it wasn't for this place and the staff, I would be completely lost.
