Watt? Yes, of course, we knew what the mudflats are and still we went on a mudflat hike and had an experience that we liked ... It is worth protecting and you should invest everything in order to preserve this unique nature! We would like to come back and do a mudflat hike again ...

It is pure nature, powerful and vulnerable at the same time, tiny and huge, wide and yet so limited. A place to relax, dream, think and have fun in one. It scared me that during my walk I had more plastic in my hand in a very short time than the soft surf suggested. Pick up, bring ashore and more properly. Dispose of properly.

Lovingly designed small zoo, which allows many animals such as storks, llamas or rheas to be experienced up close without limits. Not only the petting zoo with goats and Co. - but there is also one. Dogs on a leash are welcome and will find many interesting scents, mainly from native species. The focus is on a wide variety of birds, but in the terrarium you can also admire Tejus, a giant species of lizard that I have never seen before. The big boobies could also be seen breeding up close, but none of them were caught! Without exception, they are sick or oil-smeared animals that have been collected and have failed to be reintroduced into the wild. I enjoyed it there and the children had a lot of fun in the playground and in the petting zoo. We recommend!

Many outdoor activities possible, many sports can be used.
Nature offers impressive impressions. For every type and age, whether alone or in pairs. Proper clothing and footwear are required. And the spa garden, without which often nothing works, but you can use the buses to the beach free of charge.

Hike in the mud flats, watch seals, fly kites, eat fresh crabs and lots of really cool attractions for the family. In bad weather there are also many covered things that you can experience. No wish remains unfulfilled.

This National Park is only a short journey from the centre of Hamburg by S-bahn. It has numerous bridleways, cycle tracks and paths suited for short or long walks through the countryside. This is mainly farmland and woods with some heath and marshes. I often see deer, cranes, white and grey herons as well as more common wildlife. A very relaxing way to spend a day off.

I had taken a tour of the sandbar where the seals live. The ship came very close and you could take great pictures. It is recommended to take a large pair of binoculars with you, as you can then observe the seals very closely. I can really recommend this tour.
