If you are there during a flood week, it is worth taking the Jan Cux II to the Gelbsand sandbank, the seal nursery. The ship moves close enough to see the seals well but without disturbing them. At low tide, a hike through the mudflats is highly recommended. Or a ride in a horse-drawn carriage to Neuwerk.
You should see the national park with your own eyes, otherwise you can't believe how big and beautiful it is. In addition to the huge sandbank, the dune landscape is in perfect harmony with people and nature. You can even watch deer during the day. A beautiful piece of earth

The Schleswig-Holstein Wadden Sea is always worth a trip / trip. Especially the area around Sankt Peter Ording is very nice. We are always happy to be here.

As a North Frisian exile, always nice to be back home. The air, the sea and the atmosphere invite you to relax! Drive to the beach by car. The tourist tax is moderate (reduced 7 euros for 1 person / plus car), but the beach is maintained / kept clean.

Very interesting experience that no one should miss. We were allowed to explore the national park with the Jan Cux. The boat trip to the seal banks was very nice and varied. The highlight was a small group of pilot whales. The money should be invested in any case.

By bike you can easily explore the national park and there is often the opportunity to linger.
