Running on the mudflats (kilometers long) is one of the best activities here. Pure nature. Absolutely recommendable. Also for those interested in "watching ships".

Wonderful place where you can spend whole days if the weather cooperates. We spent a very nice time here. A wonderfully quiet atmosphere, which seems to capture all people and so turns a stressed-out unfriendly German a self-contained in the person friendly. A mudflat walk is worth a visit, but should either be well organized or join a group of leaders.

A very good area to escape the hustle and bustle and to find peace. You can watch animals or go for walks. I also noticed the particularly pleasant air. I don't know what to rate badly here.

Very nice place to Wattwandern with the dog. There is much to discover and learn.
Such as. Crayfish, lugworms and wattwagon rides etc.

Few cars and energy can be refueled once again in the Freihen.

We found this totally awesome here even though we live on the Baltic Sea and have the sea on our doorstep, we are often drawn to it. North Sea.
