I liked the light show from Raffaello. Also 7. 01 in the opera was a wonderful concert. And the prices were affordable for almost everyone.
Good to listen to the opera to see the performance, the toilet is on the ground floor
A wonderful place, climatic, with soul. Inside decorated with the highest craftsmanship, the presentation of Swan Lake at the highest level. Tickets are relatively cheap, it is best to buy in advance online.
Nice and comfortable. And what to do is a purely individual matter.
Opera Theater is worthy of respect in terms of performances and very friendly staff.
The actors and performers themselves are close to the people and do not mind communicating with visitors, if they had respect for the staging
Architecture, interior decoration worthy of a visit, regardless of repertoire
Every performance is like the first time. The dancers, music, atmosphere is always awesome. You should get a ticket and there there. A day will tell you all. Experience it for yourself
Very cheap, bar expensive as you'd expect. Book in advance online.
Jewel of Kiev.
Even if you are in the city for only a few days, it's worth spending a night or an afternoon here. Every day a different offer - and for this reason one would expect mediocre quality. As for me, I happened to see a beautiful Carmen. And it's always a great experience to sit in the audience of a historic opera house.
Most important of all: the cost of a ticket. With just under ten euros, buy a seat in the front rows. And if you want to save even more, obviously the gallery tickets cost even less!
The magnificent construction of the National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after Taras Shevchenko is by far one of the most fascinating in the city of Kiev. New beautiful buildings are being erected, generations of Kyiv residents are changing, and the memory again and again brings back to old Kiev a place full of many legends and events that have already become history ...
You can drink here with your friends and have a good time.
The beautiful performances of the artists are spoiled by some scruffy building and the disgusting layout of the hall. That in the stalls, that in the boxes the scene is visible only from the front rows. In addition to the boxes you will have to sit on uncomfortable chairs sliding on a ragged parquet floor.
The theater is beautiful, rich, well-groomed, wonderful sound of the orchestra. I like everything except rude viewers)
Less impressive than the opera in Odessa.
And the prices are higher, still worth it.
The performance was great, and i came late so they allowed me to get in only in the break , i went to the thursday show as the female who answered my call recommended and it was great
Price start from 20 UAH - 400 UAH
Note: the chairs was oldy , so if you don t like to share the next person smell.. take balacony)
a beautiful opera house ... the staging of master and magherita was terrific!
Previously, the opera was a place where people came to admire art. Now this is the place where they come, it is not clear why. Many requirements were written on the tickets, but everyone who violates them was quietly let through.
Beautiful architecture inside and out! Good location for Photos at the Wedding!
What a delightful experience! Shows every night of the week. Affordable for tourists seeking a special night out.
Lovely place to spend a special evening. Recommend seeing the opera Carmen and Mascarade Ball. Recently saw La Bayadere. The costumes were really beautiful.
Classics are eternal! There are a lot of classics here! But seriously - life is impossible without visiting this theater!
I was at the ballet for the first time on the production of "Giselle".
The ballet was pleasant, although at times it became boring.
The building of the opera itself will not leave you indifferent. Very beautiful, festive and impressive.
Previously, were on a tour of the "Ancient Opera", definitely recommend.
The toilet is very bad smells, wet and not cleaned. Armchairs are not comfortable.
Prices at the bar (during the intermission) are high.
A well-preserved building dating back to the Tsarist times. Inside, no replica. Great atmosphere.
Cool. It was possible to visit under Janukowicz, and now it is broken.
National Opera of Ukraine is the initial and the largest opera house in the country, having a history lapse of nearly 150 years. The leading masters, actors, choreographers, and ballet performers perform in there. The range of prices is rather varied, based on the location mostly. However, the bar and cloakroom service are of some outdated tilt, honestly, and infrequently, it happens to cause some discomfort in queueing or paying by card. Yet, the performance and original undertaking of classics are worthwhile, undoubtedly.
I love to go here to the Bayadere, Swan Lake or Giselle :)
The opera itself is cool, the ballet is cool, but the organization of the hall was poor.
Firstly, after the third call, about thirty people entered. There is a rule, after the third call not to let.
Secondly, a row of exposed chairs was made in front of us in the aisle, which people started filling up after the third call. They took tickets specifically so that there was more space in front of us, but there were no exposed these chairs.
Thirdly, on these exposed chairs there was a drunken woman who disturbed everyone, walked back and forth, moved her chair, barred people from watching, clapped, snapped her finger, raised and held her hand up throughout the act. Thanks to the administration, after contacting them, this woman was not on the third act.
A long time ago the restoration of the premises was not carried out. The acoustics are terrible. On the floors above, the view of the corridors is "better and better."
Beautiful place, performances at a very high level.
A charming place, one of Kiev's railing! In repertoire, exclusively, classical ballet and opera. One of the few places to wear an evening dress.
Extremely fabulous atmosphere! Getting here makes you feel a part of great and masterpiece art!
A beautiful opera in the original language and for funny (by European standards) money. But the public is behaving disgustingly.
Small flaws do not spoil the impression. As, for example, workers hurrying after the performance, urging the audience. Although such little things can be perceived as a charm.
Very old and nice. Good Sound quality. I enjoyed the backstage visit.
I went to see Carmen. The staging is simplistic, the song relatively extinct. However, the orchestra plays well
The building is beautiful, restored. It was built in 1856. And in 1867 they played the first production of Askold's grave. The performances are very beautiful and rich. I advise you to visit. On the site you can buy tickets.
Everything was just perfect - from price, to the show
Highly recommend. Everything except prices - encourages you to go to the shows more often!)) Modern ballet, in my opinion, has grown and updated a lot, the same can be said about the sets and costumes!
Good theater. Over 10 years, there have been significant improvements, especially with regard to the scenery.
Always wonderful performsnces. Some boxes are cramped.
Historic building, inside all in gold, marble and chandeliers. A small quest is to get out of the closet, because it is in the basement, and then return and pick up your things after the show. But the staff is friendly, always helps.
If you have come to Kiev, you should definitely watch an event in this beautiful opera house. Ticket prices are very affordable.
Kyiv Opera in Ukraine at the highest level. How many times was and everything was brilliant !!!
