Amazing aquarium, love how naturalistic the tanks are and how much space the animals have. Only 4* because there were quite a few occasions where there were no ID labels for the tanks so didn't know what I was looking at

Had a fantastic day, great for all the family. We took two kids and their grandma and everyone enjoyed themselves. Even better we got out day out here for free by using our return within a year tickets. Covid protocols were clear, and generally well observed.

Not good at all. Ok for car's to block coach turning bay, but if a coach who is bringing paying customers tries to use it, have to move. Obviously not coach friendly. Coach driver's should give this place a miss.

Quite expensive - you get the tourist-taxing year-long ticket as standard, but it's the best part of 50 quid for a family, and. However, there's lots going on around the different themed locations they have set up, so as long as you get to see some of the 'shows', you'll get your money's worth.

Great place for a day out, lots to see, including set times when they feed different species and do talks.
Tip - take a snack/packed lunch and sit in front of the curved tank rather than buying expensive food here. As long as you're not rolling out a blanket, nobody seems to mind that you've brought your own food in, especially if you've got little ones.

We have been before but never fail to be impressed. :) The octopuses were the star of the day for us with both of them being out and interacting with the staff. There were a few bits closed off as it was off season which was disappointing but did not really detract from the experience. As part of our ticket we were given a pass so we can return in the next year. We will definitely be coming back :) It is so informative and packed with ways to help the environment.

Great place, great displays. Need to have lit up the plaques beside the tanks that had the names of each species of marine animal. Too dim to read. Shop is a rad too pricey, reduce prices and sell in bulk.

Great place to visit, very informative and amazing tanks so big it's like being at the cinema. All parts accessible to wheelchair users, refreshments facilities very good to. Would recommend to anyone.

We spent 3 hours here and could have been there longer ... so much to see. Particularly loved the stingrays and the huge tanks. To give you some idea how big there were 3 divers were swimming with the sharks stingrays etc. A wonderful afternoon. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Well worth a visit.

Absolutely amazing. By far the best aquarium I have been to. I usually find aquariums a bit samey, but this one took me by surprise! The sharks are amazing, the Jelly fish are mesmerising and the turtles are charming. There is so much to see and for such a reasonable price. Definitely recommend whether it's a family day out, date, or a day out on your own even!

Great place. Largest tank in the UK. Staff really friendly and informative. They did a great info- show every hour. Food, as everywhere, is expensive but there are a good few places to sit and eat your own food and one with a brilliant More

By observation alone, you can see why the addmision price is high. But saying that i thought it was extremely good value, these guys are working for a charity which is commited to improveing our environment for future generations. Money well worth spent in my opinion. Our coral reefs are extremely important for our planets survival, so every little bit helps. We can all do our part, so if in plymouth visit the aquarium.

A great place to visit for any ages and especially for the lovers of all things marine. After all, the biggest aquarium tank in the UK is there, brimming with wonderful marine creatures to discover and to cherish.

Still haven t been in a satisfying aquarium here in the UK. This one was okay but very crowded and despite having the deepest tank in the UK then it never felt super special to be there.

No dedicated parking was a let down but the aquarium was enjoyable. Something to be aware of is that they have gone big rather than varied - not a problem at all though. The cafe was noisy..... Very very noisy and I would give it a miss if I want back again. Another let down was getting in and paying. On the day we visited it was very quiet but still total havoc. It is almost like it was designed to be as annoying as possible... If it was well done.

Great place, with friendly and helpful staff and lots to see. There is a large variety of sea creatures to look at and it's great for learning more about them and how we can look after them. They also have a section about creatures from the local area which is great to look at. A variety of talks and shows are on throughout the day usually as well which are great opportunities to learn more and ask some questions.

I have mixed opinions. As the staff were very friendly and informative and there were many fish to see. The building is very good on all covid regulations. The sting Ray's were very impressive however we did not have much time to look at them.
There were many small fish but not many big, even in the large tanks there were lots of little fish. We were also given a 3 hour time slot which we found almost impossible to fill.
There were some good and bad things. If you are looking for small fish and to learn from information boards it is ok however if you are after bigger creatures, such as sharks then you will not find them.
I appreciate that it may not be the right environment for sharks and other creatures however it is overpriced for what is in there.
I have mixed feelings but I would lean more towards not going as my personal opinion.
