King Khalid International Airport is an international airport located about 20 km away from the Saudi capital Riyadh. It was designed by the American Office of Architecture Helmut, Obata and Kasaboom. It was opened in 1983 to be the largest airport in the world by area. Development of the airport in terms of speed of travel and in terms of lounges, but prices remain inside the airport exaggerated The airport bears the name of Khalid bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, who was the fourth king of Saudi Arabia.

Though a fancy marbles, and state of the art facilities and architecture, is the main theme for the airport. Still you have to face a rubbish treatment from saudi authorities, and very unfriendly welcome to visitors...

The choices of food is although good, but limited to a particular types of cuisine. There is no alcohol allowed in the country, and hence no alcohol consumption or restaurant in the airport. You get all the facilities and a wide variety of your favourite cafes and food points, including Star Bucks, Burger King, Dunkin Donuts and may more. There is also a medical facility to help in case of any emergency. To better help you and ease the process of getting medicines that you want, there are medicine vending machines available that you can use and avail many health products.
The restroom and the washroom are kept clean and are hygienic as the other airport washrooms. The gates are marked well and can be located easily. It is not as big as the Dubai airports in terms of the shopping area, but you get a decent amount of duty-free products that you can take for your loved ones. The staff is not so polite and it can get hard to understand what they are trying to say as they do not speak or understand English very well.

Every thing in terminal 5 is bretty except the price of car parking 3SR/hour & not too much toilets also the tidy room for prayer not enough for many muslims.
The airport includes an official hall (the royal hall) and the number of passenger lounges is 5 lounges, which includes three internal lounges (two lounges currently operating and the other empty and not complete for future use) and two international lounges connected via four connected buildings, each of these three-planed lounges, i.e. with a triangular base The shape and its floor area is approximately 47,500 square meters. The length of each of the buildings connected between the halls reaches 168 meters and an approximate area of 25,000 square meters. The buildings contain mobile paths, restaurants, canteens, offices for airlines, government agencies and commercial markets. There are also three-storey public parking spaces for galleries, and can accommodate about 8,000 cars in addition to 3,600 cars on the roof.

The interior lounges are excellent and the design is beautiful and modern and the cleanliness and attention to the facilities .. And encountered in my trip to Jeddah inaccuracy in the timing of the flight, as in the boarding pass, I advise everyone to reserve your flight time before the time you want an hour or two
I flew from Beirut-Manila via Riyadh. Riyadh's airport has very little good food options while waiting for my flight. A decent duty free (no booze though but it is the Islamic Saudi State of Arabia). I am male and was treated with respect when I tried to use Google Translate to get my point across.
Great airport but in today age airport without Wi-Fi connection is useless to me. There Wi-Fi connection but can not connect at all. Also no one speaks English or willing to help. The direction to the gates is hard to understand it will exist instead of all gates. One more thing no charging location the entire airport and walked 80% and couldn't find one. The airport is great but not thinking out of the box. It's 2017 no Wi-Fi connection and no charging location the entire airport that is why I gave this airport 1 star.
Good facilities, customer friendly staffs,customs, emigration are helpful people,area slightly conjusted,when two three arrivals at a time,only two luggage coming belts available.another two terminal work is growing, inshallah waiting for good experience, regarding parking large area,but machine pay is time wasting.
The airport is well maintained. Airport crew is generally helpful to the passengers. The food options available is not wide, good for a quick bite. They have medium size duty free shop. The airport looks like overstaffed at times. The crowd is well managed at the check in counters as well as immigration area.
