King Khalid Airport is bigger in size when compared to other International Airports. Have lots of space but not utilised well.

There is no proper lanes for Check - in Counter. If we look from outside it's look like a crowd in the market. No international standard maintained for Check-in and baggage service.

Newly constructed Domestic Airport is better than the International.

None of the shops/restaurants accept any currency other than Saudi Riyals, which is quite disappointing for an airport that handles countless transits.
The terminal does have a Forex exchange, but they can't return any change if you only want a small amount of Saudi Riyals. So, if you arrive with only large denominations of foreign currency, you practically have no money.

It was a good stay there. I was in transit for 11 hrs on the way to canada.Satisfied with the facilities but sometimes waiting room cannot accommodate all pssangers when threre are too many ppl waiting for flights. We were lucky to had a separate room near big waiting room with the help of a local cleaner working there.Food and drink was good.
