We bought a Nissan Dualis in 2011, we have had nothing but dramas with it. It had a recall which we had to book in 3 times to get fixed, I was asked to take the car in to National capital Motors in Canberra. They had it all day and when I went to get it, they had not fixed the problem because they did not have the part. When I asked them why they called to have the car brought in, they were not apologetic and the manager was quite rude. Then there was an issue with the seat latch that took 2 months to get fixed. But wait there is more... we have kept the services up to date but every time we have taken the car in to Capital Motors in Canberra, we have had to reschedule because they have not been able to do the service on the first appointment. The car has only done 48000 km and now the computer controller needs to be replaced!!!!!! So we paid $570 for them to order the part from japan as there was none in OZ - pay before they order or we were out of luck, again great service NOT!!! this was 4 weeks ago. They phoned today to tell us that the car was due for a service. We said well wait a minute, we are waiting on a part for the car. "One moment I will just look it up, oh, yes it is here". We asked when did you get the part? "Oh on the 16 March - two weeks ago" May we ask why you did not call us so we could get the car fixed? Answer, "We have been busy, short staffed and have not had the opportunity to do follow ups". What the Hell Nissan!! We will never buy a Car from Nissan ever again. Anyone reading this page Do NOT Get a Nissan or Deal with National Capital Motors in Canberra you will only be disappointed.

Terrible customer service. Felt pressured to sign contract straight away.
Didn't get the model i asked to purchase. By the time i noticed, it was too late.
Made to sign away rights to bonus offer.

We were looking at Hyundai vehicles and they appeared to have a full range and plenty of stock.
The test drive was unaccompanied and easy to arrange.
They offer a tea & coffee facility for customers.
Staff appeared to be knowledgeable and advice was offered in a friendly manner.

Terrible service department to deal with. The car was 1.5 hours longer than promised time no contact and no apology. No tea or coffee facilities in waiting room for clients. On getting the car home noticed that the service computer had not been reset, the handbrake console had been pulled apart and not replaced properly and noticed a chip and scrape on the side of the car that was not there previously. Spoke to the service manager and arranged to bring the car back the following week. On arrival the service manager could not have cared less. Denied the damage was caused by them, of course. Before taking the car to them I checked the oil and it was pitch black, the car had only travelled 96 kms since the oil change so this not be the case. Was the oil changed at the service. I doubt it.
Dont use them, find someone else who would probably be much cheaper anyway.
Now have to get another oil change.

I recently bought a car earlier this month and I'm extremely happy with this dealership. I found the car online and because I lived in NSW couldn't actually test drive it. Jason made sure that all my questions were answered no matter how small in relation to the car. They also paid for the freight of the car, that resulted in my car being delivered literally to my doorstep! After giving the car a once over I noticed a scratch in the driver's window tint. I called up Jason and they paid for a new tint! Excellent customer service, great experience and would recommend them highly! Thank you NCM

Kim was exceptionally helpful and very Dilligent at keeping me informed through the process of purchasing a car. I ve read a lot of similar reviews on google and can confirm that Kim is both professional and welcoming.

They were always polite and eager to help! Would recommend national capital for anyone looking to purchase a new car.

We showed up at the dealer only to be told Suzuki had moved but the signs had not been changed and no indication of where to go. This wasn't off to a good start.

The sales person was very forceful on gaining information on how I was going to pay for the car and recommending purchase on the day to take advantage of sales before he had even pointed to the car I had never seen before.

Brought an automatic over for a test drive, when I had booked a manual. He found a manual though which was nice.

Didn't have it dealer registered so we couldn't drive it too far, if I was told this when I booked it, I probably wouldn't have bothered.

Sales person was not very helpful with information on the car and no sales books were available. After finding out that we were not ready to buy today I guess he just didn't care anymore.

10/10 will find another Suzuki dealership to take my business to.

I just want to say the staff i was talking to was good and helpful except the Manager . We like a car, did a test drive and finalise the price ($25,000) with the staff/sales person . Then we went to finalise the deal and want to do the payment. then Manager come to us and like to have chat with us and told us he can t finalise the deal with the price his sales person said ($25,000) and I have pay another $1500!! ($26,500). NO its not miss communication. Sales person clearly told the price ($25,000 drive way) . The way Manager!! talk to us is very rude and unprofessional. tone was insulting like if you don t have $1500 extra in your budge then whey you want to buy new car , go buy old car , you are buying new car not MacDonas (Yes he said MacDonas ) . we did not buy the car from this rude Manager . Hope that management will send him to do a course about how to talk Professionally with customer .

Bought a new car. Nissan Finance manager tells the that leasing a car is a waist of time, then immediately tells me that Nissan offers leasing if i'm interested.

Car came with 12 month rego. Had to call Nissan to get them to pay for the 6 and then 3 month components. Each time they refused until I forced them to open my account to prove that I bought the car comes with the additional rego. Each time this took 3 to 4 phone calls as Nissan refuse to return call customer calls.

The turbo just died after 20 months 50,000km, still under warranty. I take the car to the dealer first thing ask is did I fill he car with dirty fuel, because warranty does not cover dirty fuel. I asked where would I purchase dirty fuel from and how that would damage the turbo? I did not get a response.

I end up at servicing. Where I am told we will not look at the car for 2 weeks as servicing takes priority over warranty claims. And no courtesy car as we have yet to prove there is a fault. Mind you the car wont get over 40km per hour.

So 2 weeks later we are told we can get a car and the part has been ordered. 2 weeks later (1 month in total) with part being with Nissan for two weeks, we are told the car will be ready on the Friday. No one calls of course. We call Nissan on Friday nope car is not ready maybe Wednesday. Finally pick the car up on Wednesday, drive out down the park way...the A/C does not work, only hot air!!!

During the whole 4 and half weeks, not once did Nissan return any calls when asking for an update on the repair. But their web site proclaims multiple awards for customer service!

Words fail me as to how badly Nissan managed this situation and its still ongoing I couldn't make a this stuff up! Stay away!!!

So the A/C fault was a result of the mechanic damaging a copper pipe when the turbo was replaced. Apparently he was their best technician!

Buying the car, Nat Cap are OK. Once you leave you are on your own. They could care less about after sales service. They even had the nerve to ask why we don't take our car to them for servicing. Words fail me!

Frim the get go all the salesman behaved with class and Scott had so much information on the Suzuki range easily answering any questions I had. I was looking for a new mid-sized SUV. Kimberley from NCM Renault and Sid from NCM Hyundai were both brilliant. Both knew the cars they were demonstrating well and were able to answer my questions immediately.
I chose the Renault Koleos Intens, as it best met my needs; but it was close. Kimberley then managed the process of delivering my new car, including all the add-ons that I bought. Thanks for helping make the purchasing process so easy and fun!! The Koleos is a lovely car to drive, smooth and quiet, it also has lots of leg room in the back; which is essential as I have teenagers.

Great service from Josh. Purchased my first car online from interstate. Was a bit nervous about the whole process... but today my new VW Transporter arrived home!

Josh made the whole process a breeze, dealing with my finance team and also organizing transport for the Van to be shipped to me and the price Josh got for transport was very good.

All in all I ve had a really great experience with this purchase and would definitely recommend Josh and his team!

Went in for an airbag replacement on Wednesday the 21st of November. When I returned to my car my radio had been locked and my glove compartment has been broken. It is now Saturday the 24th if November and my radio is still locked even after following the directions given to me by staff as how to fix the issue they created. Horrible customer service!! I was booked it to get my airbags fixed and they confirm the appointment a night before !! We had the first appointment in the morning at 8 am ,When we arrived they said the parts are not here yet !! we have to reschedule!! I asked the guy at front desk that why did you guys confirmed the appointment if the parts weren t not here ! He said to me , that happens sometimes and we have to reschedule! Me and my husband took time off so we could get the car fixed because it s dangerous for us and our baby! He turned around and said nothing! He started taking to phone instead! So rude!! DO NOT GET YOUR CAR SERVICED HERE. I have had the worst experience ever, there is always an issue every time I have had the car serviced. I have had enough now and never going back. First issue, the sump plug wasn't put back properly after the first service, my garage floor is now oil stained. Second issue, they scracted the car, there was no apologies but did offer to get the damage repaired. Third issue, when taking the car back for the damage repairs I caught the mechanic doing 149km/h in a 90km/h zone from the auto link app, evidence is attached. The workshop manager didn't take any action and there was no apologies. Forth issue, when collecting the car from having the damage repaired, I found the not all the badges were replaced after the paint job. The auto link app also is now not working, I think it was damaged by them trying to disable it so I couldn't monitor the car while in their care. They said it was just a coincidence it broke. A new one was ordered weeks ago, after numerous phone calls to find out when to expect it the calls are never returned. This is the most incompetent bunch I have ever experienced with no customer service skills. It needs a new service manager to fix these issues.

My triton was getting it's regular service at NCM when a large hail storm hit that area. This was all well and good for every other car that they were servicing that day as the staff managed to get them all under cover in time. Unfortunately, mine wasn't so lucky. I collected my very hail damaged car and also had to pick up the cheque for the insurance excess because they stood firm with their claim of no negligence because I signed the waiver. I didn't even get an apology. Thanks NCM. I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

Extremely impressed with this dealership. They were in constant contact the week I purchased my car and always let me know when my next services are due to arrange a time. I have had nothing but amazing service from the staff at National Capital Hyundai and would 100% recommend anyone interested in a new car to check them out! They always do a star job at my services and even clean my car too! Would definitely purchase another Hyundai from these guys in the future!

The worst service on a car and worst customer serv...

The worst service on a car and worst customer service I have ever experienced. This company and associated service centre have not rated at all for me - but there is no option to rate 0 stars. I had a service on Thursday and the car was not drivable by Monday. On the service report the listed items stated to be attended included the review and inspection of an air hose, air filters, oil change oil filter change and many other items. NRMA arrived to assist me and identified the air hose apparently inspected was completely split from the turbo of my vehicle, making it unable to drive. This was clearly not inspected at the service 4 days prior. This company quoted me in excess of $800 for the part and labour and explained the part needed to be ordered form overseas as no parts in Australia.. and I would have to pay upfront. A quick search found a genuine part for my car in South Australia and it arrived three days later at a cost of $126.

On seeking assistance from this dealer at the service centre, the service manager would not even come out to speak with me, shrugging his shoulders and dismissing me from his office while I stood in the reception area. No assistance from the workshop foreman or mechanics. Thank goodness for the NRMA mechanic who helped me and recommended an excellent mechanic in the area where I will be taking my car and business from now on.

Sales - Purchased a car that was on sale. They went to get it registered and it didn't pass a blue slip cause it was in such bad condition it was not roadworthy.
Servicing - 3 weeks pass and still not fixed. Would you trust their service department if they can't fix a car in 3 weeks? Either that or the car they're trying to sell is in such bad condition it can't be fixed in 3 weeks which makes you wonder what kinda cars they're try to sell.
Problem Resolution - Spoke to a Josh to get a refund on the $11,600 I paid and in his exact words he said "Do you want me to make it difficult cause I will." All because I dared to demand my money that I rightfully paid and didn't get a car in 3 weeks.

So here's what you need to know before purchasing a car from National Capital Motors.
1. They sell unroadworthy cars that are unchecked before they put them up for sale.
2. When the cars are broken, they can't competently fix it.
3. When it all inevitably blows up because of 1 and 2, instead of returning your money, they will threaten to make it as difficult as possible to get your money back.

That's a fail in every aspect of the business so do yourself a favour and don't buy a car from these shonky dealers.

SPECIFICS
Purchased a car from NCM. Drove down from Sydney on a Monday to trade in my old car. After driving for 3hrs, I get a call 20mins from the dealership at Lake George saying the car failed the blue slip and wasn't roadworthy and will be repaired in the next few days. In the meantime I transfer the full amount for the car because they need the money sitting in their bank account for me to drive away.

5 days go pass and I get told on the Friday they have narrowed down the problem and parts should arrive Monday. No parts arrive Mon or Tues. I get a sms on the Fri (now 2 weeks) saying the parts arrived yesterday but they had ordered the wrong parts and new parts should arrive the following Monday. No parts arrive Monday or Tuesday so I ask for a refund on Tues. Emailed them as per there instructions. No response. Ask for a refund Wed, no response. Ask for a refund Thurs, no response. I call up and speak to a manager by the name of Josh. I'm upset because it's been 3 weeks and I haven't got a car which I need for work so I demand a refund. His exact words to me were "Do you want me to make it difficult because I will."

National Capital Motors then claims when I emailed them I must have input the email address wrong. I tell them I hit reply to their email so it's got to be correct and they then claim it must have gone into the junk folder. Weird cause they sent me an email and I just replied to their own email which normally would have their safety credentials. Money still isn't refunded. I send numerous messages all getting ignored. Eventually they respond and say the money has finally be approved for processing and they couldn't help the delay as "I send the request to our account dept to process as soon as I have it from you but it's beyond my control when they actually process it."

Failed in sales, failed in having a mechanically sound car, failed in repairing the bad car, failed in dispute resolution. Outright failure. Be careful buying a car from these shonky dealers.
