Mostly a large playground for children with old airplanes, there are also little bugs flying around and sitting on you.
Mostly a large playground for children with old airplanes, there are also little bugs flying around and sitting on you.
Good information about aviation in the past to now.
Does not make it to my childhood memories at Schiphol
Had a nice day out with 2 families, we had 5 children with us in the ages of 1.5 to 12 years. Everyone had a great time, it was a full-day visit.
Beautiful and interesting museum, especially for children a must.
Been on a weekday was very pleasant. Nice and quiet! I recommend anyone who gets the chance to go during the week to do this too! Very nice museum for aircraft enthusiasts! Cool that you can also just use a number of devices. Too bad that the top deck of the 747 was closed due to corona.
Nice trip for the whole family. Much history of aviation, with focus on the Netherlands and KLM. Enough to see, both inside and outside. Also plenty for children to do and fun, especially with nice weather. Here and there the red line in the museum is missing and you can see that some investment would not be wrong for a new coat of paint.
Nice set up. Very child-friendly. Nice for an afternoon out with the kids.
Well cared for nicely nice day especially the kids had a lot of fun
The Aviodrome makes for a very nice afternoon if you're interested in the history of aviation. The old Schiphol was very cool.
Very nice and educational for my son of 7! He's going to keep his talk over the klm. The employees of the aviodroom have told him a lot!
Super nice park, the park is well set up and the corona measures are very well taken into account and clearly indicated.
There is much to see and do for the children and you can view different planes from the inside.
Highly recommended
Interesting and beautiful location and ditto retrospective exhibition. Easily accessible.
Super fun outing to go to with the grandchildren. They also learned things there. There are several ways to keep the interest of the children when you visit. Movie was fun in 4D. Good clear corona rules, they pay close attention. And according to the grandchildren, the playground was also a lot of fun.
Nice park with ample parking, great playgrounds for all ages. Sufficient to see and experience
Very. An interesting place for aircraft lovers, but not only. A lot of planes can be seen. From the center. Touch etc. The ability to fly by plane. At the facility, part of the beginnings of aviation through the first flights to the present day, while retracing a piece of astronaut. I recommend a place for children as well as older ones. Alone or whole families. There are places for the youngest and older ones, a cafe and a small bar. recommend
A beautiful and cozy park with very friendly staff!
Nice museum about planes. Especially when it is not raining, it is advisable, because there is also something to see outside.
What a fun place to visit ... Definitely recommended ....
Great fun and a lot of pleasant education for children. recommend
Aviation from the beginning to the future. Museum both inside and out.
Theme park well done. Something for everyone, both large and small.
Nice park, lots of technology and fun to see the old planes again.
Educational for everyone and .. A lot to do for children.
Super nice museum for Kids and adults. Nice collection from WW1 to the present.
Especially the 747 and the Conny are already worth a visit!
Nice museum/park. Great to see such an collection of plains... in some of them you can actually sit
Very fantastic tour So many precious Fokker airplanes! And the real huge KLM 747 in the yard!Being a Taiwanese tourist, I also feel very surprised and happy seeing this familiar airplane model from Taiwan's China airline .
A disorderly jumble of airplanes, cars, prams ... partially unmarked, not accessible because construction site, unlit ... not recommended and much zi expensive!
Super fun trip, nice and quiet and very varied, extra like flight simulator costs nothing extra but is included in the entrance price
Really a fantastic theme park !!! Our sons 5 and 7 thought it was great. We have been there during the Easter holidays. It was very quiet there. Fun assignments for the children, very well cared for, ... lots to see and lots to do.
Lots to see and lots to do for children. Clear explanation. Also in English and German.
Not too big. Fun for young and old. Beautiful journey through the aviation time.
Clear explanation with signs and photo material. But also by guides.
Nice to do and see once. There are many play options for the children.
Nice and big. They have more or less everything there. And they have more or less everything there.
Well, we couldn't skip the Aviodrome this year, with all the plane fools in the family. The entire museum has been adapted to accommodate the COVID-19. Every room with a display with push buttons also has disinfectants. What a job it must have been to adapt it to museums.
Dad enjoyed the technical staff, old friends of the DDA. We also saw the flight of the Harvard. It was a great day.
Our four year old liked the slide the most, try again next year ...
We have been for the 3rd time in a period of 4 years. The last time there are more playgrounds in the country house built and the 4d movie you should definitely experience once. You really feel the wind and raindrops.
This is definitely recommended, very nice for the kids. Both inside and outside what to do
Nice museum with lots of outdoor play opportunities for the children where they also enjoy themselves
Fun for the kids. Entrance price a bit high, especially considering the paid parking in the middle of the polder.
Very nice, a lot of information. Space lab is fun for children and also nice craft and those things
recommended with children! also very wheelchair friendly!
We had a nice day here. The three of us Very nice for children too.
Really a museum for children, they can play, learn spill code, abseiling from a Boeing 737, fly in a simulation and much more! Occasionally if you are subscribed with their newsletter you can see when the still flying oldtimers come by.
Great fun for everyone you can play or play anywhere.
Nice and spacious, lots of space inside and outside. You can see many planes taking off and landing at the neighboring airport. Plenty of play opportunities outside for children. Inside there are many airplanes in the exhibition and every now and then things to make yourself for KIDS. Toilet, opportunity to eat and souvenir shop available. Everything nicely marked Corona conform, the distances and paths with arrows, unfortunately there are always people who don't seem to know arrows ...
A very impressive museum. For children in general and for aircraft enthusiasts in particular. Beautiful views of life-size airplanes of all time, various simulators and even children's jamboree.
Pretty nice to have done once.
Too bad that flying in a cesna costs 135 euros .... from the moment of starting the engine to stopping.
Is fun for small children. It is a pity that the flight simulator is not open for smaller children of 4 years old. Must be 6 years old. For the rest had a nice day. Otherwise a nice collection of old airplanes. So that you get a real picture of how it started. Also easier to explain to smaller children.
Excellent place, excellent experience! Visiting every year event FS is a must of my life! Also a museum is a very interesting place for lovers of aviation! I can not imagine the month of November without a big event and unforgettable place!
An unforgettable experience every year by visiting the FS Weekend, the best event for lovers of flight simulation, set in one place that is an aviation museum.
Almost same size as an aviation museum in my home town next to Tokyo Narita airport. The most eye catching exhibition is a 747 in KLM color. There is a picture while transpoting the body from Schiphol to here by boat in a canal, which makes me feel this is Netherlands. Another fascinating exhibition is a Lockheed Constellation. It s a beautiful plane. I saw some planes are under restoration in a hanger. Maybe it s the most interesting part for adults in this museum.
Looks a bit stupid from the road, but it is not drowsy at all. We have a great time, including our 6 year old guest.
Awesome!!! But how expensive is the food and drinks there !!!
nice for the kids, less for the adults. My children especially enjoyed the large klm plane that they could use.
Super nice our son had a fantastic time. Play and watch in 1 great concept. Due to the fact that it was being rebuilt and we were not bothered by it, we were given free tickets to come back again all in all, a top service ... Only minus point food is very expensive. And in the kitchen it was pretty chaotic. Vfrikadel that was fried too hard, a croquette still cold on the inside
A little bit for an aviation museum, but it is made up for by the beautiful boxes that are housed there. Opportunities to do other activities outside the museum. Watch out for the simulator though, it's a moving ICE train and all you get is getting nauseous.
Fun and informative for the whole family. Great for rainy days and close to Amsterdam, Utrecht and Almere. Plenty to see and do.
Parking space is available in front of the door
Nice museum where the history of Dutch aviation is beautifully described.
The consumptions there are very high.
Nice piece of aviation history. Most aircraft can now do with a coat of paint.
Unfortunately, I am a little disappointed with this museum, which may be due to my expectations being too high and because I visited the sensational National Military Museum the day before (see my review)
I didn't know that this museum was geared towards children rather than aviation enthusiasts
Per
walk-in KLM 747
KLM Cityhopper Fokker 100
DDR Mig 21
Saab Viggen
Walkable super constellation
Ju 52 fuselage with skydiver
The snack bar at the exit has good burgers and other dishes at reasonable prices
A lot is offered for children
Cons
Inside, the exhibits are far too narrow, often with the front in a corner, so that photography is almost impossible because the entire interior is in the half-light.
Unfortunately, the KLM Boeing 747 was put to the extreme corner in a shamefaced manner. Here too, photography is a matter of luck
The labeling of some scale models was incorrect. Example a Halifax was declared as a Lancaster.
The small space area is only interesting for children
The shop is only geared towards small children, which is nice in itself, but there was absolutely nothing to buy for adults. It's a pity!
Which rounded off my little positive impression. At the end you have to pay 7.50 parking fee, but that shouldn't cost you any more! In addition, the parking machine is overwhelmed with the entry of foreign license plates (mandatory entry), you have to go back to the ticket office and pay for the parking ticket.
The bright spot was the friendly and very helpful cashier.
A nice day out, but at the moment a renovation of the exhibition. For that a very generous compensation. Personal free tickets, valid in 2019. Great job!
Very interesting also very nice and informative for children
The Aviodrome has more themes. I myself manned a stand during the Flight Simulator Weekend which takes place every year. Visitors were very enthusiastic about this.
We had a very nice day here. When we arrived they were still busy renovating but that certainly didn't bother the kids from looking their eyes out. The nicest thing was that the children can also do a treasure hunt during the visit and get a nice memory afterwards.
So much fun for my son and us! The food court is overpriced but all the activities and play areas are wonderful
Awesome place for families and people in general. Great activities for kids
Fantastic museum with beautiful planes. Good admission price. You will soon be sweet for 4-5 hours in this museum. Highly recommended!
Fun for young and old, especially focused on flying machines. For the children also a large playground, and for everyone a beautiful terrace.
This is a theme park so NOT a museum, which (unfortunately) is clearly noticeable in a number of cases.
It is very doubtful whether a true historical airplane enthusiast will eventually become 'happier'.
W.m.b. a one-time visit is amply sufficient.
