This place e could use a better structured parking lot, the exterior is updated however the interior sections leave much to be desired and the restrooms are small and under stated. This place was once incredible and has the potential to still be incredible.

I went to the u2 concert last night with my family. We got $350 floor seat tickets. Towards the end of the show I left the floor area to use the bathroom and get refreshments for my family. When i went to return to the floor area, my self and others were refused entry. The security people that wouldn t let us back to the floor were not giving us any info on why we weren t allowed in or when we would be allowed back in. I was unhappy and kept asking the security people what is going on after a short period one security employee gets in my face and tells me he will throw me out if I keep asking questions. Before I got a whole word out the security employee pulls me by my arm and another grabs me by my long beard and rush me out of the venue. They called the police once we got outside, the officers didn t even get out of there car. Just let me vent to them. I spoke to a guy with a earpiece and who called himself a manager. I asked him for the names of the 2 men that threw me out, all I got was the security company s name. What started as an amazing night with my family ended with public humiliation for me.

Would have gotten better marks except for a couple of management problems. Number one, no security supervisor was outside of the building to move the people better. One of the gates had at least 200 people on line, while other gates had a few or no one on line. Number two, the signage outside is terrible. Some of the arrows make no sense at all. Number three, if you are going to charge $17 for a drink at least have top shelf liquor. All they had was some sort of no name gin. And to top it off, the female bartender had the personality of an empty glass. Thank God that Trans Siberian Orchestra was outrageous. It let me overlook the miss management of what could be a great venue.

Come here only if you have no other choice. I live less than 10 minutes away and it took me 45 mins just to get into parking lot. I could have gone to MSG quicker, and not pay $40 to park. Nassau County deserves so much better than this.

I went to the Islanders/Bruins game in March 2019. I had awesome seats and it was excellent until I was blocked by an usher from my seats. The man was rude and now I understand why the Islanders moved to Brooklyn. If I ever decide go to the Colesium again, they better have pleasant people working for them.

Not sure what the construction actually added to this place. The outer ring where the food is located is way too small and there's not enough vendors or bathrooms. Ridiculously packed full of people; you're fighting through a sea of humanity to realize the bathroom is a 20+ minute wait. Seating is slightly better than it used to be but still not very comfortable. The workers selling beer etc seem to ignore the higher up seating areas. Sound system and center stage are great though. Metallica put on an awesome show when I went recently.

I was there for a show and we were provided horrible service. I was extremely disappointed with the management and how they handle my issues with the wheelchair seating for my husband. Long story short, my husband had to crawl to his seat and they took his chair away until the end of the show. P.s. I contacted customer service afterwards for help and nobody responded.

This is the first time I've been here since the renovations and this place is great! It is modern and clean, lots of bathrooms. I came here on business and stayed for the basketball game. Tickets are $10 dollars! They food stand has hotdogs for $1!!! Really fun affordable night for a family, hard to find something like that today. What a fun time.

Remember the Coliseum before it was transformed into such a futuristic type structure pavilion! My business personally attended a business expo in May and there is much going on here! It's the future so there is always an option, as to making the trip to this event center all the worth while!

Terrible, not organized! Had to wait for 1 hour outside in the pouring rain and strong winds for the Billy Joel concert on NYEve. Lines to just get into the building had hundreds of angry people getting soaked in the freezing rain. They weren't moving at all because there wasn't enough security people at the entrances. By the time we got inside, we were totally soaked, and it wasn't very comfortable or fun watching a very expensive concert in cold wet clothes!!! Now, both myself and my husband are sick to top it off! I choose to watch this concert in the Colosseum instead of the Garden, thinking it was a better venue, never again!!!

First time after recent renovation, it looks like the same but cleaner aspect. I went for a basketball game that was really good. Great presentation, huge and good quality images. Good options for kids to go with alternative for them to play, since after a while some kids lose attention to the game.
I couldn't find coffee and hot chocolate on the stores. There was a situation with a special kid that got in the court during a break time show. I am glad that security didn't got in desperate mode and handle situation gently and with consideration to the kid and everybody. The kid wasnt doing anything wrong, just wanted to participate on the dance.

A little far from the city so you rely on locals. Parking lot has multiple entries and exits, venue has space for food and other vendors but is only half staffed during some of the smaller events. Bathrooms are definitely full of lines even with a half filled event. And the security was slow by stadium standards.... Barclays the other night this week had much better speed of processing.

Been there so many times. It's a great arena and clean, my problem is the concession prices. $7 for a pretzel is extreme and I think gouging, but it's like that in every venue. I would love if this establishment and others like it could reduce their prices so more families like myself could get out and enjoy life without spending half their mortgage payment to xo so. Security could be a little friendlier or at least a little sensitive to the elderly and not rush them through as if they were cattle.

The worst arena on earth. There is only one place that sells soda in the whole arena. Nathan's sells hotdogs but no fries. Who sells hotdogs without fries. That's messed up. Customer service reps were rude and ignorant. That place needs to be torn down. Not enough bathrooms for the Male population. The Nhl needs to shut that place down. Never ever going back there.

Nice upgrade for NVMC. One of the better third tier minor league suburban arenas in the USA. However, they play NHL here which must not be in a lower tier arena. Been to Islanders games here, views are overrated and crowd can be very elderly and docile holdovers from decades ago. Much prefer Islander games at Barclays Center. NYCB live is very frustrating venue to get to with total hororshow traffic and the design of the corridors and bathrooms is poorly designed.

Was here on December 20,2018. This place was horrible. First of all the show was suppose to start at 7:30pm. They did not let us take our seats until 7:15 pm, which did not start until 8:15. Second ,we sat all the way on top, where you could not see anything, because the last 10 rows all the way around was blocked by a wall. These seats are smaller, uncomfortable, and your knees hit the seat in front of you . I paid a lot of money to be blocked by a wall. So we moved down about 14 rows to empty seats. I didnt care if anyone would of said anything. Im surprised there isnt a lot of complaints for the first 10 rows from the top about the view blocking. I will never go back for anything again.

My favorite venue for wrestling events. Its easy to get to, the line is always manageable and the staff is usually very friendly. Average price for drinks/food at any venue such as this. The seats are the best and cupholders are appropriated. Comfortable and never stuffy or overly crowded, its comfortable.

Big improvements since it was renovated! Plenty of parking and tickets to various events are reasonably priced. Clean, refurbished restrooms. They just need to improve their concessions, it took way too long to get a drink.

Face-lift on the facade, but good old on the inside. Recount all the great times you had here because it is really the same despite name changes. With no 3rd tier, the nose bleed seats are decent. Ushers are friendly as always, ready to share a story or laugh! Seat prices are reasonable but parking fee is steep.

Worst NYE night ever. Paid $600 to see billy Joel and was held out in the rain for over an hour and a half. Spent the whole show soaked and angry. Nassau police apologized out of embarrassment as people were literally rioting to get in. Left right after 12 because we were scared we would suffer again if we waitied until the end of the concert. I don t expect anything in return but I hope
Anyone who reads this considers other venues new management is clueless and tonight coming from someone who used to run the bigger nightclubs in Las Vegas was a completely unacceptable embarrassment and Managment should be reconsidered I have never seen such a negligent management structure in the entire us. Everyone should be refunded and apologized to And that is being nice . Will never retiiren and I m a hard core islanders fan shame on the new ownership you made the place beautiful and ruined it with terrible Managment if you need help ask me but you butchered NYE for thousands of people that paid big money to attend. Discusting
