The room was attractive and comfortable. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the hotel is situated in the quaint downtown area of Princeton across the street from campus.

Attended a wedding, food was excellent. They comped the parking garage charge too.
I really liked the service my friend and I got while eating in the tavern
Only have been there for drinks and some events. The reception areas are pretty nice and the bar area has good access to TVs and an enjoyable selection of beers. Seating is relatively plentiful.
This is a beautiful hotel. There's a lot of history, considering its former tenants and Princeton. The staff is kind and extraordinarily polite. It's worth just stopping in to look, even if you don't plan on staying.
The bathrooms are great! That's the only reason I was there.
We have eaten in the restaurant many times and have never had a bad experience. The servers are always friendly, the portions are always nice and the food is always made with deliciously fresh ingredients. I highly recommend the Princeton Burger made with a combination of ground brisket Chuck and chorizo sausage.
Hotel is good, but taxi was absent at the r.w. station and it is difficult to go to supermarket .
I attended an office Christmas party here. We had 3 private rooms upstairs, which had plenty of space to move around. There were also scattered stand tables and comfy chairs available. The food and drinks were on point. This was perfect for our party, but I could see this space as a perfect place for any significant event.
I ate thanksgiving dinner at the restaurant. It was a buffet dinner. The food was good, not great. The variety was limited. The waiter never offered soup which was included. Overall pleasant but not remarkable. Not a great value either at 50 a head with tip. Would not go again
Yankee Doodle bar was filled with lots of local color and history
Great location. Historical place Complimentary coffee am and cookies pm. Nice staff. Well priced to service. Older construction and rooms look dated.
Beautiful but small rooms. Wifi was bad. No mini fridge. Air conditioning worked well
I stayed at the Nassau Inn for a business conference early October. I did find the character of the hotel very nice, located in a nice area. I was offered some breakfast vouchers as part of the package [which I paid for]. My wife had to cancel her plans for a family health emergency, which also caused me to leave early.
I asked for a refund for the vouchers which cost me $56 - and was told their policy would not permit that, but I was welcome to keep them for next time. When I escalated to the manager, she simply repeated the rulebook. I can't believe they would take a fee approach for something that cost them nothing.
They were more focussed on their rules, than a happy customer; I won't be back.
Room Tip: Make sure you know the rules before you commit.
It's good hotel. It's very convenient located in the center of the Princeton.
Great location walkable to Princeton University, but no free Wi-Fi in the room.
been here a number of times, the venue is nice and the prices are fair
Great Burgers, great service, in an atmosphere of continuity with the past, oak molding and paneling on the walls with initials carved in them from generations past. Photos of football teams from the 1930s 40s and 50s, tables deeply etched with 70 year old carving and an original Norman Rockwell mural on the wall. What a great place from the center of America's Revolutionary War oh, the city where the computer was invented.
A little dated, but great location in the heart of Princeton. Prices are a bit high
Clean comfortable. The tap room is nice near shopping and restaurants close to Princeton.
Hard to find parking. We visited the restaurant and service was poor and food choices were also limited
Just went to use the restroom and they were very clean.
Great beer but stick to the basic pub fare when ordering food.
The drinks were overpriced ($9.00 for a beer). The service wasn't great. The manager was rude.
It is a nice hotel very comfortable specially for business trip. Candid service, comfortable and clean room. There is an iron and its board which is very useful. The location is the best in the Princeton area. The improvement point: extended kitchen hours for room service
Lovely atmosphere. Comfortable room. Great location. Very helpful staff.
This is definitely the place to stay near Princeton. They'll give you a card to access a nearby garage, so park at the entrance and check in first. The views aren't great except from high floors in certain directions, but the location is great.
food was good, outdoor seating is really comfy; get the fries
Old charm and a bit of history. Make a point to visit!
Attached to the Yankee Tap Room in Palmer Square. Nice bathrooms.
Great stay as always. Clean and comfortable. Close to shopping and nightlife.
Fun unique hotel close to campus and lots of great restaurants.
Great service. Comfortable, clean room. No free wifi.
Limited menu, lousy service, food was average. Will not be going back again. There are so many nice restaurants in Princeton with really good food & service!
Fantastic food, gorgeous grounds, historic cozy environment. There are almost always fresh baked cookies in the lobby and they're free. All the famous Princeton grads have their pictures on the walls, and there are a LOT of them! Einstein even carved his name into one of the tables. Yes, THEE Albert Einstein. And to kiss the one you love in front of the red door around back is said to bring good fortune to your relationship. It's also smack in the middle of downtown Princeton so great restaurants and shopping are all well within walking distance, including the famous House of Cupcakes - 3 (maybe 4 now) time winner of Cupcake Wars and they deserve it. The wife and I were married at The Nassau Inn and we'd do it all again in a heartbeat.
Nice bar area. Friendly bartender. Atmosphere feels nice.
I visit this place a lot since I work in the area. I like how their service is always good and they keep the spot well organized at all times. Rates are affordable and they serve generous portions.
Great location. Lots of character, rooms are modern and have the usual conviences. Direct access to Yankee Doodle Tap Room, for all meals and drinks.
The drink with the cucumber and rosemary is SO GOOD. Chill environment
Absolutely horrible. Food barely inedible. Service non-existent. Stay home you're better off with tv dinner.
Spent a week at their place in Princeton: loved the room (very clean, spacious though the lighting was pretty bad), loved its location (the walking distance from everything (some of the cutest stores and best restaurants in Princeton are around the corner like Mistral and the famous fine dining Elements, Jules thin crust, Agricola Eatery and many other amazing breakfast/lunch places like Jammin Crepes!!!). PS: the hotel own restaurant is pretty good too, the only reason we would rather go outside the hotel every chance we ve got was because there s practically NO RECEPTION inside the hotel (so ANNOYING!) and the wifi is pretty bad too even if you pay for it!
They had a coffee and tea table in the lobby during the day and also a bunch of comfy chairs and couches around. Also a computer and a printer to use in the lobby if needed! The 3 elevators worked nice so we didn t have to wait much when going out or in.
The hotel doesn t have its own parking and it can be pretty busy/loud as they are hosting many events for bigger groups - like tons of loud kids!). I appreciated their gym, though small (2 treadmills, 1 stationery bike and one elliptical) but it was nice cause it had water, towels, a fan, mirrors, some small weights and 1 mat).
Yes, I would recommend the hotel and I would stay with them again!
Would go again yas yas extra moose sauce please mmmm so pink
We hosted a party here and it was lovely. We were lucky enough to get a room in the historic part of the Inn.
Good. Cozy , traditional relatively old hotel near Princeton University. Don't expect all large newer hotel amenities.
Was there for a wedding reception. The food and room were great, and the staff was friendly. The building had some accessibility issues that made use of a wheel chair a little difficult.
Excellent location, spatial room in downtown Princeton. However, it charges for Wi-Fi and cable internet. Food is good.
Old but nice. We had a large room and large bathroom. Bed was comfortable, room was clean and furnished nicely however the shower took forever to heat up and drained slowly.
Great beer selection and decent food. Great place to meet with friends
Very good venue. Good service. Bathroom distance from the hall was a bit too much.
Right above the princeton campus, comfortable rooms, right in a cozy shopping district
It's always great visiting the Yankee Doodle Trap Room.
Excellent environment and very friendly service. The food was fresh and yummy. Will easily recommend this spot to friends and family. Reasonable prices and large meals. Keep it up.
No better place to stay in Princeton. Great atmosphere.. It was in walking distance of shops, restaurants, and events.
The rooms are small, convenient location, it s within walking distance of restaurants & Princeton University.
