Friendly welcome, clean house and park, very nice starting point for bicycle junction and walking routes. Very varied water-rich landscape. Many children's play facilities. Minus outside the weekend in the off-season catering not open. Certainly recommended for a quiet holiday.

Of course, only the villas next to the water
We stayed in one of these villas for two nights. All wooden cabins with beautiful views along the water pool
The apartment has two floors and has good facilities
Of course, detergents were minimal and should be provided if needed
The park was very quiet and there was little traffic
In the part of the park, there is a children's playground and there are a variety of gaming equipment.
The admission process took place very quickly, and although the time was 15 o'clock, we accepted the key two hours earlier with the receptionist.
There is no supermarket near it and it must be by car

During the telephone contact, the employee told us that we had better book a camping pitch in advance, because they could not guarantee that there would still be space. Well .. we arrived the same at the reception of the campsite to make a reservation and there was a lot of space. In fact, only 9 places were taken (out of 170 places)!
Everything was closed! No catering! Nothing! Swimming pool was only open for 1 hour a day, even at 35 degrees and some days not at all. There are signs on the campsite stating that at 20 degrees or higher, the swimming pool would be open from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. And the website says 'heated swimming pool'. It's not heated, it was freezing! The pool is shaded by the large trees. Employee also said it was not heated. In a number of places it was a dump with discarded mobile homes. There was also a lot of junk on the property. The lido is also useless. It looks like a nice bath, but when you go in (past all the rubbish and mud, because you will hardly get anywhere) you will come out completely covered in mud and mud! At the park many guests were complaining (some regular guests of a camping spot or who rented a house. At the moment it is a site that is neglected. And then dare to ask 36.18 euros for a camping spot per night! stood at the farmer They told us it was because of corona. This is taking advantage of the situation. Cleaning up all the mess has nothing to do with corona. And not opening the pool while that information is being shown and not yet heated! We will never go back!

Last week we went to holiday park Heelderpeel. Company makes up for a lot, but the campsite was very disappointing. On arrival it turned out that the catering industry did not have a permit and was therefore closed, the swimming pool open 4 hours a day and there was no question of a lido. Here you can paddle to the maximum and you end up with black feet from the dirty water. In addition, the rented house turned out to be inadequate on all sides. Everything was worn out, broken and convertingly dirty. The nails came out of the wall and there were cobwebs with dead flies in every corner. After filing a complaint, she turned the story so that everything was perfect. People would come from far to enjoy their water, while no one is sitting there during the day. Very unfortunate and especially that the complaint was not taken seriously. It is not a good idea to return to this campsite.

The chalets are very small. You can rent a bed for the small ones, then you can only place it in the "living room" instead of 1 of the 2 bedrooms. It looked tired, the floor was broken, the cutlery was dirty. But the most remarkable is that the beds have a real slatted base ... of the stuff you buy at the hardware store ...
Wifi was listed, only available in the mall where then the store that was listed is not.
all in all it was a disappointment

I have been here twice now, in February and September, in a Dalvic villa. Me and my dog like it very much here. Beautiful bike tours possible and at the house with a lake dog with a long leash can splash in the water :-)

Catering not open / no permit. Swimming pool not open, only in good weather. They cannot give WiFi codes. Camping good places, spacious. Sanitary good, hot water for washing dishes, and no coins needed for showering.

Quiet, beautiful park! At the moment, however, probably in the conversion or renovation phase, some parking spaces have been dug up and felled trees are lying around!
We stayed in one of the waterfront villas! Very relaxing to sit on the terrace by the water when the weather is great!

Small drawback: it could be a bit cleaner, in the bathroom we also had a visit from a small ant colony! But kept within limits! Otherwise a beautiful house with a relaxing whirlpool and sauna!

The atmosphere here is very nice. Quiet and in the middle of nature. But the cleanliness in the house it hapert. Many places that were simply and seized were not cleaned. On the stove were fat leftovers, in corners is dust and dirt, in the oven are still leftovers of various meals. And the toilet brush knows more than just toilet paper residue. For 6 people are too few plates, cups and other utensils available.

Super! We have been here for a midweek in the autumn holidays with 2 people. We have a lot of fun here. We stayed in one of the wooden houses. They were very nice and cozy. The park is nice with a golf course. The swimming pool was closed during the autumn holidays. There were a lot of leaves on the golf course. We actually wanted to play golf here and then the staff gave us a broom, so that despite everything being closed, we could play golf for free. The staff is very friendly and the park is in a nice area. Close by there is a lidl and a few nice places to eat. Much can be easily reached by bicycle.

A brief visit, but a nice site for camping overnight. A small swimming pool on site, which was refreshing in the warm weather; although the changing facilities by the pool have seen better days. All the staff we met were multilingual and able to resolve problems with the minimum of fuss.

Our experience after 4 nights camping with a tent at holiday park Heelderpeel in Limburg is particularly bad. A big fail.
In terms of facilities a major setback, compared to what is offered / promised on the website.

Upon arrival you will be told that both the shop and catering are completely closed (still pending a permit). The site indicates "pick-up possible". That turns out to be a chip van that is available on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 4 pm. For example, bread / milk you have to leave the camping site in the morning to the Jumbo in the village.
The outdoor swimming pool is only open at a temperature> 20 degrees from 1 pm and you can register for a maximum of 1 hour per day.
For the "swimming lake" it was not possible to indicate whether the water quality was okay (whether there was no blue-green algae or similar); do not dare to use this.
Everyone can enter the park in this way; the barrier goes up for everyone (without an access pass) -> This is detrimental to safety in the park.

In short, damper on damper, the 1st introduction to De Oostappen Group did not meet our expectations at all and was very disappointing to us.
I wouldn't book an overnight stay here again.

The campsite has been owned by Peter Gillis since this year. In the middle of the breeding season, he decides to cut a lot of trees without a permit. Very illegal. This is to be expected from a man who proudly proclaims: "mass is the cash register!". If you are a bit of a nature lover, you will not give this park a single cent.

A beautiful park for nature lovers and for people who come for a rest. Less suitable for children in November in terms of animation. In the summer this is completely different. Nice area with fun activities. Certainly recommended.

Attention families! Stay away from this park !!! Not only that the house Darvik has seen better days and cleanly cleaned is to be understood differently, one can especially forget the lake Helderpeel. Swimming in this lake is NOT possible! Shortly after the bank area you are up to your knees in the mud and a putrid smell comes to the surface. Like everywhere around the lake. Bathing for children is not possible anywhere around the lake because it is not deeper than when it is 1.50 m. Narvikhomeparks advertises here on their homepage and on all portals such as booking etc. with lies through and through !!! The Internet presence of the Narvikhomepark Heelderpeel is far from what is offered, the photos must be more than 20 years old and you get a picture that doesn't even exist. It's an outdated, rundown park !!! The park is absolutely nothing for families with children because you have to walk long distances to other lakes due to the beach which is always closed. The unfriendly staff top it all off ... For seniors who only want to sit on the terrace, ok, for families with activities a real flop!
If you book there, you can't help ... Amen

Moderate park. The chalets where we rented one of them are manageable. Very small but nice. It is difficult but fine for a weekend. Beds are okay too. But you have no privacy. There are no glass curtains or the like for the windows, so as soon as you open the curtains you immediately have a full view of everyone. In addition, the curtains also hang half in front of the TV when you sit on the couch. The heating works well. No cold suffered. Seating on the couch for 4 people is questionable .... but as said for a weekend just doable.

Then the park itself ... in many places it looks like a squat or rubbish dump ... collapsed caravans or areas full of furniture and rubbish ... no catering, shop or any other facility other than a toilet. The water on which the site is located looks beautiful, but around it it is also moderate. Not really places where you can sit or kids can play. It is also unclear where you can and cannot come and the staff was unable to tell you this. Adequate provisions have been made for the dogs! Think of poop bins and bags. Also an area where they can be let out.

What is very disturbing is the people that hang out there. There is a lot of speed on the site, which is not pleasant if you are walking with a child and dog. Nobody seems to adhere to the speed limits in force. There are also dubious people hanging around. Loud music can be heard. All in all, this means that it gives a mixed feeling here. Here everything seems to be possible or something ...

The only reason why I gave 2 stars is that everything worked in the chalet, even if it was dated, but cozy and everything is there. And the facilities for the dogs. That is well arranged here and should be the case at more parks.

The area was beautiful, but we will not come back for the time being.

Spent a week at the campsite in a chalet. The chalet was very dated (sofa broken, screws coming out of the wall, cracks, dirty black corners etc) and not properly cleaned. Many dead flies had to be removed before we could eat. There is not much to do in the park itself (swimming pool hardly open, catering closed). There is a natural pool that we were very much looking forward to. When we got there we were very disappointed. The water is very dirty and it comes to your knees approx. It was said that people come from far away for the natural pool. In the week that we were there (the week of the heat wave) there were about 5 people every day. Unfortunately, our complaint does not take the management of the park seriously. We will not come back here.

During the breeding season I reported to the municipality of Maasgouw that an entire forest was being cut down at the Heelderpeel holiday park. Cutting down during this time is prohibited by law. Many decades old trees have also been felled here and there in the park.
The municipality was informed and told me that there was also no logging permit. The illegal logging started when the Opstappen group (mass is cash register) took over this park. With this hood they show that it is only about the cash register, nature does not count for them. If you care about nature, don't spend your money on the Heelderpeel.
