I love Nakiska been going for years went on a stint for 7 year before getting back into skiing and it was awesome there are plenty of slopes for beginners and intermediate. There also some difficult slopes to try out. Staff are friendly and very knowledgeable!

Having lived and worked in the Village Nakiska has always been enjoyable . Even when nature doesn't supply the right stuff u make the best of it ! Close to the city, cheap passes for other RCR resorts with yearly pass . Groomed and un-touched runs including the always Fun Glades. If u are a whiner & cranky-pants don't visit - more for ME !

Decided to go tubing for my sisters stagette. We had people drive from Edmonton, Calgary, Red Deer and Lethbridge. The website said the operations was opened. When we got there, we were told we were supposed to check the snow report or we should've called. I just checked the website today and now it says this information. We weren't even apologized to for this misleading information on their website and was told to try other places. Wasted hours of everyone's day to go to the Tube Park.

The runs were all awesome, very clear and fun. Basic amenities are included which is good. The food though, disgusting and extremely expensive. Location is good, close to Calgary. Service good. Definitely recommend it!

We did the level one skiing class and were real happy with the whole thing. However the instructor said "oh yeah you're totally ready for the Bronze lift". In actuality we had no idea what we were doing. Other than that, it's a nice place. I recommend going during the week.

Very good for early season to warm up and get ready for this winter. There is some icy spots that you need to control your speed. I saw some kids fall badly because they go too fast and can't control their speed. Thank you very much Nakiska.

It's close to Calgary and is spectacular when the snow conditions are perfect. Unfortunately, it has a reputation for icy skiing conditions. Lift tickets and season passes are cheaper than competitors: Sunshine Village and Lake Louise.

Close to calgary. Ski instructors usually quite good. Kind of icy and very busy though and they shut down some lifts until almost january. Food is good in cafeteria. I would recommend coming here if you dont want to travel too far from Calgary.

This is a good place whether you are a beginner or an expert. For beginners, they have Magic Carpet area which was free earlier. But I guess due to Covid-19, to restrict the number of people, they have put a $10 fee per person.
They have inside cafeteria where you can sit, eat your home food or buy from there. Their Deli has a veg menu as well, though it's very limited. They allow you to stop your car for roughly 10 minutes at the entrance to allow you to unload stuff and then you can go and park in their giant parking lot which is just 2 minutes away. They even have a rental/repair shop. We got our skies repaired but then it took them a few days to fix those. They have a ski school as well. We can see a number of instructors teaching different age kids. They teach snowboarding as well. usually they have a lot of staff everywhere in the ground to help visitors. This time I even saw a paramedic with a dog. Overall a good place to learn and practice skiing.

Nakiska is kind of like the home field for Calgary skiers/boarders. It's a full mountain with lots of great runs and it's an hour or less from most of Calgary. It's not as diverse as Louise or Sunshine, but it's $30 less/ticket.

Boarders beware - the Olympic/Gold chairs have a bunch of flat terrain. Tuck in and go for it.

A local favourite with world class history! We hadn't visited in a while but we're so impressed with the late season snow. For spring skiing there was no ice! The Monster Glades were exciting to ski and the lines were basically no existent. We're hoping to get back out for the final weekend.

They tried their best in the pandemic. Our class got canceled due the instructor was no show but I still like the resort coz all the employees are great and tried their best to reschedule.

Best place to learn to ski around Banff area. If you have a young child under 5, get them a Tiger pass for 22$and they'll be able to go all season and pays itself off after 2 visits.

Had a lovely day at this mostly family hill. Beautiful sunshine. Unfortunately 2 of the best runs were closed for race training and the top t bar was also closed (they were digging it out) and the high traverse was closed for.... no reason I could tell. 18cm of reported snow was closer to 8cms. But I still had fun. Besides... the worst day of skiing is still better than the best day of work!
