Absolutely fenominal, can't say the same about my mate on crutches he was disappointed there was no lifts and you can't swim in the lake which was a huge disappointment as we all brought our swim shorts, snorkel and towels.

Awesome mainsail pal with 15 lakes from one level falling to another. The lakes at low level are awesome. You can get a view of great water falls from the peak. The national park is very huge it will take an entire day if you do it slowly and in a relaxed manner.

A 3 hour drive from Split, and well worth it!
This place is marvelous, and a must see when traveling Croatia. Can be very crowded on the boardwalk and patience is the key. Take a hat, water and snacks, a camera, and wear comfortable shoes suitable for dirt trails and rocky paths. I spent 5 hours walking from Entrance 1, taking a boat across the lake, and walking further to T3 at the far side. T3 is the uppermost lake, and the stop where you catch the "train" back to T 1 (and a further klm back to the Entrance 1 car park). Boat and train are included in the entrance fee.
Entrance fee 110HRK per person
Parking fee 7HRK per hour
Road Tolls from Split 168HRK return
Note...do not walk in the reverse direction as some reviews recommend. That is a stupid idea, and you'll be "fighting crowds" the whole way!!

Such a beautiful place, I advise coming in early for the 7am opening and doing the whole area. Will take about 8 hours with a breakfast and lunch break. Bring water and a backup battery for phone or camera. Free WiFi in main rest areas.

Stunning . Definitely need 2 days for this one. Really easy to get round. If you do the K route, you need good shoes. Can get very busy but the views are the rewards for a little bit of patience at times. Food is reasonable and great portions too.

Great place to visit even in winter. Spoiled a bit by large tour parties with people who have no awareness or respect for others. Primarily intent in taking selfies and rapidly moving to the next vantage point and blocking the views for others.

Amazing place! A must see in one's lifetime. A lot of people though and being there first thing in the morning is recommended. We walked more than 12 km and were so amazed it was not a problem. Bring good shoes and a lot of water.

Amazing views, very nice to see ! There is only 1 downside to this place. Is soon crowded it's nearly impossible to walk. Lucky there are longer routes 6-8hours witch is less crowded. This route took us 5hours.

Also go there as early as you can, you don't want to stand in line for an hour for tickets. We already had to wait for 30min while we arrived at 7:30am.

In the end the beauty of the lake is all worth the trouble !!

No words to describe this amazing place. So pleasant ant therapeutic to explore it. Go as early as you can to avoid the crowds and take your time on longest path you can do. Each and every lake has something interesting in itself to see. The internal organisation, with information, signs, boat and bus transport is admirable.

Absolutely stunning - both upper and lower lakes. Pretty easy hike, albeit can be long if you do the whole thing. Highly recommend doing the whole thing - do it in two parts: late afternoon (but make sure you get tickets before 5 as ticket office closes then) and morning to avoid large crowds.

Calling this place Beautiful is an understatement. It is so scenic and so very heavenly. The trails are all worth it. The natural springs, wooden bridges, the boat trips etc.. All make this place an unique experience to remember

This us a must-see place in Croatia! Plan on your walk around this place to take about 4-5 hours if you really want to take it all in. Dress in layers especially a rain jacket. The maps and trail signs are not good and it's easy to get off course. Be sure you know when the bus picks up and when the boats take off because you could get stuck. Absolutely beautiful time!

A wonderland of lakes and waterfalls. We spent only half a day here, a week would have been just nice. There are hiking trails to various sections of this park and boat rides. Hotel and restaurant at the main entrance and kiosks at another place. It was drizzling when we were there and foggy, which just add on to the beauty and add on a touch of mystery to the place.

A nice national park but very crowded during high season. Go early and buy access tickets before the tour busses arrive around 10 in the morning. Else you will spend an hour queue. Boat rides usually have long queues so go to ST1 and take the buss back instead of the boat at P2.

Beautiful but badly managed. To busy, poor walkways and not enough viewing points. Also check where you are staying. Our lake tour was a very rushed 4 hour's but the whole trip took 15 hour's!! Our driver and tour guide were awesome.

This is one of the best National Parks that I have ever visited. With its lush green forest and clear blue waters this place is so pleasing and you feel like you are admiring a wallpaper. You need at least two days to walk through this beautiful park. Very well maintained. Good parking facility and good discounts for students. You may have to wait in queue to grab your general tickets, students have different queue.

Wonderful place, but getting in is not easy. We booked our tickets 3 days before the actual trip and arrived 2 hours earlier then we had estimated. They did not let us in, so we had to wait for 2 hours at the entrance.

Stunning scenery. You can do the basic circuits in 1-2 days but it is worth taking an extra day to do a forest trail. Either start early or later to avoid the significant crowds in the summer months

Absolutely fascinating, an obligatory stop of any trip to Croatia. A little crowded even in the off season, but that can be expected. It is definitely worth braving the crowd.

Bit of advice, visiting this place in autumn or winter is great. It's just as beautiful in the winter as it is in the summer, there's less people, and the entry fee is seriously lower.
