Myrtle Beach Chrysler Jeep Review

We just bought our 4th Jeep Grand Cherokee from Lou Davis at MB Jeep. Lou is professional, competent, conscientious, cares about his customers, and as always, is a pleasure to work with.
Terral Altman (Sales Manager) was equally impressive on all fronts . . . and we had some special requests which Terral went above and beyond to understand and handle expeditiously - saving us time and money along the way. When it came to completing the transaction, working with Finance Manager Chris Foster, was also a pleasure. The whole car buying/trade-in experience from start-to-finish totally exceeded our expectations. And to top it off, we got to meet and chat with Bobby Gale and Robby Gale, both of whom were extremely gracious, and were totally focused on our satisfaction and our best interests . . . hard pressed to find a dealership from the top down like that!

We just had the most positive experience! We had a slight mishap on our journey from New Jersey to Myrtle Beach. Brad from service said to bring it through our Express Lane. We did the next day. While we were waiting, we struck up a very pleasant conversation with Tim, a salesman. When our vehicle was finished, Brad came to get us and told us there was no charge. What a wonderful experience! I am so pleased with this dealership!!! I actually sent my mom and aunty ahead of me to test drive and feel out the car in which I was interested. Madison was so helpful and great, even brought the car by my work so I could take a look. She was amazing at explaining all the benefits of the jeep compass and was intune to the features that she knew someone like me would find most useful. In the end, the entire staff from Bobby, Dan, to Steve (our finance guy) made us feel like we were already part of this amazing car family. I originally gave a 5 star review but I cannot stand by that any longer. I bough our used vehicle 2 months ago. I had NOTHING but problems after I purchased. I was lied to and not given pertinent information about a mistake on the paperwork as well. When I called to talk to the sales manager about my problems I did not even get an apology. The only person who seemed sorry was the finance manager. He was very helpful and did what he needed to do to right the situation. I think we got a great vehicle but I would not purchase from here again.

The best experience I've ever had when purchasing or leasing a new vehicle was provided by the terrific team at Myrtle Beach Chrysler Jeep. It began with sales associate Melanie Nelms, who worked closely with sales manager Michelle Smith to develop a great deal for me for the new Jeep Cherokee Latitude that I wanted. I can't say enough about this terrific team. Now, I just hope their service is just as good!

I know have definitive proof I have been 100% lied to and will be contacting the state attorney general over this matter. I HAVE an open complaint with FCA as well. Liars from minute one and you don t press them hard they will never live up to the deals made on their own.

My mother has a vacation home down in Myrtle Beach which we visit frequently. While down there we realized our Dodge Durango needed service done. Myrtle Beach Chrysler Jeep was more than accommodating on getting us in asap. The Service Manger Matt Flagg was friendly and very thorough in explaining what the Durango needed. Service was quick and we definitely will be going back there our next time down. Great job Matt Flagg and the Service Team.

Just stopped by to look, and saleswoman was very helpful.

Ripped me off. I have problem with transmission so I ask for diagnostic. She said we ll be 120$. So I left my car Friday afternoon - Monday I going to dealer ask what s the proble because nobody call me. She said yours car has lot of codes but technician can t found problem. She recommended replace whole transmission. Ok I ready for pay diagnostic fee and now huge surprise 505$. I ask why is 505$ if you said we ll be 120$. She said mechanic working 4 hours so we charge you for 4 hours. She newer call me or ask for authorization for extra work or money. I feel ripped off. I spent 505$ for nothing. Still don now what s wrong with car

It was only my second time there and both times they were able to get me in and out with no problem will continue to go back

Terrible customer service. Took four days to get our car fixed, they ordered the wrong parts. Tried to charge us $100.00 more than they quoted over the phone.

Went in thinking I wasn't going to buy anything and walked out 3 days later with a brand new 2015 White Jeep Grand Cherokee. Can honestly say I am in love with it. Thank you to Michelle and Eric for the help!!

Very unhappy! We are military never been to South Carolina before. Came by this dealership saw a truck we liked got a great deal. Sounds good right? Wrong they did not notify to us that in South Carolina you have to pay a property tax on your vehicle. Nor did they tell us it was not added to our fees we paid. So surprise 2 mo later still no tags driving on expired tags because they forgot to do our registration and tags, and now a 500$ bill for property tax when we thought we already paid it! Would never recommend this dealership to anyone!

We worked with Melanie Nelms when we traded in (2) vehicles and bought our Grand Cherokee. She was very helpful and was very responsive to all of our requests. Great service and she did a great job of locating a car that met our exact requirements!

Justin Riccioni meet me as soon as I pulled in. He was very cordial with a firm handshake. I told him I would not be a good sell for him due to my fixed income and need of a low payment. It didn't phase him and we started looking. He excused himself to go inside and came back out and said he had the perfect vehicle that met my budget. I took it for a test drive and was impressed. It also had a lot more options than I expected for the price. I was convinced this was the car I wanted. The paperwork went well. Justin offered me a soda and snack while I waited. Overall it was a good experience with no pressure. I will definitely come back here if in the need for another vehicle.and feel comfortable referring anyone else here.

We purchased a used 2011 Hyundai Sonata from MB Chrysler Jeep a few months ago. We asked our salesperson if the vehicle had any problems or had been in any accidents, the reply was NO! A lie! We tried to trade the car at a different dealership only find the vehicle had been involved in a side impact collision, as a result the dealership wouldn't consider a trade with our car. We revisited MB Chrysler Jeep to ask for assistance but they just gave us the run-around and offered to make some more money off us. While waiting in the parking lot for service other customers approached us advising us to find a different dealership, unfortunately they were to late.

Don't make the same mistake! Find a dealership who appreciates your business!

I was talking with one guy. let me test drive a car. Very nice. Not pushy. Then another gentleman come in and was talking about some numbers real quick and did not even know what car I test drove. give me the wrong price than what as up on their Web page. It was a substantial enough difference and I walked out of there.Do YOUR reasearch of your own cars.

This group of sales and service staff are better than any other dealership I have experienced anywhere. Brad in the service department deserves special mention...the guy knew how to get my warranty work done fast and correctly. Parts were ordered and service was performed MUCH faster than expected, and this place was busy. Brad called me with status updates and pricing information multiple times and just plain rocked out my combined recall, warranty, and service needs. Wish I had gone to this dealership sooner.

I had a bad experience with my local Jeep dealership and swore I would never buy a vehicle from them. So, I went out of town 2.5 hours to Myrtle Beach Chrysler Jeep. I was not sorry. I wanted a specific color Jeep Wrangler, which they did not have on site. Michele Smith went above and beyond and searched a 500 mile radius and found my vehicle. Not only did she find it, she sent one of their employees to get it for me. The dealership where she found my Wrangler did not include the side rails. Michele added the rails for me at no additional cost then went on to help me find a Navi/Stereo upgrade at a discounted price. She and my sales person's, Jenn Wiley, main goal was to make me happy and they did. If I ever decide to buy another Jeep, I will visit Myrtle Beach Chrysler Jeep again.

I was looking for a M3 and ran across one at this dealership. The problem was that i reside in California; however, dealing with Wade Griffith made the whole process very simple and i felt very comfortable closing the deal from 2500 miles away. He was super helpful and sent a collection of pictures and kept me in the loop throughout the whole process. A couple other people deserve a callout as well, Robbie Gale which got the financial pieces together and Dan McColl the GM. They all worked together to get me a great prices and ship the car across the country in excellent condition. But honestly, if you're looking to purchase from this dealership, go to Wade; he really worked extremely hard throughout the deal. Much appreciated.

HORRIBLE service dept. I took my Jeep here thinking it was going to been done right and by professionals, Boy was I wrong! They were supposed to be working with my insurance company to repair my vehicle. The insurance company told them what to do so they did that and extra (to the tune of $2,400.00) without my consent or the insurance company. I had to pay 2400 to get my Jeep back after a week of arguing back an forth to no avail! This misunderstanding was somehow my fault that they did not follow procedure. Now that I have had my vehicle back for 3 days it has been back to this dealership twice because it is not fixed correctly. I no sooner got it in my driveway ( 5 mile ride) and there were fluids covering my driveway! It goes back in tomorrow because it is making a god awful noise that it never made before it went to this dealership. Filing with BBB in the morning! BEWARE and go to a different Jeep dealer!

I purchased my vehicle from this dealership. I made an appt and took my car in for an oil change because I got a coupon in mail. Was there for 2 hours (I did mention I had an appt right?). I noticed my vehicle was leaking oil. It was leaking oil because the brainiacs put the wrong size oil filter in my car. I took it elsewhere for a real oil change. Was a waste of my time and my money. Wrote a letter to Bobby Gale. Heard nothing in response. Jaskass. Will never do business there or any of his dealerships again.

Called to get a flat fixed. Someone said just come on in. I get there and Steve Clark says we do not plug tires anymore. We need to check inventory to make sure we have a new one for you. Booooo. Why did they not know they do not plug tires when I called. In for a bad day, right? Wrong. Steve was great! He checked inventory, made sure new tire was really there and did all the paper work for me to get road-killed coverage to pay for it 100%. Then gave me a free oil change, and took care of a new recall. The drove me to a resturant while car was being worked on. After a great Mexican meal my car was done, things put back as they should and all worked fine. No effort or cost to me. Thanks Steve.

I have dealt extensively with car dealerships in Kentucky, Tennessee, North and South Carolina. I even worked as a salesman for a reputable Honda dealership in Kentucky, and I have no problem saying that Bobby Gale's Myrtle Beach Jeep / Chrysler has by far been the most impressive, painless, and satisfying experience yet. They were honest, helpful, and the sales manager and my salesperson worked magic to get my into a new car (I'm credit challenged). Nothing but pros for this place!

A complete waste of time. We went in looking for a specific price that we could afford, and all they could do was try and trick us into financing something we couldn't afford. They lowballed us $1000 less than any other dealer in the area. They used childish techniques like "you are literally making us lose our jobs with this deal. The boss left angry..." and "WOW, you guys seriously have an amazing deal BUT if you don't do it by tonight we won't extend the deal tomorrow. We're not forcing you to pick today though." Oh and all these childish games came after we explicitly said over and over that we were not interested in buying same day. Total jokers. I would advise anyone thinking about this location to try any of the 10 or so dealers in the surrounding area instead!

I had a very positive experience at Myrlte Beach Chrysler Jeep when (no pressure) salesman Frank "Elvis" Gallitto helped me purchase my brand new jeep. He was very patient and explained everything I needed to know about operating my new vehicle. He even went as far a programming everything inside my car. We keep in touch and I recommend him every chance I get.

I visited got an estimate promptly. Visited the next day - work was accomplished in good order within the estimate. I got my vehicle back without a "smug" on the paint and it runs perfectly as you would expect.

Make sure you get everything in writing. These people lie to you just to sell you a vehicle. Also an extended warranty that they say is "bumper to bumper" but in reality doesn't really cover any more than my normal insurance does. Don't even get me started on their customer service. Their after sales service is extremely woeful. Avoid if possible

I will never do business with them again!!! Was told that I was approved for a brand new car all i needed was my pay stub...since it was time for them to close I had to wait until the next day...my trade-in was approved...everything was set...just before leaving to head to the dealership the salesman "keith" calls and said that I wasnt approved and that I would have to bring in an additional $1,300 on top of my trade-in. Ok if I was approved just last night...what changed in less than 12 hours?

Was on vacation and saw a jeep we liked. Stopped and checked on it. 65k for a 40k jeep. They had put a lift, wheels & tires, bumpers and some lights on. Once I heard the price I asked what the real price was. Salesman and manager said it was firm. I have lifted several different trucks. So I knew they were marking it up 100 to 150%. I thanked them and went to my truck. Manager ran me down and instantly dropped 10k off the price. So he was ready to play ball. Gave them my info and told them to call me when they wanted me come in and sign. They ran my credit and shot it out to lenders. The next day I called and they were in the process of signing papers on the same jeep to someone else. After they had already started running my credit. When confronted they were not even apologetic. Yet another company with no business ethics. So if you aren't willing spend the entire day there getting the run around, or know what you are talking about and negotiate a better price they will sell out from under you. They don't care about you, your credit, or standing up to a price they agreed to. Go to Conway to buy your jeep.

Excellent customer service from two gentleman while searching for a pre-owned vehicle.

We purchased a BMW on 9-11-19. Since then have only put 2k miles on it going to work because I'm scared to death something is going to happen and not be able to afford it. Reason being within a 100 miles after purchasing car it needed a $250 oil change. And come to find out the car was never serviced. And here and there service and check lights come on. Went in last week and was told can't trade due to owing too much on this car. O really! Wonder why? If they tell you no worries and they will do whatever it takes. Get it in writing. So now I'm screwed. Merry Christmas

I went to this dealership to look for a used car they had listed online. I am thankful that Frank Gallitto was the first to approach me when I arrived. He was patient with showing me the original car I came to see and all the other cars I asked to look at and test drive. He is extremely knowledgeable of the Jeep and Chrysler brands. plus the used cars in inventory. His personality and mine clicked from the start. I truly enjoyed my car shopping and buying experience with Frank. He went the extra mile and showed me all the various "bells and whistles" my new Jeep had, once I decided on and purchased my new vehicle. He was funny and even quizzed me on all he had shown me on my amazing new Jeep. Frank is the best and it would be my honor to be able to buy from him again.

The experience buying my car was great 2 years ago, however as a owner of 2016 200 Chrysler i wouldn't advice anyone to buy this car. So far i had to get a battery, a set of tires bc of a bad alignment, the lost of power while i drive, $200 for a hole in a pipe, now my motor light is on, and all this within 2 years of having the car! Not satisfied at all! I should have purchased a Honda!!!!!
