Flagrantly and repeatedly disregard requests for ending of subscription unless impossible list of hoops is jumped through. Wait an eternity on phone before another transfer. Atrocious and contemptuous service.
The app is ok when it works, having said that it either crashes or stops working a lot. When this happens the wait for the helpline is about 1-2 hours only to be told the tech people aren't there and they'll call you back tomorrow. They never call back. Very frustrating trying to run a business and not being able to invoice anyone.
Questions were answered, however too much waiting time to firstly speak to the operator and then further wait times to speak to the specialist, unable to have call back . Over an hour of time wasted waiting.
customer service is not professional. Taking too long to solve very simple issue. (Separating two company files to each company's email address as two company files are currently managed by 1 email log in ID)
I want to cancel subscription but have to complete to issue Payg payment summary for employees. As soon as it is done and completed to make a report for 2019-2020 financial year, I will cancel straightaway.
I already subscribed quickbook 2 months ago, their customer service is also not always perfect but at least they answer phone quickly, you don't have to wait for 1 hour to speak to customer service like Myob.
This company must be located in HELL!!! I have tried numerous time to access their "support" team and waiting times are just crazy; every single time it was over 90 minutes! Then you speak to someone with Indian accent who can't really help you. Go elsewhere if you know what is good for your business!
Since migrating to the online version our company has had nothing but issues. The waiting time on the phone for customer support is atrocious. Reading other reviewers comments its about time Management take a good look at themselves. For a public listed company simply not acceptable.
The product might be good but the word service is not in their staff training.
Impossible wait times for someone to answer the phone then you are passed on to another wait time. Can't you take a phone number and phone back as most other firms do BUT THAT IS TOO EASY

Not sure why we pay support fee $$$$$ per month when support is poor. Be prepared to wait hours before you speak to a human. When I upgraded to the cloud the first call I was on hold for hours the total call took over 4 hours. Even then the problem was not reolved. MYOB hire more staff you make enough money on your customers.
Terrible support service for online portal! On hold for 20 minutes and still couldn't get through. Also tried to start live chat to get help and no response there either. Lift your game MYOB!
Very disappointed at the seeming lack of concern by MYOB to an issue raised that will affect anyone who does regular recurring journal entries. It is an big issue that is likely to cause errors in financial projections and EOM accounts, relating to the fact that in version 2019.2 and 2019.3 if you pick up a journal entry that has been recorded from a recurring transaction and reverse it, it updates the recurring transaction to the reversal. The outcome of this is that next time you pick up the accrual transaction you will be recording the reversal instead of the accrual. Fine maybe for experienced bookkeepers but for anyone new it could be a problem, or for newish sole traders etc who don't have much bookkeeping experience. There are workarounds but they will take significantly more time and attention to detail when previously this wasn't needed. Now considering moving to Xero after 20 years loyalty to MYOB.
AccountRight Plus is feature-rich and easy to use on the online version. MYOB is regarded as a reliable software product and now online - thank you MYOB!
Very disappointed so far, sent a file to MYOB to be migrated into the new online version. Was told 24 hour turn around, has been 6 days now and they can not tell me when it will be complete. Too bad if I need to do payroll
We are small business that has used MYOB since 2006. Just updated our company file and was insulted from the operator that his system doesn't recognize 20 year old software! Last time I checked it was still 2020. The main features we use haven't been changed all this time so why upgrade? MYOB got too big for its own good and forgot its customer base.
MYOB Account Right is a fantastic product however the wait time on the phone for support needs looking at. When we updated to this version we needed some initial support and the wait times were terrible. Not one to complain but this is one to work on!!
Constant software bugs. Negligible online support via Facebook or elsewhere. Lengthy hold times to speak to foreign call centres who can t fix my problem. This product is crippling my business. Look elsewhere for a convenient business solution.
I love the online version of MYOB. If I have any issues, I have the phone option or lice chat option. I like the live chat as I can copy and paste the conversation so I have a record of what has been discussed, very handy for future reference. It also works well with our inhouse system.
Worst customer service we have experienced. Even though you wait for an hour on hold, the staff are unable to assist you and make you go in circles. As representatives of the company, who have had full training, how do they not have answers for a simple query such as a missing letterhead on an invoice? Xero Star for MYOB.
Brilliant and easy to understand and use .Now i do not have to submit any paper work to my accountant they log into MYOB and get what ever they need .Very happy

Ohhh the greed..... They'll get you in with a cheap offer, then just keep jacking up the price. Yet another increase in software costs. Seems every time I blink these guys raise their fees. Obviously don't give a hoot what their customers think.
Have been on hold for a support for an hour. Really needed the specialist advise from MYOB to ensure the system is running the correct TB report by calendar year before provide it to the auditor.
MYOB is so user friendly. I recently updated my product and I am loving the online services (eg. Bank Feeds). I enter transactions every couple of days, match & approve in Bank Feeds and voila .... end of month done in minutes. Love it!
My client has an older version of MYOB and is a small business. They will no longer provide a confirmation for him - on a product he bought. Less than honest.
I appreciate the help given. However I was not able get my most recent transactions as I my last backup was in 2016. I have to abandon MYOB as my transactions are less than $5000 dollars per year now and I will have to use excel. I am grateful for having MYOB in use for 20 years.
Third time on the phone over 90 minutes, OMG you will go out of business at this rate. Maybe Xero is a better option? Don't ring near 5pm or they will say they are transferring you to another dept and you will just stay on hold until you decide to hang up.
Terrible terrible TERRIBLE customer support. It is virtually non-existent. You will spend 2 hours waiting only to be greeted by someone that talks down to you only to be redirected AGAIN for another hour long wait. They will tell you it's only around the end of financial year but that is NOT TRUE. I tried posting on their forum asking for help, NOTHING. I have to spend half of my day trying to get in touch with someone to fix the most basic issues. And when you finally get in touch with customer support, they are not helpful whatsoever and take a very long time to answer anything you have to ask.
I regret committing to MYOB, this is just unacceptable.
We've been using MYOB for 5 years approx. Software is very good, but their help is anything but helpful - I've only called a handful of times over the last few years, but I have been given incorrect advice by the MYOB staff and experienced rude staff with bad attitudes, which really is a big let-down for the company.

Time to give MYOB a big miss!!!. Just paid nearly $2000 yearly subscription only to be locked out online and unable to access my files. BUYER BE WARNED!! And have to speak to a call centre overseas to rectify this problem. MYOB used to be so good.
The original MYOB was superb and the new version is trying to copy this but with a 90% replication accuracy. For instance I was able to run a straight mutli period P&L and now I have to perform a number of tasks to get close to the same report. Help lines are a lucky dip.

Used it for 15 month I tried to call customer service to cancel my subscription , the staff attitude is really disgusting . was in the monthly basis,There was nothing on the website or anything said I should give 10 days notice prior to cancellation . They are ruse &useless when comes to customer service
Will not use them again or recommend to anything !

I am not super computer literate but Bridget was awesome and extremely patient as we worked through the installation process. The new program is great and the new features are great. 5 stars for sure
As a customer of 19 years my experience of MYOB in the last year has been quite disappointing . Basically, there is NO value for customer loyalty and if you pick the option of purchasing a new product then hold times on the phone are minimal but if you pick the option 2 ( existing customer) hold times can be quite long . Furthermore, if you have problems with billing no one gets back to you despite being told that some supervisor or team leader will do even after calling multiple times. Service was 100% better in our experience when they were a smaller company.
MYOB probably was a great product back in the 1990's.
Now the visual presentation of data is woeful. The ability to share financial information is beyond complicated. The constant updates, ability to log into the system is admin heavy leaving the user with a high work-load. And the help belongs from a bi-gone era.
MYOB is a product designed by people who don't do the work.
Hopefully one day someone on the product side will stand, even for a brief moment, in the customers footsteps. Walk in the customers shoes. Walk in the customers' accountant's shoes. Understand why the word MYOB stands alongside tired and draining.
Terrible server. So many bugs and generally not user friendly. Im stuck until i get upto date and then i will change but getting upto date near impossible with their horrible network
good on line help to install and upgrade was excellent but the software AR ver 2020.1 is not helpful or easy to use compared with Ver 19 Entering the relevant bank accounts needed is not easy with error messages that are not helpful . I just need a simple bank statement reconciliation program , not all the extra features
Th lady I spoke with was very friendly and helpful. She solved all my problems within a short time. I cannot speak too highly about this lady. I am sorry I didn't write her name down, I was just so happy with her service.
As a long term user and loyal customer of MYOB I have recently experienced continual problems with 2 factor authentication. Despite calls to Customer service it still has nit been resolved.
MYOB have the best customer service attitude & their programmes are much easier to use than any others that I have tried. Keep up the great work. Much appreciated.
The online MYOB is really bad and customer service cannot seem to help either. We emailed complaints and they have not responded. Our business is report based and we cannot generate reports and have to put in overtime in order to do our daily chores. Certainly do not recommend MYOB

Until MYOB supports personalised business stationery - invoices etc - I don't see it's value to my business. A very limited set of templates and no wiggle room to make it relevant to my business.

however i do find i can not delete invoices, some sales do not show on report, payments made do not appear on report till the next business day payments made not showing on customers statements items remived from an invoice just disappear and do not fall into credit
Just to advise that some of the staff who works there are so incompetent, they were so negligent which wasting my time to ring out for the mistake they did. To wait for them to pick up the phone was so unbearable. How can people do business like this ?? The product is good, but the people who works there needs more training when it comes to customer service.
Absolute nightmare working with MYOB. When I call for a technical support, I basically have wait for over an hour before someone answers the call. Furthermore, they put me on hold for hours shamelessly. I request for a callback and I never get called back. We are an IT MSP looking after over a hundred clients and now actively seeking for the alternatives. You claim to be the best in the market while you can't hire more people for support and to reduce waiting time. All the best MYOB on losing over $10K a month from our clients.
We experience "rounding issues" on a weekly basis which are making our financials look like a dogs breakfast. Inventory items mysteriously double at random intervals with absolutely no cause. For a company that makes accounting software, you'd think they'd know how to make accounting software.
Using MYOB Live has changed the way we process accounts in such a positive way! Sure, it has its moments but what program doesn't? I would highly recommend MYOB to any business needing a reliable accounting software program.

Easy change over still trying to work out old to new, but for a slow old plumber not really liking to use computers it is slowly happening. Staff were easy to deal with and a great help with the upgrade.
Very unfriendly and unhelpful staff!!! They set up an account for me and it was the wrong one i didn't need essencial but accountright and i realised it after 2 weeks. Than i changed it through the phone akd now they won't give me 50%off as Iam not a new customer!! Very disappointed! We are a small business, still under construction, sonwe are not even opened i think you should support business in this pandemic.
Absolutely disgusting customer service, it s basically non existent. They used to have customer service in Melbourne, now it s overseas. Staff aren t trained properly, spent 2 hours waiting on the phone today and still unable to speak to anyone. Lady on the phone telling me she can t transfer me to Melbourne. It was never like this, but has taken a very drastic turn for the worst!! Not impressed with this company anymore and will look for an alternative for my $2000 per year!!
