Myiweb Review

Do not use MYiweb. They are a horrible internet provider. They have no stability in their connection and that is if you ever are connected. My internet has been down for a whole week now and everytime I call them it's a different story. First I was told that they are experiencing problems with their tower and now all of a sudden they can not connect with my router. I was promised a technician would call me back within the hour but that never happened. REALLY BAD ISP !!!

Terrible service. Had issues with the router from the first day and they have been promising to send someone for a week. When I call in, I'm told no ticket has been logged and the person I spoke to "doesn't work there". The worst service I've ever received.

Update: still terrible. what a waste of my money

Terrible wifi provider, internet unstable. You actually lucky to have your wifi working for one hour without any interferences. Honestly its annoying. Can i please get one month where my internet does not get interrupted?

Hey guys, im writing this to save you alot of trouble down the line, the first few months with myiweb was decent not many issues, but after that it went to absolute hell i was with myiweb for 2 years and there hasn't been a month without constant internet outages or issues. and when there is load shedding your internet will be out for 4 hours a day no matter what. Also if you have an issue prepare for your emails to be ignored, people giving the same excuses every time when you call about a fixable problem. I've finally been able to change isp and it's been wonderful.please do not even consider myiweb every company has problems but myiweb has too many to be a viable option

Please people of south africa if u are looking for an internet provider do not go with Myiweb. They don't have a service at all.Every week u will send emails about no service and no reply.At times u will have no internet for two to three days a week almost every week.They are quick to take ure money but provide no service as per contract agreement.Poor Poor Poor Poor Poor company.Dont understand how u still operate???????????

I will just say that when fibre is finished being installed later this month I won t be considering this crowd as an ISP based on my general experience with their wireless product. It s about as stable as a drunkard on ice skates.

Terrible service, if you guys want good internet don t go with MyiWEB

Our internet has been down all day, been calling the support Centre 20 mins at a time and get now answer.

The product is terrible I cannot get support purchased a 100mbps line upload and download getting speeds on 5 mbps. Support does not respond they dont respond to emails, calls etc. I decided to cancel the service wrote a cancellation letter and got no response, but the email was read. Called the company they will not allow you speak to the CEO or provide a name. I am struggling to get the service cancelled.

I don't recommend MyiWEB, terrible service, rude staff, management not available to and cannot be connected, applied for a service Vumatel installed the line, myiweb just dropped off a router and left the service does not work Myiweb is blaming Vumatel, Vumatel blames MyiWeb. Vumatel. Vumatel was suppose to come out today at 08:30am confirmed appointment they never arrived.

I spoke to the reception lady Phumzile she is arrogant rude and I told by her that management will not take my call, they in meetings. I am disappointed.

I asked to cancel the service they won't assist.

Absolutely shocking service! You are almost guaranteed to go atleast one day a month with no internet! When you call in, consider yourself lucky if your call gets answered, but rest assured that your problem will most probably only be fixed four hours later(minimum) Mxm.
Steer clear of Myiweb, and save yourself the hassle. It s almost surprising when you do go a full month without any prolonged internet outages. But I must admit that the internet speed, is fairly consistent.

Very Good Wireless ISP!!! I'm in Johannesburg South and there service and support is amazing!!! Keep up the good work MYiweb!!! Recommended for wireless internet in JHB south!!!

Initially the internet worked just fine, but for the past two months I have not had a steady working internet connection. There are no responses to email enquiries, I am currently struggling to get a response on a cancellation I initiated in September. Please consider a different internet service provide if you are looking for one.

I have had my Fibre with Myiweb for the last 4 months and i am very happy with their service. Only thing that i could recommend them to do is be a bit proactive and let your clients know VIA sms or Email if you are having some server or infrastructure issues . I had one small issue and i had to get a hold of the technical department to find out what is going. But other than that am i very satisfied with the service i had so far.

Turned a bad situation into a pleasant one. Great advice from technical team! And fast responses from support. Thanks everyone

Don not buy MeiWeb, the top reviews you see are ones they wrote themselves or paid others to write. I have been dealing with speed and connection issues since the beginning. They are the only internet option available in my area so I cannot switch, I called them for 4 months straight about issues and they make no effort to resolve these issues, they lie about capping data, the shape your internet and throttle speeds, and they are extremely unreliable. If you want the absolute worst service and terrible internet connection choose these guys. After about 6 months of calling my issue was finally fixed then about a week later it started happening again, now I ve been calling them and asking them to fix it for 2 months and there has been no progress. I cannot stress enough that you should avoid these guys at all costs

Do not choose MyiWeb, The internet will go out about 10-15 times a day (disconnect for 10-15 minutes) They will slow down your speeds and lie about it. If there s an issue they will lie about when it will be resolved and what the issue actually is, it feels like their towers go out every week at around the same time. If you have an issue no problem they ll fix it in about 8 months and they issue will be back in another 2. All ISP s are bad in South Africa but MyiWeb is most definitely one of the worst.
