Wonder why this is not getting privatised. Passengers and public seen only the beautiful lighting and the extra large parking area for morning and evening walks. Something you should realise is that the govt owned (AAI) Airports Authority of India which is now the airport operator is so not doing their job the way how they should.

One of my cousin travelled today and there was a huge queue in front of the counters. When asked about the reason the staffs where saying that the airport authority staff were busy quarrelling with airline staffs instead of switching on the baggage conveyor. This is so not acceptable.

They take huge amount as passenger convenience fee and they make us stand for hours for no reason. People in the top seats should look into AAI's unprofessional attitude and change it at the earliest. Without we the customers flying and out of Trivandrum, they won't have revenue to survive Trivandrum airport. No wonder why it's getting privatised. Better be privatised and give facilities like Cochi or Bangalore or any other airports.

Nice, clean and spacious airport. Good parking area, Nice staffs. Easy boarding and immigration hence not much crowded . It is connected to NH 66 with a distance of 6 kms from Trivandrum Railway station or KSRTC stand. It operates with 2 terminals terminal 1 domestic and 2 International

A great airport. Enough facilities. Usually and end point. Have your food from outside, if you re looking for value for money.

Small and Quick airport. But you won't get many buying shops there, anyway they are useless and have hefty price. Eatables shops are inside the airport. Very less crowd.
The airport staff is helpful and easy to approach. As every airport, it is very clean. Flights are mainly for major Metropolitan cities and not every other city. Also, the airport do announcements and not a silent airport.

This is a review of Trivandrum International Airport when I was there 3 years ago. Trivandrum International Airport is part of the Airports Authority of India. And that also includes Kannur International Airport and Calicut International Airport. There is a limited number of airlines at these airports compared to Cochin International Airport and Security measures are very different. And there are not to many Duty Free Shops, Restaurants, Bookstores, Cafes, etc., compared to Cochin International Airport. And you have to arrive at the airport for international flights 3 hours before your flight departure. The bathrooms are clean and the Immigration people, when entering the country of Kerala, India, were pretty helpful and honest. Overall, it is a pretty clean and decent Airport.

Nice airport. Terminal 2 is for international flights plus all Air India domestic flights. Well maintained and traveller friendly.

One of the best airport in kerala, well designed, well maintained and nice ambience, not too much traffic even though having heavy rush.

Very good airport with parking lot for a large number of vehicles. Airport is easily accessible from the city. But for domestic flights are not operated here except those of air india and jet airways. Terminal is not that big compared to other major airports in the country.

Easily accessible from city.Spacious ,but less in house entertainment.few choice of restaurants and snack bars.

It is one of the first airports in india and first in kerala. Started operation in 1935.

The airport will close for a special celebration day of travancore royal family.

I have been here more than 10 times and I must say that the airport is of high standard barring few negatives. The travel towards airport is not of much difficulty as it on the ByPass. And the Road inside the Airport is also well maintained. Coming to the Drop Off/Pick Up Point , it is well organized and you are forced to leave within the stipulated time by the staff. Inside the airport also everything is of highest standards.
However I have noticed the following time and again:
Priority is given to some vehicles to wait there for a longer time with the knowledge of the Staff. Toilet is not clean always. During some visits it is very clean and sometimes not. And also they are not providing adequate Tissue or is not replaced when over. To be outstanding you have to maintain high quality always.

Very bad experience from bhadra staff at trivandrum international airport

Good service but one thing he asking for money for parking that's ok no problem it's journey for my brother just one thing here have some worst flights it's really bad

With out no parking board they charged 500 fine money looting airport management already paying high parking fees and again they charged these type of fines. 10 vehicles parked same line only 2 vehicle got fine

Is there is terminal 3 in trivandrum and which is the biggest airport in kerala?

There are two airports in Trivandrum- one domestic and the other is international (this one). During night time domestic airport functions from this airport itself.

It's a smaller airport as compared to other state capitals in south India. Uber and Ola are not allowed in airport campus, so you have to go out of the airport area (approx 2-4 Kms) to get Ola/Uber. This rowdism cannot be tolerated since the airport taxi folks charge a lot of money.

Located inside city, airport facilities are at the best , free WiFi access is available. Getting pass the immigration & security check is so easy . Visitors entry is permitted close to check-in area and seating facility is also provided.

International Airport in south India serving people from South tamil nadu and Kerala. Well organised and neatly maintained airport.

Has both domestic and international airway services. Most of all the flights had an arrival and departure here. Lots of luggage trollys. Large and high security system. Lots of parking areas available. Easy to be found because it's near the trivandrum bypass. Fully clean and nice airport. The way to the airport is very cool.

One of the best airports in South India especially the new terminal . Have good potential in terms of passenger movement .But Govt neglecting the airport

It is the oldest and the first airport of kerala and has two terminals. The facilities are limited like it is hard to find free mineral water but other services like clean washroom and hygienic food courts. I was there many times and was always satisfied by their services.

Offerings an International standards and hospitality

Large parking area. Trollies are not in good condition as expected. Service is good. Easy to access

Decent airport with essential amenities. Connectivity via bus is pretty convenient.
