Don't volunteer there.
They only care about their Christian volunteers. There jobs are only for Christians as well.

Dont donate their Remember when you donate money there that they arent just a food bank they are a church. Their number one focus is restoring faith to lost souls not feeding people. So when they advertise for the food bank most of the money is going to converting people.

Banned me for having a family confrontation were nobody was hurt, refuse to allow me back even after the original aggreed upon time expired,

I give 4 because they give you no frozen meat or any healthy food. All empty calorie carbs. Not my experience in other cities.

This place keeps people fed and feeling like they belong. The Folks here are special.

The seed has always been a welcoming NON-judgmental place that is peacefull warm there is always coffee and tea and a loaf of bread to take home they hand out tons of hampers to those in need and offer some God or Jesus if that's what you need it is a respected place amongst the street Comunity .I hope that they keep to the original path and not get to top heavy. kis....you always have my support and many thanks.

The Mustard Seed is such a great long standing resource to our local community. They really walk the talk.

The staff I have gotten to know are great and not so pushy to try and convert me, heck I've needed an emergency hamper and they have helped me out big time by just giving me a full hamper (1 child 1 adult) and yet still give me my normal hamper all while I was pregnant with our daughter, those who like to slam the mustard seed clearly are upset about their experience and enjoy just sitting the pot. And I'd love to say a big thank you to the seed for the help that I have and am getting from them. My ONLY complaint is to please watch the dates on the baby food items as my public health nurse has advised me to NOT use pabulum, formula, and Jared foods after their expiry date just as a safety measure for children

This institution really helps the public in every way possible. From a hearty lunch between 11:30 and 12:30 to spiritual counseling, or of course the food bank!

A place to go for warmth, a coffee and programs for the impoverished. Great volunteers for meals, food bank, some clothes and keeping the place clean. There are no barriers to who comes here.

They offer food hampers once per month. They recently renovated and it looks nice in there. I haven't been in there before they renovated, cause I haven't needed their help til recently.

Great place to get some free food for those of lower income. They also have toothpaste and other toiletries.

Very friendly staff. Big shortage on donated foods though !! But they helped with what they could and I was very grateful for what I received.

God bless them. Honestly, they are helping a lot of people. I pray they will get enough support from the community.

very impressed with the "grocery store" lay out that allows folks to select the a certain amount of items from categorized "departments" canned, dry, fresh and sometimes frozen, and household ammenities.

One of the best food bank experiences I've ever had

when it was 2012 got canned food dated from 2009. Dont these clowns check the dates before just handing out food? after all its crap people dont want anymore from the back of their cupboards. if youre a young or even a girl be prepared to be sexually harassed at times and tell the goofy guys to bug right off...lots of corruption and the staff/volunteers play favorites and lie and say theres no food you want then go get it for someone else they "like" more...NEVER donate to these sleezeballs the money just goes to Chris Riddells family vacation fund (a longtime volunteer told me and warned me about not volunteering there)

To karma k, i have gotten emebergnacy funding from the mustard seed before and i dought that the money goes to chris's family vaction fund they have to show where the money goes in order to get the funding from the governement. Canned items dont have to be in date because they are a best before date which means its still ablw to be eaten just wont be at its best quality. I woulsnt eat them either when there out of date but they are still edible. Look it up online. They have a great service for helping people but thwy deal with alot of bad people so they have to be careful with what gets given to certain people because alot of people font need the food or support they just go so they have money in there pockets. I just wouldnt believe what others say unless yoy havw proof its true other than word of mouth. From a single mother who has had no where elsr to turn from. This is a great place and the people are nice as long as you are nive to them too. If you go in there all angry they will try to calm you down and solve the problem there set up is getting alot better too!

I do some work for the Mustard Seed and have come to know many of the staff there. I can tell you that everyone I have met with has a sincere desire to help and works hard at what they do. I think it is sad that we have to have a food bank when we live in a world of plenty, but there is a need and the Mustard Seed fills it.

Truth , Love , the Church is the body and the "Mustard Seed" is the Faith, that we have in that community.. if you dont want a conform to the doctrine of people pleasing in religious buildings, preachers trying not to offend anyone with the light exposure of truth in the word then this building is the light you have been looking for, and want to here the word of Almighty God through Christ Jesus blood on the cross, walk into this place of body and test for the "Fruits of the Spirit"

Rare 5 star for me. They're in high demand so don't personalize if they seem to rush you along. Their options have improved for the food bank. Still lots of other things too, early prayer and breakfast, free workshops, and Diane is a great resource.

Mustard seed (street church) hey I volunteer here several times a month and it s a warm meal and coffee for most of our fellow citizens plus all the hampers they give out all week place is awesome

This place helps a lot of people. All kinds without prejudice.

Kind, generous, considerate, non-judgmental place.. they do their best to assist any needs. Not in it for themselves... but for others. People change and everyone at the mustard seed has a story. A changed life that is due to the love of Christ on the cross is the starting point to the beauty you see at this church.
