Musket Ridge Golf Club Review

Was there for a party, food was ok. Lump crab cake wasn't lump crab and the parm cheese rissoto was neon yellow? Not sure why that was.

Staff and starter were helpful and friendly. The range is close and it's use is included with greens fees. Course is scenic and well laid out. The greens are fast and true but like many suffer from inconsiderate golfers who don't repair ball marks. Overall a positive experience.

Great architecture in a beautiful setting overlooking the mountains. The wait staff were friendly and attentive. The food was good.

The staff were extraordinary, as they always are. We go there for our church functions/events (Allies Armies ministries).The food is also phenomenal. It's just so beautiful, the grounds,the scenery and especially the staff,l can't say enough about them. Wonderful people and place. I will recommend it to anyone anytime.

Rolling fairways, great mountain views from the clubhouse and at the turn, and a nice pro shop as well.

I played 5/23/20. Course was in great shape, Tee boxes, fairways, and greens alike! Beautiful setting and I mean beautiful...mountains in the background! I haven't played one course in the Baltimore surrounding area that can compete with the views. Staff was friendly, driving range stocked with free range balls. Layout is awesome!

A little slow at certain times, but I think the group holding everyone up only did 9 because we picked up pace on the back! Worth every minute the 45 minute drive! Only complaint (if I am being picky) was high grass off the the fairways separated many of the holes! I only hit one in there, but my partners hit a few and the balls were tough to find! However, that is player error, so of course they should really be blaming the golf club right? :)

I was actually there for wedding, not for golf. The facilities were nice The View was breathtaking and the food was absolutely first-rate. A well-run organization with first class results I must say well worth the trip and the expense because it's not cheap. But, you certainly get exactly what you pay for.

Played in a tournament here. Beautiful course with amazing views and challenging holes. Fairways and greens were in excellent condition. A great experience.

Busy day , slow play. Tournament in play . Good conditions and hit well . Greens need maintenance. Ended with very good score. Always enjoyed playing here . Will return .

The finest public course you will ever play. Also the most challenging course you will ever play. We have driven 6 hours just to play this course, because it is so beautiful and fun to play.

Great course with stunning views of the adjacent mountains and valleys. Reasonable difficulty with ability to post a good score with decent play. Pace of play was very good as we finished in about 4 hrs 15 min. Could have been in a little better condition, many bare spots in fairways and inconsistent sand in bunkers.

This is in the top 2 Md public courses right behind Bulle Rock. Must play

Great course and friendly staff. One of the best in the state.

Our favorite course. Fun holes that don't penalise you when you get to the greens. Don't get in the bunkers. Only complaint is the type of sand. It is a true haazard.

Stay very far away from this venue! I had my dental office holiday party here well over a month ago, spent well over $10,000 for a few hours, only to find out they they overcharged me $1,000! For about 6 weeks now I have been told they have mailed me a check, to our accounting department will issue an immediate credit card refund , to no response at all. Something that clearly could be resolved in seconds via credit card refund has not happened, along with continual changing of stories leads me to believe how dishonest this place is and makes me wonder if it is purposefully done. I would stay away from these people and bring your business elsewhere. There are many other places in and around Frederick that are honest to have your events and /or wedding receptions at, and will not steal your money. I have resorted to getting an attorney to get this resolved.

Beautiful fall wedding and everything looked awesome. Staff was great and very polite!
