This is the MOST UNPROFESSIONAL DRS Office ever. Go ANYWHERE else. The wait is long. You will be here for.about 2-3 hours regardless of early you get there. The doctors dont actually care about their patients. The OB team is a complete joke, even the schedulers dont return phone calls. Don't waste your time.
This is one of the worst medical facilities I've ever been to, outside of nursing homes and sanatoriums. The staff is rude, the doctors just refer you as they don't care nor do they even remember who you are, they push the more expensive medications and procedures rather than the most effective ones, the waits are long all over, the place is filthy, and on an odd note, the waiting room reeked heavily of marijuana every single time I was there.
This place is only good for the pedestrian and he is extremely difficult to schedule an appointment with. I do not like anything else about this place. The security guard is rude and likes to harass people, the place is dirty, unorganized and the people in general are rude. I would highly suggest going somewhere better. I will be looking else where. I have been going here for 2 years and nothing has improved.
Everything I asked accomodations for they couldnt meet and they didnt apologize or even seem to care just prefacing that they are booked out and I didnt have a choice to see the dentist I had my xray and exam appointments with. This place needs to go.

Arrived 15min early still took over an hour to be seen receptionest was extreamly RUDE! Also didnt even have the gas for an extraction for young child. (Not prepaired) Would NOT suggest this place to ANYONE. Hope you have a better exsperience. I will be taking my services some place els.
What kind of place is this? My 32 year old daughter just came back from there had a molar pulled it was all infected her face had even swollen up over the last couple days and they sent her home and told her to take Tylenol or ibuprofen.? Ibuprofen really??? Ummmmm doesn t that promote bleeding? Don t you think that they could haven given her a script for a couple of pills of something stronger? What a bunch idiots.
Dental office is great, VERY affordable. All staff was very helpful and made me feel calm during my cavity filling.
Too many staff leave here.....the good people that actually care about the patients have left to persure other employment opportunities
Dr. Yapa is very professional, thorough, and very kind. The best dentist I have seen. Made me feel at ease for my appt, also checked for TMJ and oral cancers without prompting. The office was clean. A sliding fee scale for people is SO AWESOME. I am proud to say I found a great dentist!!!
Every visit is guaranteed to be at least an hour late. Today my appointment was at noon- its 1:30 and still haven't seen the doctor. If I was an hour and a half late for my appointment they wouldn't see me but they don't even have the courtesy to call you to tell you the doctor is running late so you sit and sit and wait and wait. All in the middle of Covid. Ridiculous.
Unsafe facility with rude and disrespectful employees along with incompetent P.A's. (physicians assistant) If you can't find any other facility and must use M.F.C. stay away from P.A. Ryan Bush and P.A. Tony Vera. They only care about billing insurance to increase their wages. I strongly recommend you look elsewhere
This place Is a joke, they tell you to check in 15 minutes before your appointment then make you wait over an hour to be seen. The receptionist is rude as well.

The health providers never stay very long before leaving to work somewhere better. The CEO Shelia is a two time convicted felon for larceny in the 90's and after her luxurious business trips to Vegas and Los Angeles, the feds concluded that the facility mismanaged it's funds and they don't know where federal grant money was used. Also a employee there Joshua Humphrey is now serving 28 to 51 years for drugging and raping dozens of women. They have a decent dental clinic and material infant health program but that's it. Notice how the facilities administrative board members are all church friends of the CEO Shelia. Nothing but bad news.
The dental office screwed up my husbands teeth and a doctor there nearly killed me. I went in thinking that I had a urinary tract infection and they didnt even send my urine sample in. When I called back the next day feeling worse, they told me they couldn't get me in for two weeks. By Friday I was in emergency and by monday admitted to the hospital. Not only did I have a uti, it was so progressed I had e coli in my blood. My family and I will never go there again.
I accidentally scheduled an appointment here and not with my regular dentist,I still decided to go because of the severe pain I'm in. I'm so happy I did because all of the staff is amazing and treated me well. Dr.Yapa is the best dentist I've seen in a while. I dont understand why they dont have better reviews,it's baffling.

I've been going to Muskegon Family Care for about 10 years and I love it. I've changed doctors a couple times within MFC until I got one that I truly admire & respect but I'll never leave this place for my health care needs.
The wait at this place is horrible. Every appointment I've had I've had to wait up to almost an hour and I've showed up early. I'm referring to the dental facility.

Medicare sends statements to me giving options of fraudulent billings, this is when i see all the charges submitted by MFC that were not provided.
So should i report?
My thought would be if i do and medicare doesn't pay them; then they will send me a bill for services never provided.

As a graduated student billing I know exactly how you should act and Kerri was extremely rude to me.She acted like she was better than me and didn't seem like she even cares about my problems with my bill. And this is nothing first time this has happened to me or someone I know. So believe me I will be calling a manager and complaining BC nobody else deserves to be treates how she treated me.

New to the area and took my son here for his well-child. I called end of November and got a call back, where we scheduled for January. She sent out paperwork where I was encouraged to send back (they included postage). I did the paperwork but the days came and went. I came in and they were just happy it was done. We were seen promptly, where they listened to our concerns and did a screening. We were set up on the sliding scale, and that was that. Nice and painless.
They talk a good game but when action is required they fall far short. I've been waiting 3 weeks for a stat referral to neurosurgery and pain management and called on it 3 times. They must be too busy chasing the all mighty dollar.

After speaking with manager Ellen I was informed I have been rude and vulgar with her people and it was "documented." After asking how I was rude and vulgar she could not cite me with any case or time of me being rude other than me asking how I was being rude was rude of me. Completely disinterested in double talk I hung up on her.
Hippa violation. They asked for my info and looked up the wrong person so when my address didnt match she told me oh i have the address "********" giving out another patients information. Do i have to worry about my information too?
I have been waiting since September 2019 for my dentures to be done! Absolutely horrible place to rely on. I would NEVER recommend this facility to anyone.
It's like dealing with children every time I have to call in to get my daughter's medication. It's getting ridiculous and dangerous for my daughter. They'll put her in the hospital. I call weeks early and. It still takes forever to call the pharmacists to get her medication refilled. They're gonna get sued by someone soon if they don't stop
My cousin went in there yesterday and met this rude worker named Kerri in billing. The things that she said were way over the line. It s sad that a grown women is acting like a child.

This place is unbelievably bad. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere, anywhere else. After going here for a year it's blatantly obvious that the Dr's here either don't know how or don't want to help anyone. With the exception of a couple nurses (not including gina) who are nice the staff is incredibly rude. If u have a legitimate health issue DO NOT come here.
On the 13 of march the CEO Sheila Bridges had the IT Tech Tia call me to threaten me! Wouldn t doubt if they are embezzling money again.I been at this place for almost 10 years. Now if you had nothing to hide why are you calling making threats? So a friend who had emailed Sheila Bridges she thought it was me. Sheila had release some information on a patient that shouldn t of been released committing hipaa violation. It was threatened to the person that was emailed that Tia would trace The IP address Which is Illegal without a warrant, funny how you assume things and leads to Question. Like she 3 time convicted felon.

I'm writing this review as I'm waiting in the exam room waiting to be seen by the doctor just to let you know. My appointment was at 9:00 am and wasn't called back until 9:30 am. Here it is now 10:10 am and doctor hasn't
been in. This is not my first time here but it is my 1st time waiting this long. This is beyond ridiculous to be waiting this long especially with no explanation of where the doctor is at or how long it's going to be before getting seen. They should know us patients have other stuff to do besides waiting all day. I'm getting very impatient and so is my daughter and I want to get out of here. So my doctor needs to hurry up. Update no doctor yet (time is now 10:15 am)
I have all my primary and women's health through Muskegon Family Care. The providers are focused on overall wellness, not just on symptoms, and they haven't done any unnecessary tests. For example, My PCP Dr. Wallace, showed me a stretch to do that eliminated my hip pain, as opposed to others who have just thrown drugs at me. My PCP is usually booked at least a month in advance, but when I have an emergency, they always get me in right away. I have never felt so "cared" for as I have with MFC. The wait times were long about a year ago, but have recently been very short.
They are so far scheduled out it's ridiculous. Hope no one is dying...
Constantly canceling my appointments... never can get me in sooner when they cancel its always a month plus out. Been in need of a couple filings since Jan, been canceled on every new appointment made.
I was late to an appointment and the friendly people at the desk got me rescheduled within 15 minutes! Really great facility, dental practitioners and staff.
This place is full of crap, I waited an hour to not be seen. A lady who came in about 9 minutes late was told she'd have to reschedule to a different day because she was checked as a no show already. Couldn't tell you how good they are otherwise, I won't be attempting to go back.
We we're second people here today and the first person was already checked off the list, We waited 1hr,45 mins and had 20 or more people in and out, we asked what's going on several times and finally after making a scene, we we're seen....Wow! Great Job Guys!!

MFC is the place where they genuinely care, everytime I go to my doctor's appointment at MFC I get treated with genuine kindness, care and respect.

I have been going to Muskegon Family Care for only a few years now. In the past 2 weeks, they nearly cost me my life! I would not recommend my worse enemy to this facility. I am on the hunt for a more competent Doctor! Please do not go to this place, it could cost you your life!!!!!
My MFC experience has been more than satisfactory; professional and courteous, the staff (doctors, nurses, receptionists) seem to listen to me and treat me like a person, not just rushing me through. I would highly recommend them to anyone in search of medical care.

Made me wait 4 hours for an appointment should never take 4 hours just for a Doctors appointment. This place needs to get its act together and step up its game. If you can go some where else stay away!!!
Too long of waits.
1st Dr., I had was always way late as in hours waiting! I once waited over 6, yes Six hours to see her! Plus her Aid knew more than she did and kept answering my questions and concerns that the Dr would look to her for answers!
That so called Dr kept getting me mixed up with one of her other patients!!!
Next Dr., same way at times as in over 2 hours or more, late.
And when you have a ride company on time limmits, you either go now, or you find other transportation home, which I would have had to walk over 3 miles!
The lady in charge of thier transportation NEVER CALLS MANY OF US BACK, while leaving messages of upcomming apointments, saying you DIDNT CALL!!!
But my call logs always proved otherwise!!!
If I could afford transportation and another place for medical, I would be done gone!
This place caused 2 people I know pain and did NOT fill a cavity correctly. When a dentist cannot do a cavity correctly there is some huge issues.
