The Gmundner Cinema is a small charming cinema with a great program. There are 2 rooms, one of which is located in the old theater hall and another in modern style. Each film is announced in person, which gives the whole an extra special touch.

Very family atmosphere in a beautiful old theater hall. Before the film, the operator personally gives a short preview of the further program.
Sometimes alternative films are offered that are not to be found in the program of the big cinema chains

The cinema offers the best cinema experience in a really nice atmosphere with interesting films that are also presented personally. We had a nice movie evening and would like to skip the slipper cinema again.

Just Spring Musical Festwochen in the City Theater Gmunden. The Austrian premiere of Doctor Zhivago's Musical will be shown. The best ensemble Austria has to offer is in the beautiful Gmunden. Heartbreaking, dramatic and musically a great highlight. Absolutely visit until May 5th. EXTRA Worth seeing :-)

Hall 2 is a nice little cinema. In Saal 1, the Stadttheater, sitting is a challenge. The personal introduction to the films I find very informative and a friendly service to the visitor.

Very special cinema with red plush, chandeliers, theater hall and small bar. The owner personally introduces the film. Mixed program. All in all, very nice and cozy cinema, as it can hardly be found any more. A treasure right on the lake in Gmunden!

Today again LOVE FOR THE CINEMA - LOVE FOR FILM felt in every corner of the old theater. If the upcoming film highlights are referred to in personal words and insider tips are shown, then the hearts of cineastes will beat faster! An old theater, with a large cinema hall or theater hall, with large screen, and a small hall with about 20 rows of seats, very comfortable seats and modern facilities as the large hall below.

Since the large hall is also used as a theater, there are also very quaint lodges in this one.

Both cinemas have 3D projectors, a small minus are the special 3D glasses, these are covered with a thin film, do not touch with your fingers because otherwise, the 3D effect no longer comes into its own.

Very nice staff, and also for the physical well-being is taken care, because in the entrance area a bar is in the for every taste something to find. Popcorn, sports gums, soft drinks and beer are all available (at very fair prices).

I really enjoy going out with my daughter because it's not as crowded as the big movie chains, but it offers the same amenities.

As a bad weather program for tourists also to be recommended !!
