Had a vibe from idk it seemed like me and wife and daughter were being judged like we might not can afford anything or know music, well I took business elsewhere, bought a nice acoustic/electric from Best Pawn in Sevierville TN,took that guitar to my "local shop" Toppers Music in Lebanon TN to have serviced and purchased a hardshell, case, strap, pack of 100 Dunlop Med. Picks all that without the "look"

Great folks! Excellent selection. Will definitely be back. They even have in-house method books with the Nashville Numbers system (a rare find & professional quality). - from a professional musician

They took the time to let us try at least 8 guitars, very friendly, great selection, great old guitar shop feel. This is not the big box store, very personal feel, will return. Prices were good.

The people in the store absolutely phenomenal. Purchased a guitar from them a while back and took it back in to have the action adjusted. This is typical of new instruments. When I arrived they adjusted the neck to correct the action free of charge being that I purchased the guitar from them. Also purchased a tuner and a capo during this visit. All of the staff were extremely kind and helpful. Excellent source of acoustic instruments.

Great store, good selection, good prices. Knowledgeable staff. I might even consider driving the 4 hours it takes from my house to purchase another guitar. I found them while we were on vacation in the mountains.

Was looking to buy a bass and decided to stop in here to check out what they had because of all of the positive reviews. Not a single worker even acknowledged that we were there or offered to help us. Wondered around for awhile and still no help, workers were just caught in their own conversation. Left empty handed as did another customer that came in around the same time as us. 3 stars because they really did have a good selection, but there was absolutely no service.

Complete but stock is crowded. You can find a wide range of sizes in stringed instruments- guitars, ukes, banjos, violins. Lots of strings, picks, other accessories. Don't expect neatness and shiny shelves but if you want something, it is probably here.

Without a doubt, the only place to purchase musical instruments and sound systems or have minor repairs made to them. A family run business that takes pride in providing the best service and best equipment at the best prices. These guys can in most cases even beat Internet prices. They have the expertise to do major installs for large venues and places of worship as well.
Great people to deal with!

We come here ever trip to Pigeon Forge to browse. We've purchased a Taylor Electric here. Whether makin a purchase or not, these guys are always happy to let you try out an instrument, and when possible, they hang around to chat and answer any questions you have. They are a friendly group. Feels very hometown and not commercial. We enjoy seeing their lab Hank that is always present at the store. Great selection.

Great mandolin selection! Very chill, no pressure to buy, and they had several mid to high end Eastmans and Webers. I am sure they beginner mandolins too.

Hard to find anywhere with this kind of selection, and I bet their banjos and guitars are top notch too.

Shop is a bit crowded in terms of instruments, but still a very good visit.

Went to browse while on vacation. Bought two sets of my favorite acoustic strings. They have so many options when it come to accessories. And if it's a new instrument you're interested in, you won't be disappointed. Kind and courteous.

This is a locally owned business that will take great care of you. They have a huge selection of instruments to chose from. My son has been taking guitar lessons from Pat for a few weeks now and loves it.

I didn't take any pictures, as I was actually here looking for a good guitar to buy, BUT LET ME TELL YOU. This place is pure magic for somebody who loves music. There are a wide selection of instruments to browse from, here. Acustic, electric, reverberater, steel, and bass guitars, they have a wide selection of keyboards, and even a few drum kits. They have banjos, violins, and even standing bass and cellos, I was in heaven, I'll tell you. Prices vary, and go from reasonably cheap, up to reasonably expensive (musical instruments, no such thing as unreasonably expensive). I didn't make a purchase, as what I wanted wasn't in my budget, but I will definitely be back.

P.S.
There is an elderly dog, here, and he is just the sweetest, gets all the belly rubs, so dog allergy, I'm sorry.

The legacy continues. Years ago I was an active musician... Spending hours crammed in the old music outlet location. Jim and Joel became friends. About the time the new store opened I began aldulting. Opening my own retail establishment... Career... Family... All the standard stuff with your typical hiccups along the way. Recently I began sneaking back into my favorite space in the world. The kids are there now... Holding down the fort with the same attention, love for music and yes.... Even Arther remains a fixture still a fixing.

You can not find a better family operated business that has successfully bridged the generational gap.

I spent an hour there today... 100$ and a few jabs around the face covering mandate.

Old time customer service. Stopped in with the family while on vacation because my daughter was interested in a mandolin. Even after they realized that she was only there to purchase a "beginner" model, they still treated her like the most important person in the world. Rare level of customer service in today's world. Highly recommend!

I talked to a store employee a week ago via Facebook messenger. I made this place a stop on my vacation, because of the quick customer service, and was excited to shop for a new mandolin since they had several.

I could not get anyone to assist me, people were sitting on the floor, boxes were everywhere. My son was in a stroller, and we could not get through the store. It was a fire hazard for sure, we finally left due to lack mood/care of the staff. As we were leaving, I had to pick up my son's stroller, and carry over the dog that was blocking the exit. This place was a major letdown.

Husband went. Wanted to look around. They would not let him enter; covid, you know. From the looks of it, the world was NOT beating a path to their door. Hubs was only customer. They told him they would get whatever he needed. I mean, sometimes you just want to look and maybe something will catch your eye. He is a musician and this is one of his places to go when we make our yearly visit to the area. Remains to be seen if we ever visit them again. Every other shop/store we visited was open and welcoming. Their prerogative, their loss.
