Nice hotel easy access to town and train to London. Clean and comfortable.

Immaculate, comfortable rooms. Staff that cheerfully goes the extra mile.

Great even if they rooms are a little small the reception staff are great . The f
ood at be Cafe Rouge ,,(the vegetable tagine ) is great.

A perfectly located hotel to discover st Albans, opppsite the cathedral and park. Facilities and staff were good, however room was not very clean.

We had a great time celebrating my partner's birthday along with 33 other guests of all ages. Rooms very good, evening 'party' meal equally good as was the breakfast along with friendly, helpful and efficient staff. A reflection of a good manager

Exceptional!, Wonderful service from the lady on reception on arrival. Nothing was to much bother. We had adjoining rooms both were decorated nicely, clean and we were all very comfortable. Breakfast was great, many choices and we were made welcome from the moment we stepped foot in the hotel and even after we left. One of our boys left his teddy behind and we received an email from the hotel offering to post it to us. Simply Great in a very nice location.

We decided to stay here at the last minute on.a Friday eve.
We found the staff very friendly and helpful, The room was very clean and the breakfast was good with a friendly and professional service.

Staff were polite, room was very nice, shower was amazing. Breakfast was also brilliant. Nice variety.

Simple to the point. Attentive staff and more helpful then other similarly priced places I've stayed in the area. Close to the park and to reach the A roads but still short walk to restaurants.

Not a bad stay, one downfall was I paid for a double but on arrival was told I needed to be moved and ended up in a single bed, it was only one night so wasn't too concerned. Staff were very friendly and signs saying hotel was being refurbished so that's a good thing. Nothing worse than a dated hotel, parking was a bit of a mare on arrival but apparently they have 2 other car parks close by but you dont know this until you check in and I had already paid in a public car park because only 3 parking spaces at the actual hotel which was full. Would defo stay again though if the need arises

We had breakfast in the morning which was a buffet with hot and continental choice. All very good quality. Staff friendly.

St Albans is a great place to visit but our experience in this hotel was sadly not great. My husband and I had a really uncomfortable restless night squashed up in a 'compact' and tiny double bed. the tea and milk provided was revolting.and More

Nice hotel in the Old town city St. Albans. Has an excellent near by public park that is good for morning and evening walks.

Parking was a bit of a mission. They have three car parks of varying distances, so we had a bit of a walk from the car park to the hotel (after pulling in to the hotel and asking at reception)
The room was nice and fairly standard. The hotel looked nice on the ground floor and it was a good location for us as we were visiting the fighting cocks pub in Verulamium so could cross the road and walk through.

The location is not bad, but the hotel itself is nothing special. It only serves to sleep, little pleasant space.

Great hotel for everyone visiting St. Albans. Located in the centre, with very polite and helpful staff, nice bar and perfect kitchen. You'll get high class service for a decent price. Rooms were clean and even though they could use a little renovation, I'd still recommend this place for almost every visitor.

Professionnal and helpful staff. Old style hotel which has been refurbished, and well maintained though. Spacious room and bathroom. Minimum toiletries are provided (Shower gel, Conditionner, Body Lotion, Shower cap). Iron board in the room, kettle, and a powerful hair dryer.

The hotel had a nice albeit small reception. The rooms were adequate and well furnishef however the halls were narrow and tattered in decor.. Staff were polite.

Great location.Weird parking arrangements. The rooms are small but clean.We had an issue with the water which came out from underneath the tiles floor inside the room.We report it twice at the reception in the same day but nothing happened.The humidity was very high inside the room.Also the "view " was incredible , a huge brick wall taller than the hotel building was at less than 3-4 foot in front of the window.

Nice enough place. Rooms are clean and modern. Some strange parking arrangements that can result in you having to park a few minutes away, which you have to go to reception to find out about and get a pass for your car. Staff are friendly and helpful.
