This is an Aurora public golf course on the higher end of their spectrum. One website lists it as top 50 in the state. You'll find interesting holes, challenging terrain, far greens, and a good practice facility. It is walkable if you're in decent shape. The bar and grill are good as well. It can be a bit of a drive if you don't live in Aurora, but it's worth it. The $10 off M-Th after 11a deal was nice.

Great course.

Great course.

Loads of room on the fairway for the player who tends to hook and slice their ball.

This is a MUST play if in the Denver area! I played as a single on the twilight rate. I went out around 445 pm on a beautiful weekday. I was cheerfully greeted by a gentleman by the name of Will ; Who later identified himself to me as the assistant pro. Every golf course needs a staff member like Will!
Always there with a smile and a kind word. A great conversationalist and a definite asset to that golf course. My round was a bit slow considering there were several singles walking the course. But it was a beautiful day and I enjoyed every bit of that golf course. There s not many trees out there so wind is a factor. The day that I played greens were easily running at 11 on the stimp meter. The clubhouse and restaurant facility is five star. Everyone of the staff in the restaurant was super friendly and accommodating and always there when needed. Emma was my bartender and she made killer drinks with a big smile.

This is a definite must play! The training area is incredible as well

Leslie Core-Drevecky and the Murphy Creek staff are truly phenomenal people. I scheduled an event at another venue, and last minute there were access issues with the venue. Leslie bent over backwards to accommodate me and my guests at the golf course, she went above and beyond to help me solve an issue that she had no investment in, the Murphy Creek Golf Course staff is in great hands with her leadership, and we as patrons are in good hands as well. Thank you a million times over Leslie!

I really liked this course, even with the challenging greens that forced me to three putt a couple times. Nice winding layout through developments. The course was in excellent condition from the greens, fairways, rough and even bunkers. Good challenges and was certainly not boring. I'd go back soon.

This is my favorite track in the metro area. Links golf and challenging holes at every turn. Clubhouse is good, practice area is the best I've found (all grass range, putting green, big chipping facility with bunkers, and even pitching greens for long wedge shots), and the view of the mountain range from each hole is really awesome.
